I have been without email service since October 3. It now October 8.There apparently has been a major software upgrade to their platforms that did not quite go to plan (well i hope that wasnt the plan as i have seen many other similar complaints on line). Was told by support that my ticket (issued after several calls on Wednesday?) was escalated to high priority (Thursday?) and was being worked on 24/7. Today Saturday a manager told me the back office support was off for the weekend- thats not 24/7, and it is interesting that with so many problems being reported after a systems upgrade that the employees who could fix the problem would be off for the weekend. This gives me pause about the commitment to customer support. ******************** rating aside, judge for yourself whether you could afford to rely on a company with this level of commitment to their customers.Network Solutions

Network Solutions support and follow up ***** and has been horrible!!I have paid money for website migration and hosting upgrade and now suddenly everything stops working!!website and email...they say they successfully migrated my 15 year old website to a new server to make it faster and now h*** breaks loose...EVERYTHING STOPPED WORKING!!There is no one to complaint about...no supervisors...is anyone from the company paying attention...Every time I call, they open a new I ticket, S ticket and mytimesupport tickets and nothing is connected. So I have to tell the story from beginning again and again.Network Solutions should NOT be in this business, if they cannot do it right! They charged me $250.00 for WebSite and Email migration and now NOTHING WORKS!!I lost $250,00 and also lost the website and emails STOPPED working because they messed up with the migration and I've been struggling for over 4 weeks to resolve this issue.BBB should take action on Network Solutions.Thanks,-JPNetwork Solutions

We apologize for the inconvenience experienced with this process and we can confirm our support teams have communicated with you on the matter, under the ticket I-*******. Due to the original website being built by a third-party vendor, our support teams were unable to complete the migration on your behalf without the original developer's information or code. We can also confirm our support team spoke with you directly and the original website for smartformulator.com has been restored. Additionally, they have provided a refund for the $250 charged prior to the migration process, and please allow five to seven business days to complete. If you require additional assistance please feel free to reach out to support.Review fromdavid m

I also have experienced a significant decline over the last 9 years as a customer. I spend monthly for the service and other fee for mytime support. This isn't mytime support. It is "their time" support as in getting around to fixing things as they find time. There is too much noise in the background on the calls and i also struggle to understand the English. One knows when a company's support team isn't good is when the subscriber (me) ends up telling NS what to do.This week, after 2.5 hours, yes that's right Mr. ******** IS *** THIS MONTH". Settings for my emails have change three times over the period and only just now, do i see yet another change. I only saw it by mistake. Not very well advertised.Customer support from whatever site of country are rude people. They cackle in the background so you can never quite hear what they are saying to you. After my LAST TWO AND A HALF HOURS THIS WEEK ON THE ****** listening to this hen talk, I half thought I'd see pictures on my screen of two dozen eggs. Hens laying eggs and cackling. I am seeking other pastures soon. They either need yet another *** or the *** needs to talk to some of us. Very sad and disappointing. You will receive 0 stars if it were mine to give. Awful. Awful. Pitiful for what I am paying. I am so angry that I find it difficult to type the words I want to type. Adios NS.Network Solutions

We appreciate your feedback. It is our commitment to our customers and industry standards to maintain our email platforms security. This requires updating the security certificate for our mail servers, which in turn, *** require you to update your email settings. We communicate these changes through the primary email address you have registered with your account. We provide detailed instructions on how to make these changes, step-by-step with pictures to make it as easy as possible for our customers to update their settings. If necessary, we have paid support to help with 3rd party email clients. We're sorry to hear this was the experience you had, but it is necessary to ensure our mail servers' security.Review fromCarly O

I signed up about a year ago for one domain. I have tried multiple times to cancel, discontinue and end the services. As others have mentioned, they have a death grip on you. I just want them to stop attempts to process my card and stop charging me. How can I do that? I do not want the domain. I do not want your services. I do not want to hear from you. How do I get it to stop? How clear do I need to be? I dont want to hear excuses. I just want to end the services.Network Solutions

