      very unsatisfied customer service with **********************. Back in January of this year, I had booked a flight with Spirit and then needed to cancel it due to unforeseen circumstances. I was told since I had cancelled the flight in a reasonable time of matter, that I would be given a credit with Spirit and that it would be good to use up to one whole year. I have not been given any credit of any kind for the purchased flight that was cancelled. I have been in communication with Spirit and have gotten absolutely no response or any accommodation for that matter. At this point, since I have not received any form of credit, Spirit has basically taken my money with no actual purchase of a flight. I have gone ahead and contacted the attorney general of Illinois as well hoping to get a resolution for all of this since Spirit cannot themselves. As of right now, I am very unsatisfied with the customer service that I have received with Spirit and would really appreciate if this could be taken care of as soon as possible. I recommend to never book a flight with this airline to anyone in the future.

      I booked two tickets for Dec.. I got an email saying: URGENT: Spirit Airlines Schedule Change Notice. The new dates didn't work for me due to my schedule. I had to cancel the trip and I'm not getting a full refund! I was forced to cancel it due to my schedule. "The Spirit Travel Guard won't be refunded ($35) nor the $50 for modification when I talked to them!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I NEVER HAVE USED THEM! AND NEVER WILL. After the email I received, I started researching them, and it turns out they are a nightmare with canceling flights or changing dates. There is a reason why you book flights in advance. NEVER AGAIN! NO WONDER THEY ARE DOING SO BAD!!

      At airport they made an announcement "if your boarding pass says you don't have a carry on but you know you should come to the desk". Why would they announce that unless they knew there were issues? Red flag! Upgraded to comfy bundle so the carry on would be included. Was assigned seats ** and ** after paying the fee. Found out those aren't even comfy seats. ******* **** MCO) said "the computer obviously messed up so we'll refund you the upgrade fee and charge you for the checked luggage". Why would I pay extra money for the same seats included with my ticket? I paid the extra fee for baggage. Checked 1 bag and was charged $158. That's more than I paid for my ticket! The whole reason I paid to upgrade to comfy was because coming out of ********* it was $70 for the one carry on so it was cheaper to upgrade. And now I have paid $158 for who knows what and $58 for the upgrade. They claim I'll be refunded the $58 but after this experience I'm not very confident that'll happen. After I contacted customer service I found I was charged for 2 checked bags (was only given 1 pink tag and only asked to sign 1 pink tag). They now tell me to file a request for a refund and they MIGHT refund me. The bag that they took fit into the carry on slot and they said "you can't have carry ons in the comfy section because space is limited" yet when you buy the comfy bundle it includes a carry on and a personal item. The entire time I was dealing with ******* and **** they were having a side conversation and laughing together not hearing a single thing I was trying to tell them. Another lady came over and I was thinking she would help me but nope. The man in front of me also didn't have a carry on listed on his boarding pass and they apologized and gave him one at no charge.Due to the time it took me at the counter there was a line of about 30 people behind me waiting for assistance and not a single person offered to open another line which in turn delayed boarding.

      Worst Airline ever! They just want to take as much money from you as possible. Flew from *********** to ******* with no problem. From ******* to ********* they would not let me have a carry on because I was in the last group. They said I could only have a personal item. They then charged me $79.00 to check my bag. There was all kinds of room in the overhead compartments. The check in counter had no idea what they were doing. Then even if you wanted water on the flight you had to pay for that. Seats were the most uncomfortable thing I ever sat on. The trays in front of you were falling upon takeoff. The check in counter was rude and not very helpful. I was told to get back in line three different times. With all the options you have I would never fly Spirit Airlines. They are a joke of a business!*****

      I reserved a flight for my wife and I. I received an email stating the flight times were changed. So, I changed our flight so our times would work. The flight I chose was $450 cheaper. I asked if they would refund the difference and they refused. The customer does not come first. I will not fly spirit airlines in the future. zero stars. Very disappointed.

      I dont even want to leave a star the customer service i experienced was the worst, I have anxiety and had my service animal with me which was a whole ordeal. Then after I already paid for a seat they made me buy another seat which was right behind my original seat so I paid twice for a two seats and was told on the day they would refund me for my seat if I buy the new one for $50 which I did and no refund wen I called they said no we not gonna refund you. I will never fly this airline again and will let everyone know how bad you guys really are dont even care bout your customers

      I have booked several flights through spirit airlines they have now multiple times canceled my flights this one in question a month in advance. I purchased trip insurance through them and they will not include that in the refund. I was not provided a reason for flight cancellation the employees are extremely rude and not helpful at all. From my research they have been especially bad this year about that. Spirt just practically took my money without providing a reason. I book insurance for if I cancel myself, not for the airline to just cancel without reason a month in advance when all prices are significantly higher. This is extremely disappointing and Id encourage if you want solid plans to not use spirt.

      Incident at the Las Vegas gate involving a gate agent who identified herself as ****** (though she initially provided the false name "*****") Reported this incident to Spirit Airlines' ethical hotline due to her unethical, unprofessional, and ******** biased behavior, which left me deeply distressed. During the boarding process, I was ******ly profiled by ******. She singled me out for having bag with my personal items, despite other passengers with the same and large-sized bags being allowed to board without issue. Her demeanor throughout the encounter was extremely rude and hostile. She shouted and made inappropriate remarks like terrorist, and said you want to go home right, which only added to the emotional distress I experienced. Furthermore, the she forced me to consolidate my personal items such as my laptop cup and sweater into my carry-on bag. She then demanded my ID and credit card and charged me $80 for the bag without disclosing the total upfront. She took my carry-on bag to be placed on the carousel when the other baggage items from others per my photos are overweight compared to my red carry-on bag. This charge only became apparent later on my bank statement, even though I had complied with her demands. The photos provided clearly show that others carried larger bags without facing similar scrutiny along with personal items. My credit card was being charged without my consent per my bank statement as I never signed for this transaction. I had that same carry on bag along and personal items from both my flights and now they have an issue with it. Concerned for my safety, as the gate agent had access to my personal information, including my ID. A supervisor I spoke to encouraged me to report this matter, acknowledging that the treatment I received was unjust. She also made me late to onboard the plane which the aircraft safety instructions have been completed while I boarded. Don’t use this airline! They are a **** and ******. Watch it!

      WORST Airlines Ever!!!! Completed my first ever and will certainly be my last flight with Spirit. They have rhe worst customer Service and seems noone cares a care about customers. They price gouge the customers just because they can. My experience started with them informing me upon check in that my flight had been cancelled and demanding an additional $100 per person to reschedule, event tough I had reservations. After paying the additional fee, We were then told all additional baggage would require additional fee, which was a carry on..They implied the plane was full. After boarding. The plane was half empty, which I believe was their way of making customer make up for the empty plane. Same scenario on the return flight.. This company needs to be held accountable for holding customers hostage at their most vulnerable state. The behaviors of this Airline is unacceptable. IT is also noticed that they seems to prey on the poor and less fortunate. SPIRT. SHOULD BE **** DOWN.
