      I purchased a home in Gambrills, Md. It has been almost three years and I still have problems. All my doors on the second level of my home are crooked. I reached out to the builder representative and was told my warranty had expired. I sent an email to the regional customer care president and no response was given. The builder representative himself stated he didn’t know how my house passed inspection. I can’t the of repair tickets I have since the purchase. I only picked Lennar because the rating they were given as a builder. What a huge mistake. If you see a building sign with Lennar on it please run!!!

      We moved into our home the first week of August 2022 in Pawleys Cove. We noticed upon move in that our front pillar was hanging off of the cement slab porch. We were told that it would be taken care of. They instead wrapped it which made it look even worse than before. (I wish I could share a picture of the workmanship) The site supervisor was let go and now everything had to be handled through warranty. After numerous warranty requests (eventually they just stopped responding to my requests), I was told that because it was structurally sound, they were not going to repair it. It looks ridiculous! After further investigation, Our slab should have been poured to 5'5" and it is 5'2". ***** with Warranty was no help. I asked that the case be escalated to upper management. ****** called me and told me there's nothing they can do and spec on a home change because they "custom" build homes. I asked to speak with her supervisor. **** ****** (spelling?) called me back stating that they stand by there decision and suggested I go to Arbitration. After reading several Facebook posts regarding the absolute disregard to workmanship that people are receiving on Lennar homes across the country, I can't believe they are still in business. It would take less than a day to rectify this on our home, instead, we've been made to feel that it's ok and our concerns mean nothing. Warranty means nothing more than passing the blame.

      I recently purchased a home in ********************* and while the schools and the community are wonderful, Lennar was by far the worst experience I've ever had from beginning to end. The sales person , *******************, who started out nice because he wanted to sale had zero follow up based on situations we were running into as we started learning about what was put in the house. I had a realtor who i had to pay because they didn't pay them and never even told the realtors they weren't, so in turn it cost me $10,000 out of my pocket that i never expected, that in itself is criminal. The reason I mention learning is they give you what looks to be a 3rd grade sketch of the floor plan, no blueprint and no true layout. You are taken to model homes, shown layouts but it's not clearly explained. The sales person when we pointed out issues like our columns and hood vent, said all the homes are the same YET it actually was put in wrong and had to be ripped out when they further looked into the situation. Project managers are not even licensed builders, so how can they even determine what truly is wrong as the build is going along. The list of issues i'm running into can go on forever... i had an outside electrician come to my home and pointed out to me that Lennar has 24 outlets on one breaker for each floor... so 48 outlets are on 2 breakers for the entire house, which is INSANE. This just goes to show you the lack of care they have. I was promised my garage to be sheetrocked, which never happened. I had a room with a opening which looked like a drive through. The undermount of my sink was off, the hood range, i had to provide to them an manual on how to install it correctly. The windows and window locks are made so cheaply. The amount of things on the punch list are literally 3 pages long. I would recommend no one to ever buy a Lennar home unless they give you a major discount so you can use that money to hire outside vendors to fix everything,

      My wife and I moved to Texas and decided to purchase a new home under construction in the Hidden Trails Subdivision. We have experienced nothing but headaches from roof water leaks coming in the home and in the garage, wooden beams protruding from kitchen walls, damaged interior doors and trim, new HVAC unit breakdowns after a few months in the home in 100 degree heat causing us to stay at a hotel without being reimbursed, discolored tile and grout, dead sod, paint defects, stained driveway by grout used by workers, and excessive water bills for months due to damaged water pipes from poor workmanship and wooden pallets and other items being buried underground over the pipes. Lennar has refused to pay for the water bills created by their workmanship, stating that they do not pay for high water bill issues. Incredible! They refuse to repair the outside concrete stains saying that they won't come out unless the concrete was replaced, and they won't do that. A manager had the nerve to tell us that we also have tire marks on the concrete so the stains are not an issue. The interior door being replaced and damaged door trims has been reported and unresolved for a year. This has been a nightmare and it has caused irreparable damage to our view of the customer service and workmanship quality of Lennar. We will not build with them again.

