This company has scammed at lot of people. I could never get service where I live and they would tell me they were upgrading my service to work. IT NEVER DID. I finally went to change service and when **** went to load my information to port number, it wouldn't work because ***** lied about the information on my account. It finally got resolved and not by TWbyV it had to be done by ****. After getting my phone activated, the phone wouldn't work because ***** never unlocked the phone (already paid for) that I requested unlock 90 days after enlisting on TWbyV. I had an auto payment set up monthly. They would cut my phone off for no reason and I would be told that I never had auto ******* up...they would never admit to this. I would then have to set up auto payment all over again. There were times that I had no service and when I called, I was told there were issues and check my phone. This happened too many times with ***** and I now have service with **** that has worked out good so far. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THESE 3RD PARTY CELL SERVICES. The only customer service is by phone, and they don't know how to resolve issues and hang up on you. I would give this company a 0 rating if available and Verizon should distance this company....I will never use any verizon stores, phones or services.

This company is stealing money from customers by selling phone plans that are put in "Reserve" for when your current plan expires (example: current plan ends on Dec 4th. You purchase a new plan that will expire on January 3rd. On December 19th you purchase another plan and put it in Reserve for when the current plan expires on January 3rd and this should bring you to an expiration date of about February 2nd but then they apply it immediately changing you new expiration date to January 17th). I called customer service and they refused to let me speak to a Supervisor and told me that I should have called after I purchased the Reserve Plan, to be sure that it was in Reserve. There is no place on their website or app that informs a customer that they have to call and verify.

I called Total by Verizon 5 times to transfer my phone number to their company. The first time I called I was assured that the transfer went through. I was told I had to wait 24 hours for the transfer to be complete. After 24 hours unfortunately it did not go through. Once again I called, waited on hold, provided the same information they requested and was told to wait 24 hours. For the second time the transfer did not go through. I called back again and again and again. Still I have no service and the other night my frail father fell and broke his nose. Blood was gushing the ambulance took him to the hospital. Of course I had no idea because Total is incapable of communicating and have a grave lack of knowledge when it comes to transferring a phone number from Spectrum Communications. Above all, I purchased a $40.00 plus tax pre paid card from Walmart that can not be returned.

After receiving a threatening text from Total by Verizon regarding my auto pay I called them on Jan 8th **** and again provided my CC for auto-pay and all way well. The following morning another threatening text and this time my cell has been shut off! Again a call to Total by Verizon Jan 9th **** to resolve with the same CC. I'm told it was declined! I give the my debit and again all is well, so I think! I call big bank to raise h*** abt my CC being declined and it was Total by Verizon that declined it, not big bank . . . smdh Now I am not authorized on the network to txt photo's... over four hours of my life wasted with ******* to no avail. I think these a**holes just restricted my service from an old Total Wireless Unlimited for many, many yrs. I DO NOT recommend this bunch to anyone for any service!Capt *****

They are unreliable and hang up when you constantly. They refuse to transfer your manager Which is illegal. Then they tell you. A manager will call you back and they never do.

Worst company ever. I bought this phone because the box had Verizon on it so I thought I could get service with Verizon since I already have a Verizon account. But ********************** is apparently a company owned by Verizon so Total has the phone locked and will not unlock it so I can use it on my Verizon account. This is absolutely absurd. I had never even heard of Total before. So now I'm stuck with a phone I can not use.

I've had a family plan roughly 10 years and a few days ago after paying my monthly service I woke to my service still off. I called and spoke with a number of representatives an promised it was fixed but then awoke the today with 2 of the phones off on my family line. I got on another call with 4 representatives on 1/6/2024 and still nothing. I was advised I would have to pay an additional 110.00 to activate the other 2 lines. I was also advised she could only get a refund when all she wanted was the phones restored. I spoke with John who was not knowledgeable at all regarding the process and he kept me on the phone for 45 minutes after asking him a number of times to transfer me to the executive team to assist and after placing me on another hold he came back and said I am transferring you. This call had me extremely heated and to get to that department only to be hung up on. Then **** called me and he stated he was equipped to handle only to not be able to fix it. I called again and nicely advised the rep I was speaking with someone in the executive department and he simply transferred me. Then I'm on the phone with Victor he is the one that advised pay $110.00 to get them back on because you didn't pay the bill. I advised to him I did provided the information only for him to say he will be calling back in 15 minutes and still no call. This has been the worst experience. This company is literally hiring and not training anyone. Take money and not providing services per the agreement. No apologies. I called back and spoke with ***** and she advised all that can be done is I accept a refund for the total amount bc I paid for the wrong plan.

Terrible absolutely terrible. As it was the Christmas season I decided to purchase a pre paid cellular package for my nephew to allow us to stay in better contact. Me being a pre paid customer of Verizon Wireless for over 15yrs . I thought the new Total program to be worth giving a try. Unfortunately for reasons out of our control. My nephew became unable to receive the gift that I had purchased. In consideration of my nephew, along with the purchase of the new phone, I decided to invest in a pre paid card of high value . Being aware of the extra time it would be used because of it being something new to him.. Well as I had already mentioned, I had made a purchase in need of returning. Fortunately it had only been four days since my purchase with the local Walmart Super Center. The packaging of my products not being distributed even a little bit. I headed to customer service with the receipt in hand. That is when I was informed of there being a no return policy on the card that I had purchased with the phone. With an explanation from the manager that this was a policy that Total/Verizon had implemented, and it not being a Walmart policy. As my frustrations grew with the Walmart manager explaining to him that , this is Walmart and I have my receipt. He politely brought to my attention.the note on the back of the card states Non returnable. Yet forwarded me a customer service number to Total by Verizon . Allowing me to share my frustrations with them. I suggested to the Walmart associate that a notification or sign of sorts need be posted with the product making them aware of this, allowing for them to make their purchase only after being fully informed of the little note that Total by Verizon has posted on the back of their product. At this point I focused my energy to Total by Verizon and their customer service team. Which they informed me of them not being able to do anything for me with a suggestion of me trying to sell it on line of hopes to recover at least 50%

I have a iPhone 11 from another provider. The phone SIM is locked so one of the reps added my service plan onto the phone without the phone being unlocked. I asked ******* for a phone number to the phone after 1 hour trying to unlock the phone for service. Its been down to the last days of the used plan that they(TOTAL) have more than the right excuses to carry out with my 50 dollar plan that has yet to be used. While talking to ******* they(TOTAL) kept asking for last phone numbers within the last 60 days. They(TOTAL)have repeatedly suggested call backs( to no avail) Calling for the past month to get a new phone and SIM cards they were determined for a new purchase of a service plan. I hope total is not committing embezzlement with the customers. Rude service and unsatisfied customer
