      This airline is complete ****. We have a credit from a flight we had to cancel. We had to extend the credit and were told we can use it. We have been trying to use it for a week, several employees confirmed yes it's valid, yes we can use, and today the employee is telling us no. We have the Transcript of all communications showing that it is valid and can be used but yet they are not honoring it. They are a waste of time and money, don't do it!

      Terrible customer service. Lady acted like a child and
      walked away mid conversation. She was the supervisor and the lady below
      us said we needed to follow the supervisor to the gates she was going
      to. Most unprofessional person I’ve dealt with in my life. Terrible
      terrible service will never fly with them again. Leaving as many bad
      reviews as possible on every sight. Absolutely terrible service

      The Spirit website falsely states that if you apply for their travel card you can start earning points today. If you fall for that you will not be able to get points on your current purchase and have to wait for the card to be mailed before use and if you show them their offer they claim it is not true. Their customer service will not escalate the issue and reply with a dismissive boiler plate answer. The solution was simple take the flight confirmation codes and ***** the 3x Spirit points that should have been earned. It is a misleading practice and just bad customer service acting in bad faith.

      Spirit lost our carseat coming home from vacation from ******* to ************. After waiting hours in ******************** with 3 small children trying to locate our carseat we were told it was in "********** "?. They gave us a loaner carseat to put my 3 yr old in to drive home 2 hrs and said they would be in touch and we would get reimbursed if they couldn't locate carseat. During that time we received conflicting info and LIES from "they couldn't find our carseat" to "it's at an auction in ************? WHAT? When submitting a claim we were told I had to submit a receipt for the carseat in order to get reimbursed! A carseat that was received as a gift from my old coworkers. Even if it wasn't a gift -why would I still have a receipt years later?! They said they would reimburse us 90$! What carseat is worth 90$?! The loaner carseat they gave us costs more! DISGUSTING! PARENTS DO NOT FLY WITH SPIRIT.

      They took ****** on Feb 4th out my account I didnt fly with them nor purchased a ticket with them and dont want to refund me poor service scammers

      I feel that Spirit is an entity that preys on people to get more money because some of us go through third parties to receive a better deal. I booked a flight was *********** and received a confirmation for ***** US dollars. The flight said that i was supposed to leave February the 27th at 12:48 am. Quite naturally, anyone could have assumed that this flight was scheduled in chronological order. When a day is presented Month, Day, that is how it should be. I didnt book a ticket to get home on the 26th at midnight, i booked it for the 27th. I went thru H***

      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to seek assistance regarding an unresolved issue with Spirit Airlines, specifically their Free Spirit Rewards Program. Despite multiple attempts to cancel my membership in the program, which costs $69.95 per year, my efforts have been met with significant challenges, and the issue remains unresolved.Over the past week, I have made numerous attempts to contact Spirit Airlines through various channels, including phone calls, text messages, live chats, and emails, in an effort to cancel my membership in the Free Spirit Rewards Program. Unfortunately, these attempts have either been ignored or inadequately addressed, leaving me without a clear resolution and further exacerbating my frustration.Given the lack of response and action from Spirit Airlines, I felt compelled to reach out to my credit card company to dispute and cancel the charge directly. This step, while necessary, has added an additional layer of complexity and inconvenience to what should have been a straightforward process.I believe that consumers have the right to cancel services and memberships without undue hardship, and businesses have a responsibility to ensure that such processes are clear, efficient, and user-friendly. My experience with ********************** has been far from this standard, and I am concerned that other customers may be facing similar challenges.I am requesting the BBB's assistance in resolving this matter. Specifically, I would like Spirit Airlines to:Acknowledge and process the cancellation of my Free Spirit Rewards Program membership immediately.Refund the annual fee of $69.95 charged for the program.Review and improve their customer service processes to ensure that future cancellation requests are handled promptly and efficiently.I appreciate the BBB's attention to this matter and look forward to your support in reaching a fair resolution.       Made a mistake while adding baggage thought I was adding checked baggage each way on my flight from *** to ***. Noticed I had checked one carry on and one check on one leg instead of checked both ways. They refused to change the carry on to checked on return flight. They gave me a future credit for carryon which must be used in 90 days. It was a simple mistake but because of their policies I ended up having to spend additional $64 to have checked baggage on return flight. The simple thing to do was change carry on to checked which had cost more than check to begin with and this wouldnt be an issue. They are taking advantage of people because if honest mistakes. Based on this I dont recommend using them.

      They mishandled our baggage, they didnt put it on our flight and we had to drive to another airport to retrieve it, completely interrupting our vacation & costing us more money. When trying to file a claim I get sent around in circles and end up being told our information is invalid. Complete scam.

      I live in LA , i booked a flight for my daughter's in ******* a 1 day trip. **** from my phone my daughter's name was entered in correctly . I waited 2 hrs on chat ..2 hrs. ******* asked me to confirm.flight and email I did. Then.said had to have a passport or ID uploaded to chsnge it. I couldn't provide that from LA ..then agent asked me to pay $89 for luggage savings. My girls have no luggage. I asked for a manager. The agent said sorry we can't help you, hate to loose you have a great day. I have no words.
