We love our new home. However, It does not appear that Lennar values customer service. We closed on our new home in 2/2022. We have had to file a few warranty claims (I will not detail them as the point is not to try to make Lennar sound like a poor homebuilder). I will take issue with 1 incident in this post. We had 2 wood wasps (look them up I had to) eat their way out of our walls leaving 2 small (about the size of a large nail) holes in our drywall. Wood wasps lay their babies in trees, not in hardwood. Once their babies leave their larvae state they will eat their way out of the wood. They do not cause any structural damage only cosmetic damage to the drywall. I had a pest control company come treat (did not ask Lennar to cover this). I then filed a claim for the 2 holes in my drywall. The virtual customer care was very polite but did tell me that she showed that it would not be covered. I politely responded that should go ahead and send it to the field as this is a builder issue and I would not think Lennar would want this to get ugly. I then got a call from the field rep that was confrontational and arrogant. He said it was not covered and that they could either deny the claim now or I could get 3 quotes from drywall companies and submit and they would then decide if they would deny or not. 1 more time. A home builder that deals with contractors of all kinds including drywall said I needed to get a quote from 3 drywall companies for them to decide if they would cover damage caused by my home being built with infested lumber. A tactic to delay and deny without having to deny. The case is still open but this is poor customer service especially given what we spend on a new home. As consumers, we have choices about who we buy from. I would not choose to buy from Lennar again given my experiences.

Where do I begin...The neighborhood is beautiful and our neighbors are absolutely wonderful.Lennar? Shocking. Little to no communication and a terrible home building experience. This is our first build and honestly will probably never build again. An hour before we were set to close on our house (after paying our deposit) we were told from the city that they hadn't submitted the ** (certificate of occupancy) until 12pm that day. When we asked what happened they blamed it on someone who didn't even work there anymore and lied that they didn't know it wasn't going to come through. This resulted in me contacting several people and waiting in the ************ until they agreed to landscape my backyard for free. Knowing there hands were tied, they agreed and all was well. Until, we walked in and the entire home was dirty and dusty on the inside. The porches had paint drips and caulk all over them, there was black marker on one of the mirrors. Then our A/C unit wasn't working on DAY 1 and when our A/C guy came out told us that the upper unit was faulty and needed to be completely replaced while the downstairs unit had never been wired in). Then we found out the sump pump had never been plugged in or the radon probably sealed. It's not just laziness, its complete oversight and negligence on Lennar's part. 14 days have now passed and our punch line items (which we were promised would be taken care of within 14 days) are still not done. Our warranty contact ghosted us and then magically was moved to a different neighborhood. We are supposedly going to be put on the "schedule" to get our items finished. We'll see if it happens. Honestly, there are so many beautiful homes in ******** - don't build with Lennar. It's a nightmare.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and experience with us. I'm sorry for any miscommunication you may have experienced. I see you also emailed us directly with your case management concerns. We did have a change in the ************* Representative for that community and she was given your case to manage. Our management team is currently working through a resolution for you and will be in touch directly. We take your feedback very seriously, therefore, I've contacted both our ************* and Construction team regarding the communication issues you've experienced to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Shouldve done my research before we signed with them, we lost our $7500 deposit after walking into the second meeting on June 29, 2022. This was the pre-drywall meeting, we found numerous in fractions in the guts of the home, twisted studs nails that werent hammered in, studs that werent flush, which wouldve resulted in continuous drywall cracks after the drywall was put up, studs that werent a fixed. I could go on and on. The most insulting part of the whole situation was this was a pre-drywall meeting, and there was sheet rock leaned up against 5 of the major walls of the ranch duplex. Our home was scheduled to close on September 9 2022; we felt that we were giving Lennar Homes enough time to give us back our deposit, but they refused despite the fact that we were canceling on quality, I was reminded this was not a custom home but they were a production home builder. The final paperwork said we canceled on craftsmanship, that was not the truth quality and craftsmanship are two different things they were told verbally quality *************************** can only work with the materials that Lennar Homes gives them. It was the quality of their homes, upon doing the pre-drywall meeting they were only going through the motions how can we see all the walls when theres sheet rock leaning against all the major walls? After reading all these complaints I find that we are extremely lucky we didnt have to deal with these horrible people my only suggestion to the rest of you that read this you need to get a class action lawsuit in motion it could be for the whole entire country it doesnt have to go by state, I wish you all the best of luck and Im so happy that we were able to escape these people

Find someone else! I cannot even begin to describe the nightmare dealing with Lennar. From allowing/tolerating materials to be poorly installed, to not installing the products that were listed on **************, getting them back to do any repairs has been virtually impossible. When you purchase a new home you expect it to be ************ and neatly done. They have ruined the experience and I will never again buy from them and I absolutely cannot recommend them in any way!!!!!

