1 starI was completely lied to at every aspect. The cost, the amount of stuff they would take, when it would be delivered. What a crock. US Movers showed up with a small truck, couldn't take all of my stuff, charged me 5000 dollars for what they did take. Didn't take all of the payment up front so they could hold my things hostage on the other end and make me pay an additional 1,000 before they would give me my things. When the mover unloaded them from truck, my totes and boxes were crushed, dirty, broken and some of them were wet. Three brothers told me my stuff would be there in five days. US Movers who they hired to do the job said it would be sixteen days and it was days and on a Sunday and Holiday weekend so I would be able to access my funds until Tuesday. Charged 100 for every 50 feet they had to move my things into a my storage shed. Then charged me 650.00 because he had to spend the night. He was shocked when I came up with the cash on Monday morning because everything was closed for the holiday. Who makes you pay cash instead of using a credit card. Someone who wants to scam you out of more money. So I ended up paying 6,000 to have half my stuff moved and it came in horrible condition. In addition I had to rent a Haul to take the rest of my stuff. Another 3,000 dollars. So what I thought was going to cost me 1800.00 ending up costing me 10,000. Don't use Three Brothers or US movers for anything, especially for your most precious possessions. Oh and when he got it off the truck. He literally threw it in the storage shed. Most of it was fragile. It was a horrible experience and I have been crying for days. The money I was going to use for a down payment on a house it gone.Review fromHeidi S

1 starThey contract out, they miss every deadline, the break your things. They lie about almost everything, they tell you you’ll get two trucks and only send one then up charge you extra, then finally send another truck a weeks and a half later while missing EVERY (and I mean every) deadline. They’re very good at breaking all your things, crushing your totes and boxes. Some of the things that they broke are actually impressive. Not really sure how they did it unless they were throwing the boxings or playing hockey with them. If there was an option for negative stars that’s what they would get.Review fromVirginia M

1 starI will never do business with 3 Brothers ever again. I was given a quote of $1,750 by Anthony **********, Director of Sales and Logistics. The itinerary was agreed upon in writing by Anthony. When the driver, named Andres, showed up, he loaded the furniture, then proceeded to tell us that it would cost us an additional $6K to complete the itinerary! To complete the initial part of the itinerary, we had to pay an additional $2,050 over the deposit I had already paid. I called Jennifer in customer service, but she confirmed what the driver told us. The driver told us that if we did not pay at least the $2,050, he would leave the furniture out on the street. This company needs to have its license to do business revoked! They operate a classic bait and switch scam.Review fromSayidah J

1 starThis company is horrible the customer service is unprofessional the mover name Bernard was very rude and unprofessional when he came in my house he initially told me that the move before me he packed their stuff on the van and took it off cause he didn’t feel like going to the drop off address in addition i was listening to my religious beliefs he asked was that my religion I responded yes he then proceeded to tell me that he just recently broken up with a high priest then after that he called the dispatch and stated that there was trash around the stuff that needed to be removed which was not true then he wanted me to sign a contract and asked for a zelle payment to then tell me that he couldn’t make my move after my belongings was already loaded on the truck they then proceeded to bring all my belongings back in the apartment and left with one of my racks I called customer service and they said that they were going to get him to bring it back when they came back they said that they left a blanket on the tv that they had to remove while removing the blanket they broke my tv when I spoke to the supervisor they told me there was no way to prove they broke it and couldn’t do anything about the situation I have pictures to prove my television was not broken at the time of moving it wasn’t broken until they came back to get the blanketReview fromsarah k

1 starThis service started off great, but the movers themselves gave me an extremely hard time. They were extremely rude, would not answer calls, hangup on me, provide incorrect delivery information and very unprofessional. The mover i would have to communicate with would actually yell. VERY unprofessional.Review fromCa M

1 starThis company made so many promises and did not keep one. They charged me 1,300 dollars for the move from Tn to Tx. A truck arrived (U-Haul) and they told me that I needed to pay them 3,000 dollars plus another 3,000 dollars at delivery. I had no choice due to my rental contract was expired. I was completely lied too by Three Brothers and their business transportation partner (**** ****** ** ********** *** - Doing business as ****** *********. Three. Three companies that took my money and lost some of my furniture. I called due to delivery dates missed and shipment arrived 2 months late damage and not complete. I called all companies with no success where they would hang up the phone on me. Stay away from this company because you will go thru complete hell with themReview fromRyan S

