      The absolutely worst experience ever in renting a vehicle from Dollar Car Rental/Hertz , I arrived in ******* ,** on May 19,2023 at **************** @3:00 PM arrived to pick up my rental car at 4:00pm on the same day going to My niece graduation which started at 6pm . I missed the graduation , waiting in line for 4 hours ! yes that's right this is not a typepo 4hours I received my rental at 8:15pm that evening, I made the reservation on line , I couldn't cancel because of the way the reservation was setup and besides the other rental car places in the airport had no cars available. So I paid for a flight, airbnb, for a missed event. How about another symbol other than stars.

      Do not book with them. Lazy rude employees. Never got the car that I prepaid. Should be 0 stars. Still fighting with Dollar to get my money back. Waited 2 hours until I took an Uber.

      I arrived at ***************************** and went to pick up my car from Dollar Car Rental. Pricing did not accurately match my quoted amount and when I asked about the costs I was told that I couldn't waive the options. Once I received my car the radio did not work and the inside of the car was not clean. I spoke with the attendant at the gate (she was very nice) and she moved me into a different car quickly. Pricing is falsely advertised. I was charged an additional $211 compared to my original booking. The charges were $146.46 for insurance and fuel costs that I was told at the desk I could not waive and that they were "included in my packaged booking" and an additional $65.15 in fees that were originally quoted at $38.71. This should all be shown during the initial reservation. I did optionally select to book the toll pass that cost $41.97 and I understand this charge, it was expected. However, the other charges and advertising is completely unacceptable. Overall I am very disappointed with the advertised costs compared to what the reality of my booking was. My initial booking was for $140.20 and my final charge was $360.56.. Like I said previously, I understand the one additional charge for the tolls($41.97), that was anticipated. But everything else is complete false advertisement and a sad way to interact and value your customers. I will not be booking with Dollar or Thrifty again.

      THIEVES! I went to Phoenix for a business trip, the company I work for made the car rental reservation and paid for the service. When I got there they asked me for a credit card because is their policy. I returned the car, Next day I see a charge of 504$, I called them and they told me it was a mistake and that they will return the money in 5 business days, aster 5 days the only returned 399$, no receipt no notification, basically they just still money because they want to worst experience with car rental.

      Do not rent a car from Dollar/Hertz! We picked up our car at ******************* after an hour wait on line and customer service desk. When we got into car, the seats were stained and the car stank of cigarette smoke. We did not have time to go back to service desk, so were stuck with this car, even though it stated on FOB that it was a smoke-free vehicle. Upon our return, I reported this condition to the attendant in parking lot and at service desk. The customer service person said he would give my a $50 voucher toward next rental. I told him this was unacceptable, especially because we rarely have the need to rent a car and would not be renting from Dollar in future. He gave me the phone number of the manager, who has not returned my phone messages. I also called the main phone number and was told I needed to deal with this on the local level. He also said that nothing had been added to my account regarding my complaints even though I was told this would be done. I would rate the service at Dollar as a Zero.

      RENTED A VAN MARCH 13TH AND WHEN I ARRIVE ON MAY 13TH TO PICK UP VEHICLE I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE A SIX HOUR WAIT. THE **** AT THE COUNTER WAS VERY RUDE AND WOULD NOT ANSWER ANYMORE OF MY QUESTIONS. THIS IS VERY UNACCEPTABLE! WHY WOULD A AIRPORT RENTAL COMPANY GIVE OUT OF CARS, ETC.**************

      Dollar double charged for our rental on the first day. (May 16, 2023) Now we are out of funds on our honeymoon. Poor customer service as they say we'll be refunded in **** days. Trip will be over by then obviously. What are we to do now when our money is stolen like this?!

      I had made a reservation with Dollar car rental for May 6th to May 8th 2023 for ********** international airport upon arrival went to the counter and gave this rude woman at customer service my reservation code the first thing came out of her mouth was you have to use a credit card and pay ****** and for her to run my credit in order for them ********** the car.. I specifically asked the agent who work with ***** who book this reservation if theres anything else I should know before giving out my card and he said no just if I take back the car before or after schedule date and time there will a price difference nothing else..no good afternoon nothing.. I was like I had made this reservation a month prior and I also has a corporate code and Im telling you, these people are the worst in ******* history in car rental business.. I ended up went to enterprise so I could get to my son Graduation .. which end up better for me . If you have to rent a car please, please dont go to Dollar car rental their customer service stinks and disgusting I shouldve known better after reading all their reviews not to do any business with them .. Im telling you this car rental will make you stranded at the airport.. dont do any business with them if you wanna get to your destination .. that customer service lady is disgusting and rude .. NEVER again go enterprise!!Dollar Car Rental is the worse EVER!

      I am simply shocked with the level of service here. Ive NEVER had an experience like this at any other rental car company. Our rental was confirmed for ****. When we arrived we were told that no cars were available and to wait. We inquired how long the wait would be and they said approximately 30 minutes. After over 2 hours we asked where we were in line and were told we still needed to wait. The staff was dismissive and couldnt care less- and when we become increasingly frustrated we were told that our reservation was cancelled, we couldnt be serviced!! I was appalled. Our children were with ** for a family vacation and we had to go across the street and made an on the spot reservation. This business is simply a scam, and robbing customers. It doesnt deserve to be in business.

      Rented a car in ************, ** fir a couple days. Dollar had the best rate. Turned the car in almost a whole day early. Two weeks later, I get a toll charge for $5 each time I went through the toll, plus $10 per day if you go through the toll. UNBELIEVABLE! Poor business practices and they get away with this scam! Stay away from Dollar! They giveth on the front end, but taketh away on the back end. They say theyre doing ** a favor! I will not use this car service again.