I just purchased a home from Lennar. This has been the worst experience hands down! I would never refer this company to anyone. We had issue through the entire process of the build and even more once we finally loved in.....5 weeks late and with cabinets we didn't even want. Lennar is a TERRIBLE company to work with. They take advantage of people and truly do not care once they have your money. I have been in my home 6 weeks now and I am still trying to get issues corrected in my "new" home. I have had issues with everything! They even used water damaged trim throughout my entire home and it is my issue now. If I could go back I would NEVER have even considered buying a home from ******. The way they left my home on the date I moved in is embarrassing and disgusting! I don't know how they can allow these things to happen or even for people to move into their homes in conditions like mine was. I have been disgusted by this whole process and I regret the choice to even look at a Lennar new build home. Issues keep coming up and they put a band aid on EVERYTHING just to get through the warranty period and it is no long their issue. Long story short. DO NOT BUY FROM LENNAR YOU WILL 100% REGRET IT!!!

I was in the process of buying a home in April 2022 and was working with *****. He is very arrogant and untrustworthy. I advised him I had my on Lender and pre approval letter and he pushed very hard for me to go through Lennars lender and guaranteed they could give me a better rate so I agreed to let them run the numbers. The next day he told me I was approved for the home I was interested in, provided the interest rate, and sent me a contract and asked me to sign it that day and pay the ******* money. I asked him if there were any stipulations that I should be aware of , like are they going to make me pay off a portion of my debt etc. He said no, I was approved with no conditions. I explained before I signed or paid anything I wanted my realtor to take a look and he was trying to convince me there was no need since its a standard contract. My realtor found errors in the contract and we had to have ***** correct it. Once corrected, I explained I still have not spoke with their loan processor and want to double check everything was really approved and their were no loose ends because I didnt want any surprises at the closing table being that Ive heard so many horror stories. ***** kept telling me they are not available on the weekends but if I dont sign it more than likely the price would increase by Monday. I still advised I wouldnt sign it until I spoke with them. So he had one of the loan officers call me a few minutes later. I spoke with ***** who advised he doesnt know why ***** would have told me I was approved because my application was not approved, they were still waiting on employment verification and the amount of the home I had the contract for was not an option based off my DTI. He also said they never provided an interest rate. ***** blatantly lied just to get me to pay my money. This was a horrible experience and this is why Lennar has so many horrible reviews. Its not the lender thats misleading the customers its the sales person.

I have lived in this home for 2 weeks today. I have opened 28 work orders within that 2 weeks. This morning I received a document stating all of the items were completed, however only 6 of the items had even been looked at.I have asked for my third party inspection results numerous times from numerous parties and have been denied access to it even though I have it signed in writing stating that it will be provided upon request.I was promised by the area sales manager certain items would happen. At our final walk through construction said that conversation never happened. The main reason that I switch from the Lennar Mortgage is because the Loan Officer refused to provide me with a Loan Estimate. The documents he provided and called a loan estimate even stated "THIS IS NOT A LOAN ESTIMATE".I have found nails, razor blades, and other debris in my yard. The construction workers still in the neighborhood routinely use residents yards as dumpsters. Construction crews drink on the job and leave empty beer bottles in the middle of the street. My floors squeek all through the upstairs, which was pointed out by the third party inspector and provided to the construction team, however the construction team failed to act on that or any other provided deficiency by my inspector. This makes me want to see the third party inspection that Lennar "completed" even more. There are sections of my lawn that had DEAD SOD installed. Warranty does not cover sod nor should it have to. But having to pay out of pocket to replace sod that was DOA should not be required. My AC unit has a steady stream of water flowing out of it. When I opened a warranty case they said I qualify for a VIRTUAL VISIT????The only saving ***** in this 400 thousand dollar nightmare was our Sales Rep. ******* he was routinely put into a poor situation by his management and construction team. Plumbing work was done and there was broken tiles that were left for days that my children ended up cutting their

We moved in this house in 2014 and its been a nightmare ever since. There's not enough space in this post to list all the problems. In 2015 the moisture started turning the hardwood black because they didn't seal the concrete slab after it dried. They had to pull all the hardwood up and seal it. It seemed to help, but now a new black spot has appeared. It is almost in the same exact place where the first incident started. Lennar wants nothing to do with it!! They have shot it down and blamed it on us. We don't eat or drink in that area, and the Lennar rep says we must have spilled something on it. The hardwood has a coating to prevent that from happening. This is a construction issue and should still be covered under the 10 year warranty. I will never buy Lennar again. This should have been taken care of as soon as I submitted the claim. Especially since this isn't our first problem with the flooring. I called several times to the area manager and he never responded. Hopefully this issue will be resolved. Do not buy Lennar!!!
