      Absolutely trash company. Tried talking to customer service three different times. Asked for a complaint email or number and was told we are customer complaints. My complaint is about there service. Asked them to change a carry on to a checked bag and it cost me double because they won't change or refund the carry on. I couldn't take the bag as a carry on so I just had to deal with paying double the charge. Terrible customer service.

      This is the worst company ever. We took a trip and when we arrived at the airport our luggage was never put on the flight. There was noone there to help us. We weren't the only ones. I had to call 50 to 100 times could barely ever talk to anyone. Finally spirit customer center in ******* answered the woman said don't file a claim even though the computer said after 4 hours. She said I can't file until I k know what happened to my luggage. Lied to me intentionally on the phone. I tried filling multiple ways but was blocked or had an error was blocked from filling. . By the time I got my luggage it was on the flight home. Then they told me it was to late to file a claim. I had no close the whole trip, they didn't refund the amount I paid for the luggage, they ruined our suit case vacation, I got stuck inside with no close. It looks months and all I got was money I spent to buy close. Didn't get a refund for the luggage that I didn't get, for vacation that got ruined. This was the worst experience I have ever had anywhere. They should be shut down or get a class action lawsuit from how they run their customer service lying to people. Me and my family will never fly eith them again beware.

      I have never seen terrible like Spirit Airlines in my entire life. I did 2 trips with this airline both trips delayed and they didnt even care about passengers.They kept us more than 2 hours in airplane and didnt give us a tot water. Horrible service during flight.

      Terrible. The worst. They didnt put my bag on the plane. They had to deliver to my hotel which was 2 hours away from airport when the next plane dropped it off. 4 days later my trip was over and still no luggage. Went through the entire trip wearing the same clothes. **** was set up for business and pleasure. Business was canceled because all documents and products were in luggage. Pleasure was not obtained due to hassle of trying to get luggage and feeling depressed from losing business and looking like an amateur for something that was set up for months. Spirit is willing to do nothing to fix the problem besides pay for the shipping of my luggage and reimburse me for the money I spent to check my luggage on the plane. I lost so much in business and they wont even reimburse my flight or comp me for future travel. Let this be a ****** that cheap flights are run by cheap companies like Spirit that do not care about you.

      If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I had a horrible traveling experience with Spirit where we were delayed for 7 hours due to a mechanical issue on our plane. Because of their policy, they can't rebook with another airline and the only other flight to my destination was the next day. No offer of connecting or anything. Extremely disgruntled, I was offered only a $50 travel voucher for this incredible hassle. When I tried to get a refund, they issued my another $50 travel voucher, now up to $100 in travel credit, already more than what the refund would have cost. The customer service advised me to file a complaint on the website, but that page was down. When I asked to be connected to a person in the complaints department, the rep said, "They don't have a phone number." "They don't have any phones in that department? Not a single phone?" I clarified. "No," she confirmed. Some chat box feature filled out some online form for me and I may hear back in ***** days about my refund, but I'm not hopeful. Trying to make the best of my situation, I decided to book a trip with the vouchers, cancel it, and maybe use those credits to pay for baggage on a Spirit flight I had already booked (because I also discovered today that they only cover booking a flight, nothing else). However, imagine my surprise when I learn that these "vouchers" do not cover most of the fees that Spirit disguises a flight as. No, I'm not talking about taxes, government fees, or, heaven forbid, adding a carry on bag. I was well aware those weren't covered by the voucher. But the actually ticket price listed is made up of several vague non travel fees so for an $88 ticket, my voucher only covers $27.71 of the ticket. This voucher would be more useful as toilet paper than a travel credit. **** October 28 on your calendar, when the U.S.'s new travel policies for airlines will take effect. Spirit Airlines, you will be the first to fall. And I will laugh and be merry and dance on your grave.

      Absolutely worst. Missed my niece’s graduation in Boston. Flight was set to depart , then spirit suddenly changed our gate. The original gate we were assigned, it was assigned to flight going to NY. They kept delaying. Then told us flight is cancelled because they “ can’t find a pilot to fly” . It was too late to cancel hotel room , so got charged there as well. I swear I never heard this excuse before . I think it’s a ***** airline. They were probably making more money flying to LaGuardia than Boston , so switched last minute and ******* us.

      Spirit kept delaying our flight to Chicago from Houston Texas. The flight was set to leave at 1735 then kept pushing it forward more hours until everyone was at the gate they decided to cancel the flight with no time for the next flight to depart. The service provided was one of the worst and they didn't even wanted to refund the money I had spent on the garage for my car. I hope BBB does something about this and actually check this company for being unreliable and with a bad service regarding their flights.

      Absolutely terrible all around, terrible flight, terrible options after flight was canceled offered no help or compensation, lost my baggage, customer service was terrible and hung up on me multiple times. No one was willing to help me.

      They are terrible at customer service, nobody knows how to work with you to pay for a ticket change after 6 hrs of texting, waiting while agent after agent ghosted me while on live chat. Even talking to a live person it to 5 transfers to be able to help me pay for a flight. Totally unacceptable, unprofessional and time wasting just to pay. WOW

      Complete Joke of an airline. I paid 60 extra dollars to upgrade my seats they give my wife a complete different seat then mine. Original departure time was 5:30am they changed to 448 am. Flight number 521. We boarded plane and taxied to runway just to be told we have to wait for planes to arrive which wasn't a big deal was about a 35 minute delay just to be told we have to turn around to gate and refuel for ***** gallons which will atleast take 30 to 45 minutes. Complete shitshow of an airlines. No offer of drinks no offer of food nothing. Wouldn't even let us off the plane for the over 1 hr departure time. Completely unacceptable.
