On 9/9/244, I booked a one way flight to ****, AZ for my husband. I saw that it was non cancellable/refundable and saw that it didnt include luggage. I didnt think anything of the no luggage since a lot of times you have to purchase luggage and in some cases carry on. I cant recall the exact price but it was around $240 one way from *********, **. After purchase, I waited a few minutes to receive my confirmation email. I didnt receive that email, but instead received an email stating that they had been trying to call and needed a call back. (Note: I gave my husbands phone number but he was at work and wasnt able to take the calls and likely would not have picked up an unknown number).I called the number and spoke with a ***** *****. He again confirmed that the non cancellable/refundable and no luggage, but then further explained that there was no option for any luggage or carry on and it was STANDBY and there were others ahead also on standby. I did not see anything that indicated I was purchasing standby ticket. My only other options were to fly regular (another over $400) or to fly out of ******* (over an hour drive south). He gave me the price with airline fees and taxes. However, upon seeing breakdown those extra fees were this company not the airline fees/taxes. This was an absolute bait and switch! This wasnt me ordering and getting confirmation email and then me not understanding and calling and asking questions. This was me ordering and them calling me to basically say gotcha and you have no choice but to pay more money and this was the only way they get their money. The confirmation email did not break down that the fees were for this entity and not *****************. I did not know this until I saw my **** bill. This is absolute poor practices, again bait and switch.I am not disputing the fee with *****************, just the additional amount that was charged to me by a company that lures you in and sticks it to you.Initial Complaint

I was doing search for tickets and never authorized a charge for the tickets. Once I clicked, I thought I would get the estimated totals for the tickets, to then decide to purchase or not. According to them I purchased tickets. They keep calling me asking me to return their call to confirm tickets. 1. My credit wasn't charged, thank God. 2. I called the airline that they said had my tickets, they did not. 3. Their accent was extremely strong, and I could tell they were calling from other countries but with American names (fishy). I continued to reply and tell them to send a confirmation if this was legit? They never did and continued to say I needed to call them. I said no and that anything they needed to say, they had to put in writing. Finally I said I would get a lawyer involved. This business should not be allowed to operate!Initial Complaint

This company advertised on cheap *********** with competitive flight prices. Flights by dates and times to locations with prices were listed. I specifically choose a flight that fit my schedule and agreed to pay the price listed. I received a phone call after the booking from this company telling me my flight is not available. That this was a promotional deal, and it was no longer available. The man on the phone at that point tried to get me to commit to another flight for the double the money. He dropped my call three times during this process. He tried to get me to change my vacation day flying in and out. He kept going in circles with the cost of baggage and extras he was finding me good deal compared to other airlines. I told the man no many times that I was not willing to change my planes. If they could not provide me the flight that i had booked i would require a refund. The man kept telling me these where nonrefundable tickets. I replied back many times with i agreed to buy the ticket time and dates of my choice. If they can't provide that time I wanted my money back. he then tried telling me it would be a credit with ***************** only. I agreed that I would live with that, but I did not want this company to have my money. This gentleman on the phone kept trying to talk me into spending 2x the amount of money. I felt extremely harassed by them. I could see how some others could fall victim of this scamming company. I asked him how they could advertise these flights if they were not available. the flight i chose was not the only one. There were dozens of flights at this price.Initial Complaint

Ordered 3 round trip plane tickets for a total of $2,500. Was contacted via phone shortly after booking by a gentleman who wanted to review their restrictions. He reported that the tickets do not include carry on or checked baggage. I was happy to pay for checked bags separately. He explained that to be able to pay for checked baggage we would first have to pay an additional $4,700. Was also told we cannot be refunded the original $2500.Initial Complaint

