TLDR:meta.bestticketfare.com is a bait and switch scam company that advertises a very low price, gets your information, calls you to let you know that your airline ticket comes with restrictions (not shown on website) and when you inquire about what the restrictions are, they say you can have no personal item, no carry on luggage and you cant check any bags at the airport. They say it is because they are restricted seats. I told them airlines dont have restrictive seats and I wanted to cancel this transaction. They said that I would not be able to do that. Their website says you can cancel within 24 hours. It was less than two hours when I said I wanted to cancel. My credit card was charged $414.42. I have put in a dispute for this amount. I continued to tell them to cancel this purchase and they continued to say they were not going to. They kept coming up with different amounts for the fare to lift the restrictions. One figure as high as ***** + dollars. My husband is a disabled veteran that requires a scooter to travel. I feel that we have been victims to this companies deceptive practices. I just want my money back and someone to shut them down. I read they have been in practice for three years. It is hard for me to believe that no one has shut them down.Initial Complaint

this company said that i could but tickets to ****** for $638 for x2 roundtrip tickets. i waited for my tickets and then they said you have no reservations you are on a waiting list with the airlines and they will let me know if i Have tickets 2 days before departure. I said No I bought tickets and i want my tickets now or my money back they told me no your tickets are not refundable i said where are my tickets i don't have tickets i want my money back and he told me calm down and he will figure this out with his supervisor. He gets on the phone and said i found you tangiable tickets but the will cost you $1900 I said what are you kidding me. He said the good news is you can minus the $638 and pay another $1200 today and you will get real tickets. I laughed and askiing if he was jokiing and he said no we get to keep your $638 if you don't do it. On March 8, 2024, I made an airline ticket purchase online with the company of Bestticketfare.com. It was in the amount of $522.72. This was charged to my credit card and they were paid. I called on April 30, 2024 to pick out my seat. When I tried to this, I realized I did not have a confirmation number so I called to speak to someone ***************). I spoke with ***********************. He told me that I did not have a confirmed ticket and was on standby which I didn't understand. He then told me i had to pay for a new ticket and the price was for $1038.75. He told me that I had not confirmed with them after several phone calls ( They never left a message for me). He also mentioned that emails were sent to me and were under another man's name. When I skim through my emails, I never open one if I don't recognize the name. He said the business name was on the emails, but when I checked his email the only thing that came up was his name. I had to rebook because I needed the tickets for May 3rd. I also spoke to his supervisor but he gave me the same run around. I have purchased many tickets online and never had to confirm my tickets by phone or email. I sent the email I received on March 8th and he said this was only an acknowledgement email. I have sent you the emails I received from this company. When **************** called me back, the notice of his phone call was Jasper Travel ***************). I did not recognize this name because I purchased through Bestticketfare.com. I would like to be reimbursed for the the original purchase on March8 in the amount of $522.72 I read the original email and could not find anything about confirming by phone or email. Found flight for my family with this company. My credit card was charged and then I received a call that we would need to pay more to upgrade our seats, or pick a different flight. The flight they suggest would make us late for our event. We were told we cant get a refund, but we can pay more money to upgrade our seats. On April 24,2024 I bought two tickets from bestticketfare, to attend my grandson graduation. I received a confirmation email that booking was progress for the $****** that my two tickets cost. About two hours later I received a call from the company to make sure that I knew the restrictions.*Please note that these restrictions were not stated on the website that visited. I was informed that I could not take luggage, which would include a backpack, but could take a 6 pound purse. Also, I could not select my seat and my companion may be placed on a different flight. The other restrictions were that I cannot sit with my companion and that the original price did not include my companions ticket. However the email confirmation showed both travelers for the price listed with both names included. When I called to complain, I was informed that I could get two tickets that would allow me to bring a carry-on, a personal item and I could select the seat for $1,555.99. At this time the issue has not been resolved. I have not received airline confirmation and am out $945.40. I have no idea how the ****** that I agreed to turned into the $945.40 that was charged to my ***** Furthermore the customer service representatives were difficult to understand, rude and argumentative. 04/22/2024: bestticketfare: Cheap Flights bestticketfare.com within 2:00-4:00 Central time Booked a roundtrip flight, then saw that they did not actually give me an itinerary, but went ahead and charged me. I called them. They refused to refund me my money. They canceled my booking, did not give me an itinerary, and refused to refund. I have filed a scam alert with my bank and they are blocking the payment and issuing another card. The bank, USAA also mentioned that they charged with a completely different airline; not united, but American, and then set up a monthy payment like a subscription. It took me hours to get this mess settled with my bank. Somebody needs to shut bestticketfare down!Initial Complaint

I bought a plane ticket from these people (booking number is *****). I paid online and expected to receive an e ticket to my inbox. Instead I got a phone call insisting that I will need to upgrade the ticket and if I cancel they will not refund my money. I said no I will just take the ticket as-is. After a long argument they agreed to send my ticket. Today they called back and said the flight was full and I'd have to fly "Stand-by" or upgrade my ticket. I said no to which they argued again and threatened to cancel my flight and referred to their "no refund" policy. I hung up and called Alaska airlines and they said the flight was not full and their was no reservation made in my name by any third party. I talked to ****** and they said that this was a scam. I had to cancel my bank card and that is going to be a hassle but hopefully they won't get my money.Initial Complaint

Purchased an airline ticket online from Best Ticket Fare for $182 for a one way flight. After it was booked was told someone would call me to confirm the flight. When the call came in the representative could barely speak english and I needed another representative to understand the instructions. That is when we were told there was no cancelation of the flight, there was no carry on capability and no way to pay extra for a seat assignment. None of this information was provided prior to booking the ticket. They stated we would get an email within 24 hours confirming the flight. This email never came so called the 1 800 #. The representative stated they would have to call us back because she needed to look into the reservation #. When the representative called back they stated that I didn't actually have a conformation that my ticket was a standby seat. This also was never stated anywhere prior to booking. I needed this flight and would never have booked a standby flight. The representative argued with us and said it was all stated prior to booking. It was not, have read the description multiple times and none of this was stated. This company is defrauding its customers and selling services and doing nothing. They need to be shut down so they cannot take advantage of other people.
