      Garbage airline. Gate agent for some reason had a power trip and wouldnt engage conversation until last few minutes even though I told them I needed a seat assignment. Told me i need to purchase outbound ticket from ********, otherwise he wouldnt let me board. All within 4 minutes before door shut. Told me I could get my money back within 24 hours. Not true. Lost money and ruined my vacation. Terrible. Garbage. Reached out to company and they gave me a garbage $50 voucher that doesnt work.

      They pushed our flight out an hour, then changed it back but didnt tell us until 6 minutes before taking off which was after the gate was closed. BTW, all these communications were by email. We discovered all this when we arrived at the gate an hour prior to the scheduled departure but they were gone. They told us we missed our flight.

      Absolutely the worst airlines! I had a major issue with flight cancellations on 4/3/24 out of fort launderdale flordia. Well we need to take the train 40 min to ***** to have the plane delayed 4 times then approved for a 10:10 take off. Well we didn't take off until 12:30 and did not land until 2:30 am in ****** where we sat until 6 am. The manager in ***** was rude and wouldn't take our bags as being free considering we are military & he kept saying we needed to verify. But customer service disagreed & stated the system was not working properly to complete the process. Spirit is the worse airline and only seems to be getting worse!

      We had a connecting flight at the *************** and due to the overall slow service by Spirit Airline and the Airport, half the people on two flight have missed their connecting flights. Everyone was told to take their luggage and go all the way to the main terminal to recheck the baggs, for a connecting flight. I never heard of anything like this. People had run to the tram to get shuttled to the main terminal and then run to the Spirit check in, just to find out that we couldn't check in and our flight is leaving without us. There was no urgency by anyone at Spirit to try to get people moving onto their connecting flights. And no communication from one plan to another that there are passengers on their way over. They didn't even try to call the gate to see if the plane was still there and let them know that they had some delays.After over an hour of talking their customer service at the airport and on the phone, they finally agreed to book us a flight with a different airline e because they don't have any direct flight going out to ****** daily. However, we now have to stay at a hotel and possibly pay for our checked bags again.At this point I would suggest for people to stay as far away from Spirit Airline as they can. I will see if I can get some kind of refund but this will most likely not go anywhere either. I will make sure that my company will not book anything with Spirit Airline either for all our future trips we have to do to go to conferences.

      This review is solely for SPIRIT at *** airport. If I could give 0 stars that would still be too much. 3 different workers have seen ** standing at the counter for 30 minutes and wont come grab our bags so we can finish check in and get on with our day.It would be different if they werent here but the fact they are, have made eye contact with me, and refuse to check us in is the reason this is my first and LAST time flying spirit airlines.Lazy and classless.

      I had the unfortunate displeasure of flying with Spirit Airlines, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The moment I stepped onto the plane, I was greeted with a putrid odor that lingered throughout the entire flight. The seats were like sitting on concrete blocks, providing zero comfort for the duration of the journey.To add insult to injury, our flight was delayed without any explanation, causing us to miss our connecting flight despite the fact that the plane was still at the gate. The airline's lack of coordination and communication left us stranded, missing two reservations and only provided a measly $42 for meals, which barely covered a fraction of the cost.We were forced to fly out the next morning, adding more inconvenience and stress to our already disastrous travel experience. And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, our return trip was plagued by yet another delay, this time because they were waiting on someone else to board the plane.Spirit Airlines is undoubtedly the epitome of incompetence and negligence. Save yourself the trouble and never fly with them. They are consistently behind schedule and fail to provide even a semblance of decent service. Avoid at all costs.

      Do not use this company. My husband was in a cat wreck; so obviously I had to change our flight. They stated that I could get the modification fee credited back because of the accident. I have sent them the hospital discharge paperwork as well as the doctors letter and they stated on 3/26/2024 it was approved. I contacted them yesterday 4/4/2024 and now neither of them are acceptable. I have felt with 6 different CSR and contacted them. Even spoke with a supervisor and was told that theres no way of talking to a human about this. Bottom line I will never be using this company again

      Hate spirit airline. The worst airline. They will keep you waiting for 1-2 hrs in flight while landed.

      Charged for seats and bags. Than plane had issue with a door shutting. Sat in the runway boarded for over two hours. Little to no updates from workers. Missed my next flight. Not worth savings considering my travel time doubled ** they couldnt figure out a door or after an hour put us in another plane.
