      I was misdiagnosed in the begining by ************* the Office staff moved appointments without consulting or informing me, I ***** had nothing but problems and over billing.

      Definitely steer clear of the Gladiolus location. Cant speak about others. Husband went there for a PET scan that showed cancer was spreading. They suggested low dose chemo to see if it would slow it down. Said IF it was successful, he might be a candidate for immunotherapy. Chemo didnt work, he was already a victim of terrible treatment at ******* and was run down, 80, with advanced stage cancer. ***** just made him suffer worse, unnecessarily!! THEN, we get a call from them wanting to schedule immunotherapy. I asked why since he was not a candidate and the doctor, who we never spoke with before, said oh, we could give it a try anyway!!! At $14,000 a shot, I know why they push it. *********** was calling the shots for his care and explained immunotherapy is ONLY for early to maybe mid stage cancer and ONLY in those patients healthy and strong enough to withstand the effects. **** said it would be cruel, unnecessary suffering for a man who had suffered enough. ******* would have given surgery till he was dead, and Fla. Cancer would have pumped him full of drugs causing a far worse end than he had. Thank God for Mayo. I know its far, but do what you have to to stay away from these places in south Florida. They are just money machines with absolutely no consideration for what they inflict upon you. They know people with cancer are searching for help and they take advantage of that. Its inexcusable. I dont know how these people live with themselves. The only thing I hope for is some day they get to be on the other end of that kind of inhumane treatment. Go to ****!!!

      If I could give them a zero, I would. It took this practice over 72 hours to respond to a patient being hospitalized. The doctor who did respond said he just heard about the call that morning. It was 8pm when he showed up, well after visiting hours, so no family would be there when he showed up. He says the on call doctor - get this- does not ever visit the hospital. If you want your loved one to die, see these people. If you dont, please go any where else. ANY WHERE ELSE!!!!!!

      Florida Cancer Specialists is the worst experience I have had since I was diagnosed with stage 3/4 cancer 3 years ago. I retired a year ago and moved to SW Florida . My 1 year here I would attend this center for once a month for treatments at this center, there just terrible! Poor attitudes, over charging, no Doctor visits, just PA visit! Done ! Best change every was going to ******* for my Health and my money !

      They used to be great! They helped my Mom and my iron levels, then all their Doctors left and the service was terrible. The people that were not new continue to be great. But they are now over booking so appointments are a couple hours behind and the nice lady at the front cannot do anything about it. I would look some where else before I went here again. Getting lab results, which are important. Are taking 6 weeks. That is not good enough for me. Plus, they do not answer the phone at corporate.

      It really is quite a shame. Over charged, double billed, bullied and forced to leave without my port flush....I am done here. Word of advise GO SOMEWHERE ELSE although the Dr.'s and nurses are great they are limited by the overall lack of professionalism along with over and double charging happy billing department. Next I will complain to Attorney General and ************************* Horrible place. I have nearly identical experience with this place as stated in previous reviews here on BBB. It really is a shame. I had to call nearly 10 times to get through to medical professionals at this place. Not because I started with an angry tone but because one of the receptionist (******) is upset that I made her look silly in front of her boss;office manager, when she approached a scared cancer patient (me) with her hard edges preventing me a discussion about urine in my blood with my nurse. Instead I had to yell it in front of everyone in the Reception Hall *********** humiliating. The security guard came out and with one hand on his gun said "I'm going have to ask you to step outside mame" He says this to me with my jaundice fat face and my frightened gaunt eyes. Thankfully, the Triage nurse came to my rescue. So now when I call if ****** answers she pretends she doesn't know it's me and leaves me on hold for over 5 minutes and then hangs up. This went on for over 35 minutes and 10 phone calls today. What kind of a medical practice is it when the patients are treated like terrorists instead of with empathy for a cancer afflicted community there are meant to serve??? A community of patients who are most likely frightened simply because we fight for our lives. I am so disgusted with this place.

      I was forced to pay taxes twice on my 5k sign on bonus. I still havent received a refund and its been over 6weeks! They lie in their interviews just to get bodys. They dont train their nurses.

      Dr L is unprofessional and has no ethics. He ovrecharges his bills even though insurance covers 100%. They’ll still bill for more money and try to get cash before billing insurance. The company has been sued for unethical practices like price gouging and monopolization of area services. He also has a false demeanor and quite frankly said he didn’t care if I was crying or not. His office doesn’t get back to you and screws up appointments and organizing with other services. I don’t recommend this practice and feel empathy for other patients who think they are getting care from a provider who is self serving.

      Seems like every branch can't keep up. Always have to wait at least an hour past appointment time to get my treatment. Why make appointments that they won't meet?
