      In Nashville Tn Charlotte Ave location on July 26 2022 I left my jacket in the black jacket on the back seat in a Nissan Versa I went the next day July 27 to retrieve it NO ONE SAW IT and it had my jewelry inside the pockets. The manager went to ask the employees that clean the car did they find a jacket they said Quote the Versa is gone. I said okay who cleaned the car the guy look nervous and said there was no jacket. Sad world we live I will be making a complaint. Oh yeah Hertz pay for all them tolls I ran threw and parking tickets I got 🤛

      Let's you book and confirm online then when you show up at your scheduled time they tell you they don't have any cars. No reliability. Stuck 😫 in Hoover, AL

      I made a car rental reservation through ********* to pick-up a car at Hertz in Buford, GA on July 15, 2022 at 12:00 pm. I went to the store at 12:00 pm to pick up the car, and the store was closed. There was a sign on the door which said it was CLOSED ON SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS. Why would I have been able to make the reservation through HERTZ and PRICELINE in a time slot when the business was officially closed????? I had a family and business vacation planned to leave straight from the rental. I was extremely frustrated. We were very very fortunate and thankful that we were able to secure a last-minute rental from a nearby ********** store before they closed at 1pm on the same day. The rental at Enterprise was $200 more than the original rental at Hertz. Both ********* and Hertz refused to assist or help compensate the extra fees I accrued because of THEIR scheduling mistake which jeopardized my trip. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

      When I traveled to Denver Co on vacation, I hoped to have a relaxed enjoyable trip. My experience with Hertz falls into 2 categories. The first was with the representative when I picked up the car. The fees were increased by $185 for incidentals that were never explained when the rental was arranged. Then he tried to convince me that my car was too small for my golf clubs and 'offered' a car that double my costs. I could have fit 3 full sets in the trunk of the original car.
      He then pushed insurance for an additional $400 and simply did not care what I was interested in or my goal of not spending more than the already very high price. His sole goal was to double or triple my bill with Hertz.

      The staff handling the rides to and from the airport, however, were fantastic. They made it better overall. Unfortunately, due to the service from the desk representative, I will struggle to use Hertz again or recommend them to family and friends.

      I Received a car rental on 7/08/22 through 7/13/22 and was told by a Rep to expect 406.00 to be withheld from my account until the vehicle is returned at the HERTZ car rental location, clarksville Indiana as of right now I have Two separate charges a total of 700.00 charged by HERTZ on my Account and I haven't received a credit returned to my account, so as right now HERTZ Rental went back on their word.

      Heartz is terrible. The reservation was fine and the car was fine but they charged me $500 deposit, and they charged it IMMEDIATLEY. Then they hit me with another $100 after I dropped the car off saying that was because the file hadn't been closed yet. Then the next day they charged me ANOTHER $100 with zero explanation. So all in all my less than 24 car rental cost me $1000. They are the worst and we will never go back

      Hertz is a joke. Had to have a rental because my 2020 Elantra was in the shop for a new motor. And since the dealership didn't pay them fast enough they proceeded to charge my card for 978.18 which threw my Cc into the negative bc I didn't have that much on there. To make a long story short had to cancel my card that had 5 bills that automatically come out so I've had to pay late fees on all them bills. He told me he would hand deliver me a check for the whole amount...well no he credited my card that I don't have only 975.00 instead of the 978.18 they charged me because friendship Hyundai didn't pay their bills on time. The gentleman was very rude and told me that he has already paid out enuff and that he wasn't paying another penny and told me I was playing the victim bc I didn't get the full amount back. I'm sorry but if I paid 978.18 I want 978.18 back. I'm already paying more out because I have to pay all these late fees on the bills that come out on my account. Would not recommend hertz at all very rude and disrespectful and they really don't give a *** about you too or your money. Very dissatisfied!!!

      Customer service nightmare. I booked a vehicle out of necessity because my personal vehicle broke down traveling on a family vacation from PA to NC. When I went online to reserve it stated that I had to call the location for availability. I couldn't reserve online. I called the location and asked them to hold the vehicle. Upon arrival, I asked to add my Gold Member Rewards and my corporate discount. The agent stated they didn't know how and I would need to contact Hertz directly. I had zero cell service at the Floyd, VA location so I called when we arrived safely in NC. The representative on the phone stated that there was nothing they could do to add the info after the fact because I was under a live contract. Then I spoke with a different department and they stated that they couldn't apply it now but assured me the calls are recorded and that they would apply and refund after the completion of my rental. I just needed to call in after I turned in the car. I asked again, to make sure they would have a record of the conversation and they assured me they would when I called back in. After turning in the vehicle, I called into Hertz and was told there was nothing they could do because the contract was closed out. I asked for a supervisor. They told me I didn't need a supervisor. Then I demanded one and was told they'd call me back ASAP. I didn't receive a call for over 4 hours. At that point they told me the same thing. There was nothing they could do and there is no way to access the recorded calls. I was lied to multiple times by Hertz. Online, In person, through the call center (multiple times). The amount of hassle that I had to go through is despicable. I've contacted Hertz via Twitter. The asked me to DM the details. I messaged all my information about the rental. It has been over a week and I still haven't heard back. I am disgusted and astounded that they can get away with this behavior. Additionally, it is near impossible to reach a human being when calling.

      Be very careful. I went online, made a reservation and paid. I picked up the car, returned the car with no issue. I saw on my credit card that Hertz had billed me the original amount and then also billed a higher amount in addition. I called to inquire and they stated it was a mistake by the agent. They said they would refund the amount I paid online leaving me with paying more than my original reservation required. My main issues are:
      1) How do their systems allow for customers to be billed twice for the same rental?
      2) How can they not honor their original rental agreement?
      3) I rent cars occasionally and if I had not been comparing the rental dates, I would not have known I was being billed twice for the same rental.

      I have been a loyal customer with hertz; I rented a vehicle at the New Orleans Airport on 20 January 2022 (Rental # XXXXXXXX); upon receipt of the car, the vehicle was not clean to standards and smelled (poor quality has become the norm since the pandemic) but given the lack of cars available at that location and having arrived after a long flight I decided to take the vehicle and simply lowered the windows and went to a service station to buy glass cleaner to clean the filthy windshield.
      I returned the vehicle on the 23rd of January without further incident until This past May when I went to pick up a reserved vehicle at Hertz Falls Church VA location and was denied rental because I had been put on a "Do not rent list". I was shocked to hear this (inconvenienced by lack of transportation) and was given a phone number to call for Hertz Do Not rent"; they told me I had been added to this list because of a $325 charge for smoking in the car dating back to the rental in New Orleans.
      This was the first I had heard of this and was inconvenienced; I DO NOT smoke and certainly didn't in that vehicle; I have a flawless renting history with hertz on both my professional and personal experiences. I began calling to get this issue resolved in May and was initially told it would be resolved in 10-14 days. That did not happen; instead I began receiving calls from a collection agency. I told the collection agency I refused to pay the erroneous charges and hertz was resolving it.
      I called hertz customer service back and was told it would be taken care of, this was in May; I continue to receive calls and mail from this collection agency and they claim not to have heard anything from hertz. I called hertz customer service again this past Monday and am now being told that I had to " work it out" with the collection agency; I told the customer service agent this was unacceptable and requested a supervisor and was told I'd get a call within 24hr. Still waiting 110hrs later.
