Lennar was in the process of building our townhome in **********, **. All of a sudden we notice the work came to a ****. So about a month our neighbor who suppose to have closed Oct 2022 said she notice that somebody lunch has been sitting on the island for a month. Thats how she know no one was working on her place. We tried to contact the Consultant, but found out he quit. And we was directed to a guy in **. We tried and our realtor tried to reach the guy in **. Finally, our realtor who knew somebody who knew somebody gave her his direct number. This guy said he would release us through a Mutual Release. He stated that he would call us back in a couple of days to get the matter settled. We never heard anything back. Now we seeking legal advice because Lennar cant make us buy their home. The guy that quit said it would be finished in Jan 2023. The guy in ** said March 2023. Our loan will expire in March. So we dont want to take a chance with the Interest rate. Lennar should not continue to be in business with the 900 complaints they received. It is still mind boggling how these people are still in business. Lack of communication and unprofessionalism inspired us to not go forward with this company. If they would do this to someone who havent bought the house yet. Who knows what they would do when finished building our home. We dont trust their integrity. Im warning everyone I can to stay away from this builder. They dont understand word of mouth is a huge advertisement. But something needs to be done about this company. If I could give them (0) stars, I would.Lennar Homes, LLC

Lennar requested us to close our new house on 11/30/2022. We paid over 1 million in cash to purchase the house. The house was not ready. Lucky we are not in rush to move in. We spent the past two weeks chasing after the CS guy and construction manager to fix my house. I also found a water bottle with brown ish liquid inside left on top of my kitchen cabinet. Problems we found: 1. Big hole on garage wall 2. Multiple outlets were not installed 3. Fire place not working properly 4. Two big nails drilled out inside the kitchen cabinet. 5. Baseboard not completed 6. Balcony door was installed poorly, uneven handles, big gap on the screen doors when closed. 7. One bathroom fan not working 8. One ceiling vent and ceiling light were overlapped 9. Dryer vent was not connected properly 10. Tankless water heater was not installed properly. 11. One Cabinet shelf was fixed and installed the wrong way and not a even surface. Most problems are fixed but I had to text the PIC each day to make sure they do the repair. There are lots of small paint stain on carpet since they had to touch up many different areas after closing.Lennar Homes, LLC

1 starI own a property that i bought from Lennar at West field *******. The construction is substandard and there is a Gas leakage issue. Lennar already took several weeks but no resolution yet. 1 starIn Sept 2021 our decision to purchase a Lennar home was based on the quality and condition of the model homes we saw. Unfortunately, what we received was VERY far from that. A week prior to closing we walked through the property and ****ing everything that needed to be addressed. We were assured these things would be taken care of, unfortunately it seemed that all that was done was the blue tape removed. When closing weekend came in July 2022. When we arrived at the scheduled time of 12:00 PM there were still several trades working inside. The home was not clean and we were told the cleaning crew would be out later that day or the following day. The cleaning crew did come in on 7/28 at around 2:30 pm, we're not really sure what they did other than run a wet mop over the floor because the entire house was still very dirty. We spent the next 3 days cleaning grout and stains off tiles, wiping down cabinets, baseboards, doors. All the granite needed to be cleaned from silicone stuck on. While cleaning made a list of items that needed to immediately be addressed, it's unacceptable to wait 30 days for items that we previously ****ed. One item listed was our master shower, they were still grouting on closing day, the tile had grout all stuck on it all up the 10' walls. As we approached our 30 day **** the tile had still not been addressed so I reached out the the construction manager to schedule our 30 day walk. I was told that since I submitted a list of items we were not getting a 30 day walk. This is unacceptable since the items listed should have been done prior to closing. Now realizing the shower situation was not going to be fixed by Lennar anytime soon, my husband started cleaning it himself and unfortunately while in the shower on a ladder slipped off the ladder and broke his heel needing surgey. This never would have happened had the contractor been held to do quality work and the Lennar followed through with our 30 day walk and completed repairs timely.Review fromXx X

