Our dental coverage includes x rays and a cleaning. Dental One of Cross Keys charged us $125 for a "special x ray" without first informing us about the charge. No dentist had done that in 25 years. When I asked that the charge be removed they refused to do so and the office manager refused to give us her name. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID this practice They are dishonest and they lie.Dental Care Alliance, LLC

We take pride in providing exceptional care and it's important to us to provide transparent billing processes to all patients. X-Rays are part of a standard of care that provides the best comprehensive care to patients, and we only intend on taking the x-rays suitable for their individual dental needs. While we are unable to discuss any personal matters in an online forum, if there are any questions or concerns, we encourage patients to contact our office manager directly, so we can provide better support. 1 starThis dentist has very unsavory business practices. In the original price that was agreed upon for my wife, he wound up drilling out and filling four of her teeth and never explained why. What originally cost my wife $1,000.00 is now costing her an extra $1,500.00. Four visits in and he still hasn't completed the original ******* not use VA Smiles. They are a rip off.Review fromJudy D

1 starSTAY AWAY!! ******** office staff! I received a vague bill with no information on it. I called the office twice and no one from billing returned my call. Then I sent a note on the bill asking for the service date and services provided, the MANAGER returned my call, wouldn't let me talk and kept telling me "I do not need that information" and refused to give it to me. Then put me on speaker phone, because I told him I am not paying a bill when I do not know what it is for. I had to make multiple calls and emails to different people to find out what this bill was for. Two years ago my adult daughter had an appointment and her insurance company said they didn't receive the bill until after the 90 days, but then she did a three way call with the office who was supposed to resend the bill, then she never heard anything about the matter thinking it was resolved and now two years later they sent me to collections. It's not even my bill! She called the insurance company and the office never resent the bill.Review fromLori A

1 starHORRIBLE!! I went to the ********** location and had a root canal with ********************* He not only broke the instrument in my tooth, but he also hit a nerve/blood vessel when administering novocaine, leaving me with heavy bruising, soreness, swelling and a hard mass on my jaw. He couldn't care less!! He told me to find an endodontist to try and retrieve the instrument and if they couldn't, just to have it pulled. That is so ridiculous! The whole purpose of a root canal is to preserve the tooth, not lose it. Then, I called ****, the office manager, who is so rude and unempathetic, and I told her that I could not find an endodontist that takes my insurance and her response was that they aren't responsible because I signed a waiver???? I never signed a waiver. She does not have a clue as to how to work with the public. If you're looking for skilled dentists and a compassionate staff, stay away from this place! They are unprofessional, rude and lack compassion.Review fromJessica E

Our family has elected to terminate care with MAINSTREET CHILDREN'S DENTISTRY AND ORTHODONTICS Access to reliable healthcare, continuity, and communication are vital to meeting the needs of our family. We had been with the practice from 2012-2015,until our employment relocation. We were very pleased with the quality of care and mission of the practice during that time period. We returned to MD and elected Main Street practice for continuity of care and peace of mind. Since our return the quality of care has been less than desirable. There has been significant turn over on all portions of the practice from Orthodontists,Dentists,Hygienists,Staff likely stemming from poor business practices. Today, I requested a meeting with the office manager after showing up for a routine appointment for our three children just to be told the office had "cancelled" with zero communication beforehand. The office manager seemed reluctant to hold a private conversation to address my growing concerns. Nor did the office provide an alternative solution to have our children seen. I vocalized my concern with the degradation of access to health care, continuity in care, genuine concern for customers, communication, and reliability. My spouse and I have missed several days of work and loss to resources due to their 1.lack of communication 2.Ability to hire and retain employees 3.Commitment to honor scheduled treatment plans and appointment schedules. All of which elongate Ortho treatment plans, incurring more cost to our family. The managers response was I know and I hear you, I have literally tried everything,I know where we are headed, ITS A CORPORATE PROBLEM. He immediate response to deflect the Glen Burnie Office challenges on a corporation highlighted the managers lack of responsibility and genuine concern to address office challenges that will lend to their closure. While exiting the facility we encountered office staff who stated,"I don't even know why I am still here".Close this business.Dental Care Alliance, LLC

Our goal is to provide exceptional service and we understand the importance of clear communication and scheduling. While we can not discuss personal situations in an option forum like this, it is not common practice for our office to change patient appointments without proper notification and reasonable cause. We take all feedback seriously to ensure a better experience for all patients. Thank youReview fromJoanna and Kenneth m

My husband finally had his teeth removed from the oral surgeon. They also found 9 cavitys of which your dentist failed to assess with his exam. Honestly between the hygienist trying to rush thru a half treatment yet was gonna bill for a complete cleaning to your dentist canceling the day of the procedure to his error in removing the #4 tooth and now not addressing that he had 9 cavities besides the 2 infected teeth is malpractice as far as I can see. I will report all this to the dental association or whatever it is that you report all these mistakes to. I had to jump thru hoops when your office offered no help to assist us with the next step to get My husband the emergency services he needed to have them infected teeth removed. He has a history of seizures and all this stress to his body could hv caused him to seize. You had no problem billing the insurance of whom I will also report this to as well. Terrible unprofessional service and this will also be shared for other customers to read so they avoid this practice.Dental Care Alliance, LLC

1 starI was hired 9 weeks ago. I had no experience in a dental office setting. ************* never trained me, but said she would. I was terminated because she said I wasn't progressing well enough. The truth was she hired me to fill a chair, she found a person with experience and the next day I was out of a job. Further more, if DCA NEW SHE WAS TAKING CLASSES SO SHE COULD LEAVE THIS COMPANY they would terminate her asap.Review fromTW W

I was referred to Dental One Associates in Columbia MD. I received preventative treatments: cleanings, exrays, fillings. I quickly observed that particular location has very high staff turnover and poor poor poor customer services, meaning that more than half the times I have gone to appointments the dentist late by over 20-30 minutes without anyone acknowledging that the patient (me) is still waiting in to be serviced. That happened at nearly every appointment. In addition, the desk staff has a low tolerance for basic questions and frequently become attitudinal and dismissive. Dental One Associates in Columbia MD has owed me a $124 refund (that's my money) for nearly a year now. In April 2024, the office manager submitted the refund request, and here it is nearly July 2024 and I still do not have the money that is mine and needs to be released by Dental One Associates, aka, Dental Care Alliance, LLC I would never refer or return anyone to this dental provider (no matter which name they hide under). They give the dental industry a bad reputation and honestly does not seem to honor the hippocratic oath in medicine "Do No Harm". ** ******Dental Care Alliance, LLC
