      I was traveling with spirit. Their flights are made out of junk.The airhostess doesnt know good way of talking or respecting people. The service from staff changes as per the race of people.

      The over booked now me and my wife arr stuck in ******* for a day.. possibly lost out luggage.. when I can customer service it's busy can get through.. worst experience I've ever had flying..

      Thieves. All I want is my money back! I do not want a credit to book at a later date. The online app is no help. I spoke with 3 reps and was read the same information.

      Horribly unreliable. Gave me wrong terminal info. Boarded late because they were waiting for crew. Had a mechanical issue on tarmac. Went back to gate. Told us to deplane, stopped before we got off in tunnel had us replane. Delayed us on tarmac. Terrible and never again.

      I would have given a zero if I could. We booked our flight to ********* for my wife and me a couple of months in advance. When we arrived at the airport a couple of hours before our flight, we were told that our flight was canceled due to a smaller plane being used. The customer service representatives, both in-person and online, were unprofessional and rude. We were treated poorly when asking questions about our flight, and we missed all of our events in ********* that day. I would never recommend this airline as they do not seem to care about their customers

      After many delays with American Airlines and needing to be somewhere quickly, I chose to book a Spirit flight for the first time. Since the flight was still hours from our initial airlines flight, my family and I chose to leave the airport and come back closer to our boarding time. We had carry-on bags and arrived at the airports check-in desk 43 minutes prior to the flight. However, upon check-in, the representative at the desk would not check us in, even though we had no bags to check and still had plenty of time to make the boarding window. She even refused to help us rebook the ticket saying that the line was too long and she needed to check in other customers. After scrambling, again, for another flight, we found one with a third airline, Southwest, putting us at our final destination after midnight. When explaining the situation to Spirits customer service team (and supervisors), I was told that I was considered a no-show for my flight and refused a refund. This was absolutely not the case, but I still tried to be flexible and ask for a future credit instead. Again, I was told no and that I would lose the money Id spent on the flight. The supervisor proceeded to tell me that its required for me to be there at least 45 minutes prior to the flight time, so 43 wasnt enough. A two minute difference is a ridiculous reason to keep a family from boarding their flight and looking for other very limited options and refusing to help book another option at the end.

      They canceled flight at 2am for a 12:30pm flight. Claimed weather related but no weather all other airlines flying same route were on time. So, we had to get in the car and drive 11 hours to get to our destination. I will NEVER fly Spirit!!!!

      Yesterday (June 30, 2024) I experienced a very unpleasant and unprofessional flight experience with Spirit. Spirit demonstrated why it has 1.06 out 5 rating. It sent me a text msg at 11:24 AM that my flight was delayed from a scheduled 6:20 pm to 8:40 pm. Then at 3:44 pm, it sent me another text message notifying me that my flight was further delayed till 9:23 pm. So I planned to get at the airport 2 hours prior to 9:23 pm (around 7:15 pm). At 5:14 pm, it sent me a text notifying me that my flight was back on time and scheduled to depart at 6:20 pm. I was staying about an hour away from airport. This didnt give me enough time to get to the airport on time and I missed the flight. When I checked with gate agent and showed her my text messages, she told me that I was expected to be within the vicinity of the airport within 2 hours of scheduled departure time. None of the text message or email notification indicated this and neither did they indicate that there is a chance the flight might get back to on time. Was Spirit expecting all of its customers to arrive at the airport 2 hours prior to 6:20 pm and wait for 5 hours at the airport in case the flight would be late? What is the point of sending the flight-delay notification if it was expecting everyone to come to the airport based on scheduled departure time? Furthermore, I was sent back to rebook, but the rebooking agent was so rude and didnt provide any useful option to rebook. She told me that there is a fine print that says passengers are supposed to get to the airport before 2 hours of the original departure time. I checked my text message and email messages and neither of them show this fine prints. Where did this fine print come from? Anyway, I was not able to find any convenient rebooking option and ended up cancelling the flight. This was very frustrating experience, which left me stranded at the *************** for so many hours.

      Hello, I had a flight cancellation through spirit yesterday. Was unable to be booked for another flight for 2 days which was not feasible so had to book alternative flight. I am unable to leave until this evening and was on hold when customer service for an hour trying to get hotel voucher. Once I finally spoke with someone she told me call tech support which doesnt make sense and would not provide me a number just said click contact us which shows the number I was on phone with. I am requesting compensation for my hotel I paid out of pocket for for this inconvenience