So many issues: HVAC, electrical, cabinetry, concrete work. Getting anything repaired is a huge battle. **************** is horrible. ****.***************@lennar, customer care representative, will look at an issue then not follow up until being reached out to again. Anything to not back up shoddy craftsmanship. For money spent, the quality is lower than subpar.Lennar Homes, LLC

We have purchased a home that we dont know when will be ready. We closed and now Lennar has no clue when the house will be done. We closed on November 30th and have to pay a mortgage payment in January for a home that we cant move into. Lennar has a shortage in supplies, personnel, and realtors that cant give you concrete information. We cant afford to pay a mortgage payment and rent. I guess well rent a Uhaul and move into it. They want you to move into a home that isnt complete. There will be no where to hang clothes or put food away in a pantry you own. They rushed us in to close and there were people there for at least 8 hours or more waiting on paperwork. Such a great disappointment when your expectations are not being met especially when you have to pay. Lennar isnt the place to build a home.Lennar Homes, LLC

We purchased a home in Storey Park and were promised during the sales process that Storey Park would be building additional amenities on the property. Not only did Lennar not deliver on the additional amenities but now they are planning to build apartment buildings in the community and completely disrupting the lives of the people who trusted lennar and purchased in this community. They are building a 400 unit apartment ****** in front of Storey Park, using the roads in the community, and creating a massive traffic issue for the people here. This is an impact to our property value, and our community. Shame on you Lennar for activity lying to people trusting you to deliver on promises you made when selling us homes.Lennar Homes, LLC

Let's face it not every house isn't going to be perfect, but when you're paying over $300k for a home with your hard earned money you expect to be as close to perfect as possible, you would think the builder would work toward making that happen. They're just worried about getting the houses up and don't care how sloppy the craftsmanship is. That's why they can't sell these homes now. Lennar at Dalton has gone through multiple customer service reps who are responsible for ensuring a smooth transition into your home and making sure everything within the first year gets fixed accurately and in a timely manner. I moved in Oct 2022 and it's been hell since as we've gone through at least 5 reps and issues that were submitted last year have just recently been addressed, fixed or told its too late or it pretty much does not matter. The left does not communicate with the right. They make promises they can't keep and they can't keep Rep's. That say's a lot about a company. This will def be my first and last home from Lennar :) Don't get me wrong the homes are beautiful, but when your move in date gets stalled 3 months, you get scheduled for your walk through and get a call 30min before that it's not ready and needs to be rescheduled and everything within warranty that needs fixed keeps getting pushed out and boom now it's no longer under warranty or they just want to be lazy and not make things right it kind of makes you regret your purchase ya know!!Lennar Homes, LLC

Lennar is building my wife and I a house in *******. When we started the process, it was a different company that Lennar later purchased. We gave ******* money in February 2022. There was no activity at the property for several months. We were initially told June. **** turned into July. July turned into August. August into September. September into October. In October, we were told November 23 would be our closing date. I notified my landlord and he has the house rented for December. I was just told today that my closing has been pushed back to some unknown date in December. Lennar is building another subdivision down the street from ours. Those houses are coming up faster than ours has in almost a year. Every time I call the company, I talked to new employees because the ones I was dealing with quit. I'm not sure why our subdivision has been so delayed when all the others are ahead of schedule.Lennar Homes, LLC

Lennar mortgage was absolutely the worst experience of my life and I hope you use me as a cautionary tale to NOT use lennar mortgage! I spent more than half of this year battling with them to get an approval. They were very disorganized, their portal is a joke, and I truly believe they discriminate against certain groups of people. I truly believe it is time to file a class action lawsuit against them because the injustices have gone on too long. The home itself was beautiful didnt particularly like the flooring but nice overall. After reading the reviews, I dont know how nice it wouldve lasted.Lennar Homes, LLC