      We closed escrow September 30, 2022 on a new home at Heritage ****************. During our walk thru on September 22, 2022 we marked many unfinished painted areas as well as an area of stone facia above the front at the roof line. We were told that everything would be done by the final walk thru on September 29th. On the 29th the found paint items had been completed but the stone facia had not been touched. Also the pantry cabinet door did not fit properly but we were assured once again it would be remedied immediately. While we were there the cabinet came and removed part of the door to correct the fit. We were again assured the stone facia would be repaired right away and had us sign a Certificate of Completion Exception Form stating the work would be done by October 7, 2022. Today is October 13th and all we have received is excuses and lies. In addition we still dont have the pantry door back. Ive purchased four (4) new homes in my lifetime, and the Lennar experience has been by far the most frustrating experience yet. The prior three (3) builders all were professional and met their promised deadlines. I would not recommend buying a Lennar Home

      Terrible Lennar Consultant experience. My wife and I were pre-approved to purchase a home. We searched for new homes and found several homes in the *********** Community in *************, **********. I sent numerous requests through their promotional page to schedule a showing. After several days of waiting, I found a phone number to the main office located in the Shadow Rock. I tried speaking with the consultant on duty to schedule a viewing with several of the homes my wife and I wanted to see. Nearly all the homes we mentioned are either sold or pending. The consultant explained that its best to stop by to the view the last move in ready home, but cannot guarantee that the house will be available. We live 35 minutes away and have appointments in place for today. I asked if we can the house tomorrow, but the person on the phone said that it may or may not be available by the time we get there. This is very disappointing, discouraging and frustrating to deal with someone that does not know what they are talking about. One of my pet peeves is when people interrupt me while Im talking. This consultant hit that button. All veterans and potential homebuyers, stay away from Lennar Homes. They dont value their customers and careless to run their business the right way.

      Lennar does not deserve a one star. I closed August 29, 2022 in the ***** ************** The house have numerous repairs and damages. When placing a repair ticket they do not call back or they call you back a week later with lies and say it does not fall in the warranty. The price I paid for this house does not match at all. The design of the model does not match what I was sold to me. I home had caused stress. I was told through the walk through all the repairs will be done and nothing got done. During hurricane *** water came into my home causing water damage because the construction crew left tape and painted over the tape which covers the holes for the water to drain out. Warranty states they will not help me and to call my insurance. Now I have damaged walls and a chance of having mold. I have young children under 5 in my home. It is unsafe my children to live in.

      Lennar homes in south ******* was the worst !! They try to get you to use their ************* and Their in house mortgage people .When we choose to use our own , we were called by **** the business Manager .He basically told us if we us an out side lender and we did not close in time we would be charged all sorts of fees and that we could potentially loose our down payment . Luckily we discussed this with our uncle who is a real estate Lawyer and decided against using Lennar's people . They work for the builder so who is the allegiance too? Lennar also charges a $17000 builders Fee that they do not negotiate. We also were told we were to close in *********** caused us to loose our 3.5 rate .We did not close until September. Worst experience and staff was always rude.

      In preparing for Hurricane ***, we prepare to install our hurricane shutters. We realized that we never received the hardware for the shutters with our new home purchase. Reached out to Lennar and was advised "we are closing this case, because the warranty period has expired". We purchased new home 3 years ago. How is not being issued critical hurricane shutter hardware subject to a warranty period? Billion dollar company won't take the time to send critical hardware that would cost less than 50 bucks to protect a home owner. Would advise all new home buyers to find another builder. Profit over service is Lennar's motto.

      I am a home owner at the community "Orchid Terrance" in FL. The construction manager (***** ******) is very unprofessional, I called him for a concern about garbage left on the construction site, because of the safety hazard it threaten on my property and my family, specially having the hurricane IAN on the way. Once he answered, he didn't let me talk, he gave me excuses why he couldn't help and hanged up the phone on me even though I was not being rude and I was being very professional. That behavior is very unprofessional from him and should not be tolerated in a company as big as Lennar.
