1 starThis was probably the worst experience I have had with any moving company my entire life. First of all they quoted me low and after I was good with the price and asked about hidden fees they said this was the final price so I put down a deposit. Then two days before the move they said they needed to inventory all the items and told me I had more than I originally thought so they almost tripled the price. I couldn't back out because of my deposit and they would not let me talk to supervisor. They promised to provide movers who put the furniture back together and move everything without me doing a thing. I'm a disabled veteran so I cannot lift much. When they delivered they showed up 5 hours late at 8pm. There was only one guy to unload the furniture! He was wearing flip flops!! He couldn't get the furniture in by himself and I had to help him with the furniture because those things take more than one person. My sofa and door frames were damaged in this process. He was polite but I felt sorry for the guy because the company only sent him and there was a big language barrier between us. He left around 11pm and none of my furniture was put back together and I was recruited to help unload the truck because there was no other option as he was debating leaving furniture outside. What company only sends one person to unload?? The sales team will con you into a price but that is the price that you are paying to essentially have them coordinate your move, you will then be paying another company to load, unload and deliver. All of my stuff came back smelling like cigarette smoke. I added trackers to my stuff and they told me it would be stored in a climate control building in Oregon. Which was another lie, it was stored in some warehouse in Alabama. This place will rip you off! Go with literally anyone else!!Review fromGinger P

1 starThis is not a moving company. It is a broker who writes up a contract they will then turn over to another company you never heard of. That company (****** ***** ******) will charge you by the cubic foot rather than based on the items on a list generated by 3 Brothers Moving. So they use a different math entirely. The second contract with the unknown company cost me about $1,100 more than the original contract with “Victor,” the salesman who won’t even accept your call later. He will transfer you MID-SENTENCE to customer service who has no idea what’s going on/ The second company also will not bring your belongings on the date promised; it will be nearly a week later, AND they will break something. Such a scam. Beware — run away!!Review fromKelly P

1 starAlthough their price was consistent with most others I got, their selling tactics were VERY high pressure. On the 3rd call back from them I had to block the number, then I emailed letting them know I had found someone to do the job. Two days later my phone rings and it's the same salesman from 3 Brothers. I didn't want to be rude but clearly by this point it seemed I had to be. I calmly asked for him to quit calling me. I'd like to add that I did have at least 3 phone conversations ranging from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. It shouldn't be this hard to manage this serviceReview fromRonald R

1 starThey tried to get more money from me at the time when their driver was picking up my furniture. I had already paid them. I fired them and asked for a refund, but they refused. This company cannot be trusted to complete the job.Review fromPatricia H

1 starIf I could give 0 stars I would. Eric with 3 Brothers Moving & Storage mispresented everything.
Eric told me my stuff was going to be in a temperature-controlled storage when all my stuff sat in a warehouse that I could not access. Eric told me the storage fee would be $120-150 a month. The storage ended up being $800 a month and ***** ********** ******** would not prorate the monthly charge when my stuff was in storage for 6 weeks. The first month was free.
Eric told me it was going to cost $4,200. I gave him an inventory of everything that would not fit in a box and gave dimensions of everything. I said I was going to have 100 boxes but only ended up having 70 boxes. I forgot a small plant table and a small bathroom cabinet when I was giving my inventory. It ended up costing me $6,068. When Eric with 3 Brothers had me sign the contract, I was shocked how long it was and asked if I needed an attorney to go over this contract with me and he said no I’ll tell you what each line is and you just sign it. I had never had someone be so deceitful. He lied about everything except the one month of free storage.
When ***** ********** ******** came to my house to move me, since 3 Brothers is just a middleman, the driver asked me to show him what I had. I went room to room and told him I had 30 less boxes than I said I would have. He said you forgot this and it ended up costing me $6,068. ***** ********** ******** had me sign another contract that was longer than the documents I had to sign to sale my old house and buy a new house. Unfortunately, I did not do my research as I was overwhelmed selling a house by myself and packing up a whole house by myself but I will forewarn everyone and anyone that will listen to me. I only moved from Dallas to OKC which is only a four-hour drive.Review fromDebbie T