Hello and thank you for reaching out. Cancellations need to be processed by physically calling our ****************** for North American clients. Once verified to the account as the primary account holder, you should be able to cancel any active products. If all you are wanting to do is not renew the domain, you can as well log into your account manager and just remove the auto-renew feature associated with the domain. You will still receive renewal notices from us that will continue until the domain expires, but if your intention is not to renew, you can just ignore those emails and let the domain naturally expire on its own after removing the auto-renew feature.Review fromBeth D

Network solutions when I started with them in early ****s was a great company, but now they are horrible. Horrible customer service from people struggling with English and the technicalities of problems. The company makes changes to the platform with no notice, and after HOURS of time trying to figure it out with and without their customer service folks, it turns out to be something they did and didn't tell you about. All I have from them is email--no website--they cannot get it right. And now they've added a ridiculous extension to the email name, when it used to be an advantage to be x @ yourname.com --- there is no reason to use this company. Horrible on so many levels. When you ask for a supervisor, they say "he'll just say the same thing I did," and more than once they've said "that question is beyond my 'scope' but for $59/month we have more in-depth experts." To fix probs that THEY caused!!!!Network Solutions

I have been trying to move our business account away from Network Solutions. They have a death grip on our account and every solution they send me to get this done ends up with a weblink that says: "We're sorry, but we cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later or return to ************************ is the worst and holds you captive. DO NOT USE Network Solutions!!!Network Solutions

My family has been with Network Solutions and Web.com literally for decades. My father's website and email are hosted through Web.com. I moved him away from Network Solutions in 2008 because we had so many issues with **. They of course merged in 2011 and now he is being forced to move to ** and we are both having nothing but problems with email and hosting.Web.com did not notify my father that his web hosting and email services had expired. He no longer has access to either. I am the person who has done the "back end" things for him over the years. He was forced to move from Web.com (a legacy account) to Network Solutions. I wish I had tried to handle this earlier, but he spent over $800 on a new hosting/email package plus $140 for ********* ******** Of course, no one could help him.We are stuck in a loop where he has to unlock his domain from Web.com for it to be transferred to **. He can't access his account or email to do that. We are trying to switch the primary email contact to mine. We were told to upload three documents to the ** site to prove ownership, including a notarized letter. We gathered all the documents and tried to upload them but the form is broken (it requires 4 documents, by the way). I literally had to spend an hour on the phone with customer service trying to upload the forms and it was eventually escalated after I sent them a screenshot of the error report. My father is 82 and would never have been able to navigate all this. We are trying to transfer the domain from one company owned by another company and literally can't do it because we can't get it unblocked because of their own broken form.If you are thinking of opening an account with Network Solutions...RUN AWAY!! They are currently completely broken and will charge you tons of money to NOT help you. A few tech people understand what is happening but it's like playing Russian roulette when you call. I think it might be easier to win the lottery.Network Solutions

Network Solutions is the worst domain/email provider I have ever come across! As mentioned by another reviewer, when they changed their platform a few weeks ago, it took me literally over 20 hours to fix the mess they had created. Then today, I stopped receiving emails from Network Solutions. After hanging on for 35 minutes before someone answered, I was told this was the fault of MS ******** and that they're not responsible for someone else's software. When I said I had the same issue with my email apps from Apple and ******* the person's tone changed and I was placed on hold. When the representative came back, she told me that Network Solutions was having a "problem with their revised platform" and it would likely take ***** hours to fix, so I asked to speak with a supervisor. The representative said a supervisor would call me in 4-8 hours, which of course never happened. Please note that what's covered above is just the tip of the iceberg of what I've encountered with Network Solutions. Besides have ongoing email issues, I have been charged for services I never ordered. One time when they admitted this was their mistake and I would be reimbursed, they mistakenly took down my account, which it took 2 days to restore. Another time, they tried to charge me for fixing an email problem that they created.Terrible service, poor technology, and disingenuous business practices! Please stay away from Network Solutions so you don't encounter the needless issues I've had with the Company.Network Solutions

Avoid this company!!!!If you have an issue with your email then there is nobody to help you. I have been on the phone with the helpdesk in total for 9hrs. Different agents give wrong and contradictive information. Case numbers are not being followed up on. Total waste of time and in the end problems are not being solved. Please chose another company for your own peace of mind.Network Solutions