On August 25, I went online to look for 3 tickets round trip from ******** to *****. I found 3 tickets for $1309.35 from a company call besttickefare. 10 Minutes later I receive a phone call from the company stating that these price does not include carry-on bags and chairs on the plane were not guarantee for the date and time , therefore this person whose name is ******* ****** Told me that I have to pay something extra in order for me to allow carry-on bags and confirmed seats on the plane . After all these I asked to cancel the whole transaction and he told me he was not allowed to do it , he said instead he would give me credit for me to use it in future flights . After I insisted he said he would return part of the money, but not all because there would a fee for me to cancel the transaction ( even though it was made 10 minutes before ). With all the pressure that was put on me by him I just wanted to solve the problem and have seats and carry on luggage allowed because I had already a hotel reserve that wasnt allowed to cancel. I didnt want to lose all my money ( hotel and flight )They even modified my itinerary ( time )stating that the flight back to ******** was changed , at one point he said he would reserve the seats for me on both flights . ( apparently he did and gave me the seats numbers that were not accurate when I arrived at the airport) When I contact *****************, they told me that all their tickets even the cheapest ones were allowed 1 carry on bag and seats ( this is how I find out. On 9/2/24, I completed flight itinerary with this business for $412. Done. Today, I received a call that the seats were not available, and I would be able to pay $1,083 for the same flights with a seat assignment and luggage. After speaking with the supervisor, he tried to tell me that we did not buy tickets, we just bought a promotion. If we wanted to change the dates of our flight, it would only cost an additional $380. He blamed ***************** for the price change. I can still go to ********'s website and purchase the tickets at $138 per ticket. This business is a complete scam. Do not use them. I wish I would have checked BBB before communicating with this company. Never use this company. My blood pressure and anxiety are up from attempting to resolve the situation with their staff.Initial Complaint

I booked a trip online. I canceled and did another one. The people called me and said that I had two trips going and that they could refund them. Then they tried to up my ticket to ******* and then to ******. When I told them I would just keep the ****** one and do everything else at the airport they said I couldn't do that and they were gonna charge me for both tickets (even though cancelled). Made an airline ticket reservation on 8/26/2024 through *************************** for $321.89 for a roundtrip flight with ***************** Economy ticket. Reservation# *****. The site stated "no bags" but there were no additional details. I tried to call to confirm that they meant checked bags but could not reach them. So I checked directly with ***************** and all of their tickets including Economy get a free carryon bag. I received an email that no tickets are finalized and it would not be issued until I was charged. I would get a confirmation email when it was finalized. It also noted that tickets are nonrefundable.Within 3hrs I received a phone call confirming the details and when they mentioned no bags, I mentioned that does not align with the type of ticket they said I was purchasing with *****************. They also then stated, that I could not check in for the flight online. I advised at that point to not book the tickets and cancel. I advised it seemed extremely odd and too risky for me. I was then offered an upgrade at double the price and higher than I would pay if I booked directly with American. I again asked them to cancel. They said they would still charge me. I advised that they did not disclose that I could not check in online and that's a deal breaker.I then called *****************, and they did not have a ticket purchased for me so this should be cancelled at no charge. I have not received an e-ticket so no purchase has been made on my behalf and I want the transaction voided with no fees.Initial Complaint

I went online to book three tickets to ***********. This business had the best rate. It appeared to be a legitmate business (asked for the information it should regarding passengers, etc.). We tried reaching you a couple of times regarding your reservation. Please call us at *************** , any time. We are happy to help. Thanks And Regards ?******* ******** *************** Already, this looks out of the ordinary. I did immediately call because I had provided my credit card information. They immediately told me that I could not choose seating (that was ok), but no luggage? What? They said for an extra $250.00 a person, they would allow that. I said no. I do not want to do that. She told me I could not cancel. I said that is exactly what I am going to do. I cancelled my credit card. They had not yet authorized any amount (thank heavens).This is a scam. On 8/21/24, I found a ticket on this business website 'Best Ticket Fare'. I know that I double triple checked the date out, when I received my email which only said it was 'processing' my transaction, I called them right away. They wanted double the price to change the date of my ticket, even the same day ticket with a later flight they wanted $500. I was then told my flight did not include baggage and I would not be able to take a bag unless I purchased a different ticket with them, which was another $200. By this time with all the 'extra' money they wanted, I felt like I was being scammed. These people did not speak English well. I felt so uneasy I looked on BBB and they had an F rating and nothing but complaints against them. I called my bank to let them know and that I would dispute any charges they tried to take out of my bank account. This company is so fraudulent, why are they still running and in business!!
