******** experience designed to steal your money. I had an error code on my two year old washing machine. They sent ***** who was extremely rude! I was charged $149 for him to diagnose the problem. I for work but he called and gave a price to replace the belt. I told him the belt still appeared to be new and on great condition but he insisted and raised the price but another $200+. He called again and advised it was the actuator which I knew was ok as well based on ******* description but I said ok, the price then went over $400 but I said ok. He then called me again to say the capacitor was broken and the actuator was just fine. The price then went up to over $600 and he became upset when I questioned why all the other parts still needed to be replaced after telling me they were ok. He rudely advised that they ALL still needed to be replaced. I called the office to complain and insisted they send someone else to diagnose the problem. She insisted that should they send someone else out to double check, I would be charged another $75. This feels like a scam or they simply have too much faith in an associate who doesn't know what he's doing, I explained to another company who came out simply to check the parts he said were broken. They replaced all three and all three were in good working order and did NOT need to be replaced. Not sure if the main board is the problem or not however, instead of Flamingo advising they were unable to determine the issue, they preferred to attempt to charge me for every part they touched in an attempt to guess at the problem. This is sad and I'm out of $250 and still have an inoperable washing machine. I gave them a free $149 and another company $75 just to test the parts Flamingo claimed were broken. This is unfair and Flamingo will do nothing to make this right. Charging people, when your representative is incapable of making the repair, just isn't right!Flamingo Appliance Service, Inc.

The service was handled great. The technician was prompt and very pleasant attitude. He diagnoses the issue with the appliance. The tech was great- seemed knowledgeable, on time, and all communication was great! Except after a minor few adjustments to my 1 yr old washer he said it was all good! I was happy until later I heard it turn on by itself and sounded like it was running( with no load or water) Everytime I reset it or turned it off it starts back up again!! So I unplugged and called Flamingo again- cant get another appointment til next week! Kind of disappointing.Flamingo Appliance Service, Inc.

Whirlpool is a joke. I purchased a 3 piece kitchen set in August 2023 from Best Buy. Stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. 8 months later the oven filament blows up, splits in half and catches fire. I contact the company and they state they will send a company (Flamingo) out to repair it. I sit at home the whole day of said appointment waiting for ******** per the instructed time. I missed a phone call from an unknown number, didnt think much of it but as I am waiting for Flamingo to come I decide to call them just in case it was them, to which I am told yes it was them, and since I missed the call they went to another house and wont be out! What in the world??Absolutely ridiculous, NOT apologetic at all. When I contacted whirlpool I was told oh well thats how the company (Flamingo) worksso for over a week I cant use my new stove/oven to feed my family and now I need to reschedule based on a unknown missed call for 2 more days out? What a joke! Also I called back within a 10 minute time frame so yeah not happy AT ALL!Flamingo Appliance Service, Inc.

we had flamingo appliance come to our house to do some work on our Maytag washer under warranty. The service technician did not have the parts with him to do the repair, told us he was coming back the next day, and did not show, call, or let us know that he wasn't coming to reschedule. Zero effort to help a referred client. Flamingo Appliance Service refused to service my KitchenAid cooktop because the address for service is located on an island and the technician would need to leave his van at a ****** while I would personally transport the technician and his tools in my own boat, about a 10-minute ride. I have also reported Flamingo Appliance Service to KitchenAid Customer **********************.Flamingo Appliance Service, Inc.

We are only able to service islands that have ferry service that carry vehicles so that our technicians can bring both their tools and vehicles to the customer's home. 1 starThe absolute worst service company out there. My new Kitchenaid Refrigerator starting making a noise. After calling Kitchenaid they sent a Flamingo tech out a week later and by then there was no noise and the refrigerator was not cooling, though the freezer was fine. The tech just looked at it and said he had to order a part, never even touched the refrigerator to do any diagnostics. Over a week later he came with the part and did not like me watching him so I went in the garage. The next time I saw him he was walking down the driveway and said you can turn on the breaker, it's all fixed. I asked don't you want to check it before you leave and he ignored me and drove off. Now the refrigerator still doesn't cool, the freezer no longer works and the water dispenser is dead. After calling them back right away they said they can't get anyone back for another week so we have been without a refrigerator for 3 weeks and now without a freezer as well. They just don't care and somehow manage to make things worse at every step. No managers available to talk to and they disconnected me while on hold a few times as well. Pathetic!Review fromBridget V

I wouldn't use Flamingo Appliance again if it was the only company out there to use....I'd rather spend the money and buy a brand new appliance. I called them to have a 5 year old Maytag dryer looked at that wouldn't turn on. The technician that they sent to the house was very nice. He diagnosed it as a blown fuse. He replaced the fuse....charged me $225 and left. He wasn't even out of the driveway and the dryer wouldn't turn on again. I ran out and tried to yell to him to come back in ....but he couldn't hear me. I immediately tried to call the Flamingo customer service number but couldn't get through for days. I literally called 30 times in one day and couldn't get through. After a week I did speak to someone who said that they couldn't come back for another 3 weeks....and I'd have to pay for an additional service call of $150 to have them come.....then I'd have to wait for any parts to be ordered. Out of complete frustration I called Mr. Appliance (who I highly recommend)....they were here the next day...replaced the blown fuse and the heating element that was the cause of the blown fuses that Flamingo totally misdiagnosed. Flamingo refused to reimburse me for any of the $225 and claimed that the heating element burned out after their tech had left the driveway. DO NOT EVER USE FLAMINGO APPLIANCE.......HORRIBLE!!!!Flamingo Appliance Service, Inc.

I called Flamingo services in Jan/24 because they were listed as an authorized repair service for Whirlpool appliances. An appt was arranged and a service person arrived to confirm the model and serial numbers of our kitchenaid stove/oven and indeed as reported the left rear burner was not working. A part needed to be ordered and he would schedule an appt when it arrived. Second appt he arrived and realized he had ordered the wrong part. A third appt had to be scheduled. A different tech arrived with the part and informed us the first tech was no longer with the company. On closer inspection of the appliance he proclaimed the first tech had misdiagnosed the problem and a review would need to be made and a new estimate created which would involve three persons to repair the rear right burner. A new appt was scheduled (this is now March/24) and before arriving for appt he needed our approval of the new estimate of $79O. I bulked and declined this offer which seemed exceedingly high. I was upset and dismayed at their incompetence especially for representing themselves as an authorized repair service for our Kitchenaid appliance that was out of warranty. He told me to call the company to request the service fee be returned since after 3 visits no service had been done and they had misdiagnosed the problem. I made several attempts to call and speak to a superior customer ********************** representative at Flamingo Appliances and was told over and over again from every receptionist that I could not speak to a supervisor because there was representative attempt I made to speak to a supervisor. However, no one was ever able to connect me to a supervisor to no avail. Each person said the same thing, the initial service fee is non - refundable. Im certain ********************* will be equally dismayed how their trust and confidence as a representative of their brand was treated HorriblyFlamingo Appliance Service, Inc.