1 starAVOID THREE BROTHERS MOVING AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a terrible experience with Three Brothers Moving Company during my move from Fort Myers to Tampa, Florida. I was quoted $1,500, but the issues started when the movers showed up 4 HOURS LATE on moving day, arriving at 8 PM instead of the promised 12-4 PM window. This delay caused me to miss my deadline to return my apartment keys.
On top of that, they charged me an additional $500 because I lived on the 3rd floor and had 12 assorted boxes instead of the 20 medium boxes they quoted. I had informed them about the 3rd-floor situation beforehand, yet it wasn't factored into the price. When I questioned the extra charge and asked to see the bill of lading showing the additional space my items supposedly took, I was told they "calculate by sight." No measurements were taken, and the price seemed completely arbitrary—especially since two of the movers admitted they had just started with the company.
The delivery was just as bad. They initially assured me my belongings would arrive in Tampa on 8/17, but then told me that date was just a "window." I had to pay an extra $300 to rent another truck to ensure delivery on 8/17, as I couldn’t be present and had arranged for a friend to handle it.
On delivery day, they hit me with another $675 charge because of the distance the movers had to carry my stuff—again, something I had disclosed beforehand (I live on the 5th floor). To make matters worse, my $300 dresser was completely damaged during the move, and when I called to complain, they refused to refund me, citing their terms of service. They even blamed me for not informing them about the 3rd floor, despite the fact that I did, as confirmed by a recorded call.
In total, I paid far more than the initial quote due to their incompetence and hidden fees. Three Brothers Moving Company is unreliable, unprofessional, and overpriced. Avoid them at all costs.Review fromGayathri D

1 starThis is not a moving company. It is a broker who writes up a contract they will then turn over to another company you never heard of. That company (****** ***** ******) will charge you by the cubic foot rather than based on the items on a list generated by 3 Brothers Moving. So they use a different math entirely. The second contract with the EJ Relocation would not answer the call and this is really frustrating. I am trying to file a complaint for lost box and also damaged goods without any response. I am unable to get the required documents to file a complaint for the past one month and this is really annoying and i am not sure whether i am getting the value for the money i paid.Review fromJames W

1 starIf I could undo working with this group I would. I feel totally robbed.
I spoke to a sales rep to get a quote to move my belongings from my 2 bedroom apartment in Michigan to a storage unit in Minnesota.
I gave a detailed inventory, trying to be as thorough as possible so that the quote would be accurate and I could budget appropriately. I was initially told that “no issue, we’ll be able to do this for ~$3,000.” I thought that was a fair price so I went ahead and put down an initial deposit of around $1,300.
4 days before the movers were set to arrive I get a call from a different rep wanting to confirm the inventory and location. THEY HAD EVERY DETAIL WRONG. So I painstakingly went through all of my belongings and the details of my home again. Suddenly my same amount of possessions are going to take up more space in the truck so my total cost is going to be ~$5,000 - but the rep gives me the assurance that the system estimates high and things will likely shake out to be less expensive. I’m stuck in a tight spot with a lease ending and a complicated cross country move so I pay an ADDITIONAL $1,500 deposit to break up the final bill.
Eventually the movers show up in their scheduled window of time but have no clue that I’m in an apartment with stairs or what the inventory of my possessions are. Turns out 3 Brothers is just a broker and they subcontract to whatever random group of dudes they can find.
When all was said and done my final out of pocket cost for this move was ~$8,500 - almost triple what I was originally quoted. I was hit with hidden fees for moving a washer and dryer (which I told the sales rep would be part of the move) AND I even decided to get rid of some possessions (bookshelf, sofa, 2 chairs) in hopes of driving the cost down when I saw the writing on the wall that I had been tricked.
THEN I got ambushed by the movers needing me to pay them directly via ******* because they can’t take credit card payments. That felt incredibly sketchy.Review fromMargaret H

1 starOne of the worst experiences of my life! Quoted 8,000 and then 3 days before the move a quality assurance guy called and we went over my inventory for the 2nd time and Oh, there was more than was listed initially and price wrnt to 13,000. Then, moving day comes and the guy who shows up with his u haul and then a Ryder truck and workers who didn't speak English. They talked in Spanish the whole time. Then my bill went up to 20,000. I feel like I was scammed. They lure you in with a low quote and then stick it to you with final bill. I feel helpless and my entire savings for retirement is paying 20,000 to move a 1500 Sq ft townhouse!! I think this is FRAUD. And that's my story.
