      I have been sitting in savannah airport for 4 hours waiting for my 7 passenger car. It was rented over a month ago and I'm a gold member. Worse service ever!! If I didn't have 6 people I would have gone somewhere else. I will be sure to share this with everyone I can

      I rented a car at the Rapid City Airport. While me car was parked at the motel it was damaged by hale. I reported to hertz and my insurance company. My insurance company paid almost $5,000 for the damage but Hertz wanted me to pay over $2,000 for the loss of use of the car and administrative fees. The car only had some small dents from the hale no broken glass and it already had some hale damage it could have been rented and fixed at the end of the season. I will never rent a car from Hertz again!!!!!

      We Went to Hertz in west palm Beach florida we were about to get on a plane and I lost my license I had three small children and my husband like me I was so upset when I went to go rent out a car so I could drive back to New York Javier & Jhon so total control and found that a truck that was comfortable and safe for me and my family they made all of worries be OK I will never forget what they done for me and my family and I will forever be grateful for their kindness thank you again for being the best I will forever be a customer and be loyal to hertz because of these two men thank you

      I rented three cars from the Hertz location in Weymouth, MA while my car was being repaired after an accident. For the third rental I booked it online and received a rate of $49.56 a day. I had to extend it because my car was not ready. The place where my car was being repaired in Bridgewater MA is a Hertz dealer so when my car was finished they told me I could drop off my rental there, When I received my bill for the rental I was charged $118.14 per day. I called Hertz about this and they said that since I dropped it off at a different location it voided the rate I got on the contract I received online. This is terrible business and I will never rent a car from this place again.

      The cars are not maintained! I rented a car, and while driving, I ran over a nail. When I took it to the tire shop, the tires were so bald, they would not repair the tire and I had to buy a new one. I assumed. hertz would reimburse me for the tire, but guess what?! They told me that since I ran over a nail while having the car, they would not reimburse me! How is there any logic to this?? The car had 30k miles and the tire shop does not believe they EVER put new tires on it, but SOMEHOW I am responsible for purchasing a new tire?? Seems like a sneaky way of making customers pay for maintenance. Rotten place!!! Stay clear!

      I had arranged to rent a mini van from Hertz to take my kids on vacation fir a week. I lease & my car is too small to transport everyone & everything. My itinerary told me to pick up my vehicle at 7am. When I got there the location was closed & wouldn't open until 8! I called the airport location, which is where I originally was supposed to pick up the car & is advertised as open at 7am. I called at 7:15 & got hung up on by a rude employee who's computer wasn't up yet , even a jalf hour into being open, this person hung up on me 3 times in a 20 min period. I then looked up the national number & called them but was met with more opposition by a foreign customer service entity. Well, finally 8am came & I get a phone call from the clerk inside stating that she's the only employee there & my car won't be ready until 9am!! Ugh!! Long story short, I got such a bad run around & treated like a piece of garbage by their more than rude employees in all three branches, that my agreement fell through & my families vacation was ruined! I planned this for months as a graduation present for my daughter who wanted to visit Ft Leavenworth, KS where I was stationed during my time in the Army. Way to make my daughter cry Hertz! Ill never use them again & I'll forever make sure no one I know uses them either. If I could give them negative stars I would!!

      Requested return of personal property left in Hertz car rental. Left message and called on April 25, 2022 (office closed on weekends). I was told IPad was found and I would be contacted in a few days, after getting approval from a supervisor. I was not contacted. Afterwards office was temporarily closed. I filed forms via internet for my property to be returned, I was notified by e-mail (May 6, 2022) that a Customer Service Rep. would contact me within 7- 10 days (not contacted). I called various times and just kept getting transferred to the lost property section (no one picks up). Note: Lost and Found Items are sold if not claimed. A simple return has turned into a nightmare. This has caused me much frustration and distress. This was the second time I have obtained a Hertz car rental. First time "Great", second time "Almost Great" due the above. As of this date No Response from Hertz.

      I Rented a car from Hertz on 3/25/22 - 3/27/22 reserved on line with the amount total 293.92 return the car on time full of gas on 3/27/22 my credit card was charged 293.92 as the rental contract stated the next day Hertz charged my credit card with additional 352.89. Tried to contact the customer service could only get a automated system letting me know you have to contact your credit card provider to get additional charges removed. I went to my bank with all of the rental information from Hertz in 30 days the charges were removed. Now keep getting letters from Hertz that I owe 352.89, contacted a rep. on the 1 800# who was rude said she could not clear up this issue, then receive a letter saying my rental privileges are cancel. This is the worst company to rent a car unfortunately after I rented the car there was a report on the news that Hertz rental overcharges, was hoping I would not be one of there victims but I am, I would not advise anyone to rent a car from Hertz

      Terrible Service. They advertise cars for sale then tell you that for 2 weeks the car will be tied up by their service department doing maintenance. In reality they are renting out the cars and they won't let you look at, drive or even access many of the cars on their inventory as they don't have them available. Very rude and poor customer service. The sales agent sat on her **** when I arrived, too lazy to even get up. I think her name was Mariela. She then proceeded to show zero interest or care and then told me I could not look at the two vehicles I had seen advertised on auto trader. I would never do business with this two bit poor service outfit ever again. AVOID. AVOID AVOID HERTZ CAR SALES IN ORLANDO. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FRAUDULENT ADVERTISING.
