      This is quite literally the worst airline I have ever flown on. I leave wonderful Google reviews for most businesses, but I cannot do so ethically for this business. I recently had the misfortune of flying with Spirit Airlines and I can confidently say it was one of the worst experiences of my life. From rude flight attendants to unethical behavior and complete disregard for customer satisfaction, Spirit Airlines has proven itself to be a disgrace to the airline industry. The nightmare began before we even boarded the plane. Despite checking in online prior to our flight, their website conveniently decided to malfunction when it came to checking in myself, citing the excuse of having an infant on my lap. While my husband and daughter were granted their boarding passes without issue, mine was labeled with a message "must speak to agent at gate." Upon arrival at the airport and seeking assistance, we were met with further incompetence and disrespect. Despite having paid for our flight, they said I checked in last and we were informed that I would not be allowed on the flight due to it being full. This absurdity was compounded by the fact that Spirit's own faulty online check-in system had prevented me from obtaining a boarding pass earlier and them overbooking. Rather than rectifying their mistake, Spirit Airlines was fully prepared to inconvenience my entire family, including a toddler, by making us miss the flight we had rightfully paid for. It took the intervention of multiple individuals to finally secure seats on a later flight, which only added to our frustration and stress. When we finally boarded the plane, the ordeal was far from over. I found myself squished between two strangers, forced to balance an infant on my lap for the duration of the flight. The lack of consideration for our comfort and safety was appalling, and it was abundantly clear that Spirit Airlines prioritizes profit over the well-being of its passengers.

      Never in my life have I had a issue with a airline. February 26th will be a day I will regret with passion. Spirit lost my bag and got it back damaged after 19 days . Now they wont replace the baggage of a 4 set luggage. The baggage is useless to me since it was a set. All you get is the runaround with no resolution but not their fault. Was told I will receive round trip tickets (3) for three passengers. I even requested it to be from *** to PNS and not *** and she stated that can be done on the claim - and that was a farce. *** was mishandled by *** because she failed to put the proper tag on the bag that she stated she would do and for me and to catch my flight (ILS5GA). I had to go to the other end of the airport with a 8 year old grandchild and my other half. We got there and started loading. We got to *** and no bag. I went to the baggage claim and she stated it was in *** and will be on the next flight no later than the next day in the evening. I called the next day and they still have not located my bag. I called 2 days after the lost bag and someone in *************** stated that it was at ***. I went to go there. Guess what - It wasn't there, they never found the bag. Was told after 5 days to contact spirit.com/bagclaim and fill that out. So I did. Called *********** and ******* let alone ******* and ***************, all say use the Spirit.com/Bagclaim site and then you wait for days to get a response. I called Spirit again after I received a chat from Spirit.com/bagclaim chat, that they are not responsible for it since it was never damaged when it left. I was told to call ***** and they said that Spirit has to call in the claim since they have the account. All to no avail. I called ***, ***, ***, *** and left numerous messages for them to call me. Nothing for 19 days concerning the lost bag and the ***** claim. I also called so many numbers and no call back or resolution but to go to Spirit.com/bagclaim. Just give me what was promised and what I lost

      Three cancelled flights all due to mechanical issues. Myself and everyone on one of our cancelled flights were told we could get a hotel and would be refunded later. Now Spirit is denying the refund and my family lost so much money and time. How can this be legal. This is absolutely horrible.

      Its the worst airline in *******, period! After having to wait more than three hours for a delayed flight (*********-***) the desk agents wanted to charge an extra 90 dollars for a backpack I had traveled with no extra charge on my flight ***-*********. When we complained the agent just decided to cancel our flight. We were traveling with two children! They cancelled out of abuse of power, plain and simple! Reason? Because we complained! This airline has total disregard of children, respect of customers, and the most basic human values.

      Worst airline EVER!!! How do these people even stay in business?!?! They lost my luggage and it's next to impossible to get anyone online or on the phone. I waited on hold TWICE for ***** minutes only to get an ANSWERING MACHINE?!?! When you go online, you only get error messages and that you have to go to the AIRPORT to get it fixed. Now they say it may take up to ***** DAYS before I get my luggage back!! It was only 2 1-hour flights, for god's sake! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE AIRLINE.

      My grandpa passed away and I had to cancel the flight because his funeral date changed and my grandma had a surgery. I sent the death certificate and they questioned the death certificate, asking me to provide the real onewth??? Another customer service person talked to me and said the flight was booked after the death date so they couldnt reimburse me?? So they wouldve wanted me to book a flight for a day my grandpa would die?? Please reimburse me. Ive been using spirit for years and dont want to use them after this incident

      The airline provides insufficient compensation for their errors. The airline delayed the first leg of my flight, causing me to miss the second flight, an international flight. Their compensation included a $7.00 "meal voucher" which does not cover a meal inside an airport and likely not outside of an airport. The compensation also included a hotel stay but did not include meal vouchers at the hotel nor the $7 voucher. When pressed on this, they indicated I could submit any food receipts to their general help submission page. Spirit airlines really degrades the image of the airline industry. If their performance and customer satisfaction is in any relation to their stock price then the $4.12 price is still too high.

      Spirit AHHH let me tell you. The money and time and DOWNRIGHT energy they cost ** is INSANE! OUr flight was cancelled then reschedule after the first Cancellation we had to cancel our connecting flight. There we lost money then after rescheduling with Spirit then rescheduling out flight again they SHOCKINGLY!!! cancelled out flight again. We were out 460 dollars for the two flight we missed then 200 for the taxi then 600 for the difference in going with another company WHICh BY THE WAY WORTH IT in comparison to the garbage spirit had to offer. From there we spend close to *********************************************************** general. DO yourself the favor and dont use SPIRIT

      Please if you value your sanity and have any type of self respect do not give this airline the time of day. My flight from ********* to *********** was delayed than cancelled. The agents wee no help whatsoever. No explanations, no compassion/understanding of our situation. Basically you are on your own and fend for yourself. NEVER will I ever book with the at all. All travel site Expedia, kayak etc. should remove them from their platform. They are horrible.

      Spirit changed my flight 3 times. Which made it inconvenient for me since I had surgery scheduled. I asked for a refund and they refused because they had not changed the flight more than 2 hours. I filed a dispute with my bank which my bank denied. Spirit then cancelled my flight without my knowledge or confirmation. I reached out to them and they are refusing to refund me. The bank is also refusing. Its been a constant battle since January. I lost $800+ dollars. I will never ever use spirit ever again as they are inconvenient and non reliable.
