      Recently rented with Dollar and will be my last time. We did the return with full tank option. Filled it twice on the last day, with the second fill up to top it off less than a 1/4 mile from the return garage. They couldn't print a receipt so they emailed it while I waited with the checkin attendant next to the car. Being in a hurry, I didn't look at the receipt but just verified I got the email. Looking at it later, they added a 3 gallon charge and another fee over my estimated charge. Called them and they redirected me to their website to file a complaint. Have heard nothing. Is this one of their techniques to steal from people?

      I got my reservations,and I allready payed the fees at Booking.com,I went to pick up the car from "Dollar"car rental,but they don't let me..I got a valid driver license,ID,Passport,and a debit card.The attendant at the desk was extremelly not coperative,not helpfull,gives me attitude.I was polite,nice to her,was too tired to "fight"back.I was rented a car before from this company,without any complications,I was shocked.Its happened at ***********.I needed to cancel my appointments,I lost time,money,patience,energy..WORST "CAR RENTAL"EXPERIENCE EVER!!!STAY AWAY!!!

      This is the worst rental car that I have been used please don’t rent with this company I made the reservation for SUV when I got to the place to get my car the credit card that I used to rent car I left home so the Guy told me to call customer service to change the number of the car , 1 hr to tolk to some body so finally they told me that they don’t have the car for my reservation asked to pay for bigger SUV . When I get back same thing my card wasn’t change . Finally 2 hrs 30 minute afther I went down to get the car they gave me small SUV get back with them finally I decided not get that car and they charged more money for the upgrade. Don’t rent the car with this company customer service the worse . If I could will gave 0 star never in my live again rent with this company I expend 4 hrs in the process to get the car . Half day loos from my time .

      Rented a vehicle from Dollar, and the first vehicle needed an oil change. I went back in to exchange the vehicle and was given another one. The vehicle that I received in exchange obviously had transmission issues (gear wouldn’t shift properly) braking issues, and wasnt clean. I tried to contact customer service several times throughout the rental period only to be directed to a form to complete online. Completed the form THREE times wothout response. Unfortunately, I was two states away, when a snow storm warning was in effect. So, considering the condition of the vehicle, I returned the vehicle a day late. This is something that I noted in my online complaint that never received a response. Not only did they charge me without acknowledging my complaints, they over-charged me., two extra days! Finally I received a “how was your experience email”, after completing the survey, I finally received a snoody email from Mary L. (2 days after the rental was returned). Telling me an adjustment is not warranted because, “ required to undergo strict maintenance and servicing procedures prior to being released for rental.” Which OBVIOUSLY is a lie, and isnt the case because I was inconvenienced TWICE with two vehicles that needed service. I do not know why I decided to use them. It was my first time renting from them, and trust and believe, I will never do it again.

      Reserved small compact car for $297.86. Went to pick up the car after waiting in a long line for over an hour and was told all they had available was an electric car. We do not have access to a charging station and was told they would upgrade us to a SUV because that was all they had left. Well, they charged us for the upgrade and tacked on all extra fees and the final bill was now $842.87. They didn't even apply the $182.90 deposit we put down. TYPICAL BAIT AND SWITCH. We have asked for a refund of $512.90 with no response. This is not a customer problem but a ******************** problem. It looks as though they have a habit of doing this with no regards to resolving or making it right with the customer. BE AWARE of what is going on and don't hesitate to move on to the next company.

      This place is a disaster if you want to wait in line for two hours waiting for a car rental book Dollar! One employee for a line of people!!!

      Worst rental company ever. Be careful because they charge you for insurance even if you declined. Then they talk. Ive to you and keep you talking so you dont even notice until you leave. I called CS the next morning and they said dont worry it will be fixed when you return your car. Nope the manager was immediately rude and said I wont help you. I called 3 times and got 3 different reps who said nothing could be done because they dont have record of me calling the next morning. Asked for a supervisor and was told they dont work weekends which was a straight up lie. The 3rd one sent us to a supervisor who was able to find my call and reimbursed some of it. I still overpaid by more than $100 but at least it want the overcharge of $600 they first charged. Will never use again. I wont use Hertz either because they own Dollar. Very shady company.

      Avoid ???Nobody was trying to solve the problem or read my concerns thoroughly, instead clearly everyone from the reps is trying to save themselves and just put the blame on another party, first the bank second platepass for tolls, and lastly they put it on me because I signed and agreed on the terms and conditions blindly that give dollar rental the right to have all these hidden charges so ended up paying around 460 cad instead of ****** cad that was indicated on the website when I confirmed the booking