1 starRUN RUN RUN.........THIS IS NOT A MOVING COMPANY AND IS JUST A SCAM. THEY ARE ISSUING CONTRACTS AND THEN SEND ANOTHER GHOST COMPANY, TO PICK UP YOUR ITEMS. WE GOT M & R EXPEDITE OUT OF KATY, TEXAS AND THEY DON'T EXIST EITHER IT TURNS OUT. BUT THEY SAID THE COST WOULD BE DOUBLE UPON SHOWING UP TO PICK UP. THEY ARE BEING INVESTIGATED BY A LOT OF GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND LAW ENFORCEMENT TOO AT THIS POINT. THEY INSIST ON CASH ON DELIVERY AND HOLD YOUR ITEMS HOSTAGE AND WON'T LET YOU SEE THEM UNTIL YOU PAY. ONE OF THE CHARGES CAME FROM HERMES MOVING AND STORAGE IN CALIFORNIA. THEY EVEN INTIMIDATE YOU BY SAYING THEY ARE RUSSIAN. THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU DOES NOT ALLOW A REVIEW WITHOUT LEAVING A STAR.....I WOULD LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THAT TOO. THEY SHOULD NOT FORCE YOU TO RATE A SCAM COMPANY LIKE THIS. THEY ARE THIEVES AND NOTHING MORE.Review fromDon O

1 starRUN. HIDE. DO NOT EVER USE. BIGGEST SCAM EVER. Quoted $3000, turned into $8,000. Sub contracted the move out with an unmarked moving van. Was supposed to be delivered that day. Over 36 hours later furniture arrived, did not know where our items were. No contact information of the actual people moving our items. Asked for more and more money in cash, paypal or venmo. Were rude, threatening.Review fromEllen A

1 starThis is an edited letter I sent to Three Brothers Moving and Storage. I would give them “0” stars!! Once they take your money, their costumer service is non-existent.
“I booked a move through 3-Brothers Moving and Storage. During the "estimation" process for my belongings, your representative did not ask questions regarding the sizes of my packed boxes, only the number of boxes. The estimate I was given was $3913.00. I made a deposit of $1937.00. I was told I would pay half of the remaining $1976.00 at pickup and the other half at drop-off. My pickup, by Good Moves USA was scheduled. The amount that the "mover" stated I would be required to pay was $7746.00. This was $3,833.00 more than the original estimate by 3-Brothers!!!! If I did not pay the amount, my possessions would not be moved and I would be out $1,937.00. This was devastating as it was not my fault that your estimation was incorrect. I was also informed, by one of your representatives, that I would be able to make payment through VENMO to Good Move USA. Incorrect!! The driver, after talking to his supervisors, said that they could take payment with a Credit Card, however, I would have to pay a 5% processing fee. This was unacceptable, as I had been ASSURED, that VENMO would be accepted. However, I wanted compensation for the 5% fee. The total was $144.27. I have not received this compensation.
During this whole process, and after my move, I tried contacting customer service MANY times. I left messages and no one would call me back! I can't express how disappointing this whole experience has been. I was told when I booked through you that I would be taken care of... I do not feel that I was "taken care of". It was a horrible experience!!
LESSON: Don’t use a moving broker, especially Three Brothers!!Review fromReginald S

I had my furniture picked up on June 9, 2024. I have already paid them in excess $1000. They packed then told me it would cost extra to move the Armoire. This was not part of the initial agreement. So I left it behind. They said it will be there by July 16 when I made the initial arrangement. They never arrived. I tried calling them multiple times and they never answered. I left messages and they never answered back. It passes 21 days and still nothing. I assumed my stuff is gone and won't arrive to Provo, Utah from Atlanta GA. I stopped making calls. They have the worst customer service and calling the 1800 number does not help either. They say they're not involved with that and I have to contact customer service. It sounds like they are at home answering a cell phone based on the background noise for customer service. After they get half of your money or 3/4 of it they disappear. They deserve a rating of less than 1. In addition , the customer service answers under a different company name.Review fromRygg C

1 starThis is not a moving company, it is a broker. Your move will cost 4x what they quote. They do not answer their phones once they take your money. They farm the job out to very low rated movers. It is a bait and switch. What they promise they do not deliver on. One star is generous.
