      They did not honor my original online agreement and proceeded to nickel and dime me. I was told all their vehicles were 2023s and was given a 2018 SUV with bad brakes. Online I signed up for flat fee for gas and found out that the agent had removed it after being charged $144 for gas. I was also charged for tolls that I paid cash for at the toll booth on my trip. They cant be trusted.

      Having arrived (on time) to terminal A in *** I proceeded to the Dollar desk to collect my car.While 2nd in line I was told by a staff member that I needed to go to terminal C. No reason given. Arrived at terminal C and was me with a 3.5hr que. My family and I had just stepped off an 8hr flight. 2 desks open (increasing to 3) and boy did the staff make it very obvious that they would take their time with each customer. Disgusting treatment to customers and completely incompetent customer service one a complaint was filed. Any day of the week I'd rather pay more for **** or Hertz that to ever give Dollar a single dime of my money again. Disgraceful, please steer clear and book else where.

      At the end of a long weary trip, the last thing you want to face is a fake, pushy sales gimmick when you have a prepaid car rental. That is what this Dollar Car rental center is, bad customer service, make you sign for services you never wanted and a zero follow up on complaints. Never again.

      They more than tripled the price of the vehicle all because they said there weren't many cars left to rent... over $1600.00 for 4 days for a vehicle that sounded like it would break down at any moment. They don't deserve any stars. I was forced to put at least one. I am more than disgusted that there are companies out there taking advantage of people like this. My friend rented from the same company for 7 days for about $500 for the whole 7 days.

      Will never use them again! Paid online 2 months advance had est of 172.00 at pick up well guy behind counter wouldnt listen or see reservations that were in front of him. My 698.00 rental ended up 1300.00 he tacked on fee after fee. I told him im using my insurance and he didnt listen. We returned car gas filled because there was no way in hell i Was gonna prepay 9.99 in Raliegh NC from them! They lie online and customer service are frauds.

      Long Lines, No Cars, Overworked Employees, Bad Management I rented a car from Dollar for pickup at the Nashville Airport. Dollar had one person at the counter helping a line that had more than 30 people in it. Very slow moving so I called the 800 number and was told since I have the Dollar express membership I can walk up to the rental cars and speak to an agent there for service; get the car quicker, which is how they advertise the experience. I walked into the garage and found an agent who said I had to go to the Hertz desk area. I waited in that line and noticed about 20 people waiting for cars...because they were out of cars and 10 people waiting to get into the Hertz office. After waiting a few minutes I walked back over to the Dollar station and the agent said that I had to speak to Hertz; Dollar could not help me with a Dollar rental. I went back to Hertz and when I finally made it into the agent, she was annoyed and tried to send me away to Dollar. I had to vigorously defend myself, explaining that Dollar sent me there! She finally gave me my paperwork and told me to wait in the Hertz line for the car. Again, slow moving and no cars readily available. They were waiting for cars to be returned so they could turn them around and rent them out. After several minutes of waiting, the person working the line was annoyed that several Dollar customers were in the Hertz line, but she was annoyed with the Dollar agents and she sent us over to Dollar. So we waited in another line, again for no cars. She didn't have what I rented but finally offered me a minivan and I gladly accepted. Gas was slightly more than half full and I eventually found out while on the interstate that Keysense was activated. Keysense prevented the radio from going up to a certain volume, so I could not hear the GPS, music, or audiobook. It also capped the speed at 80 mph apparently; fine, I didn't need to drive fast. I communicated with Dollar who said Keysense wasn't supposed to be activated.

      Waited at least 45 minutes in the line to pick up the car. By the time I got to the front of the line, I was tired and ready to leave the airport. The woman who checked me out seemed nice enough. However, she asked me "do you want the insurance, are you the only driver...ect." The usual questions. I cleared stated "I'm the only driver, I don't want anything extra except I'll pay the fee for a gas fill up at the end of my rental." She hurried me and along and said "Okay, then initial here." I was on my way. I didn't realize after I dropped off the car and got my final receipt that they had charged me almost an $200 for LDW. I never accepted this and called the 1-800 number right away. The customer service gal was very nice and said "you're right, you didn't accept this charge so I will refund you." I waited over a week and still no refund. I called back and a different gal stated "Oh yes, that agent did put in for a refund but it was rejected. They have deemed that you did agree to it. There's nothing else I can do." So here I am wondering what to do next. Do I call again and hope someone else can help? Do I call my bank and refuse the charge? An honest company shouldn't make it this difficult.

      They are terrible. I’m at Boston Logan. One employee covering Thrifty and Dollar. Sometimes cheaper is not always better. Next time I’m going to pay a little more to use a car rental company that actually cares.

      Not even worth one star. Arrived at airport to pick up the car and was told it would be a two hour wait. They would not refund the deposit and had no interest in helping us get to our next destination on time.

      Rented the car 2 weeks in advance. They promise to grab the keys and go but they failed to have the vehicle ready and it was well over 45 mins to get a vehicle. We thought this would be an easier route to get moving on our way. The wait was not ideal having 4 kids. Terrible customer service as well
