      I paid four bags for a flight going to Memphis from Orlando. The flight was delayed a few hours three to be exact. I was told that I didn't have to check the bags into an hour before I arrived 2 hours before the delay time which the flight was delayed after midnight at 1:22 a.m. when I got there to check my bags no one was at the check in gate. I was charged an additional $200 for my bags.

      Spirit Florida employees are incredibly lazy and offer no help when asked when doing the self baggage dropoff the machine wouldn't work. Five hour delays mixed with 7 different gate changes.

      Doubled-down on how horrible of a company they are. My flight arrived at 11:50pm. We were told that we couldn't pull into our gate (or any gate) because the previous plane couldn't leave until paperwork was completed. We sat on the tarmac until 3am until we could deplane. Spirit sent me a $50 voucher to say "sorry". I went to use the voucher on a $35 flight + $50 bag, and it wouldn't apply. I sat on the phone for 3 hours to finally talk to a representative that said the voucher doesn't cover baggage, taxes or fees. So the only thing the voucher would cover is the base fare, which for that flight was $2.74, and because that value is so small, the voucher isn't registering online. Thank you, Spirit, for a voucher that won't apply to any of the charges involved in the tickets you offer...

      Would give 0 stars if possible. Canceled my flight for no reason an hour before check in. I had to scramble for last minute tickets and paid a hefty amount to fly on a reputable airline. DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE! It is a scam

      Spirit is the worst airline to travel with. Bad weather comes unexpectedly and Spirit airlines flights always get canceled during bad weather. They dont accommodate their customers with free meal voucher or free hotel room voucher due to cancellations because of them. Its a horrible airline to travel with

      Spirit airline sent me an email staying. My spirit saver club renewal was going to be automatically taken from my account. And I could cancel if I go online as part of (their email) after contacting spirit customer service. I was told. No, you cannot automatically cancel your spirit savers online. And you can only do it through their customer service even though their email states otherwise. Then if you ask to talk to a supervisor about this issue, they put you on hold and won't pickup.Buyer beware...

      I wouldnt even give a one star rating if it was an option. Spirit Airlines has the worst customer service of any company I have ever experienced. They waste your time, put you on hold repeatedly, mislead you, book you On flights that are incorrect, hang up on you, promise fares that are not available when scheduled and payed for. Very incompetent employees and less than acceptable service all around. Absolutely disgusted with Spirit Airlines.

      Our flight is scheduled to take off at 2:30. They delayed for one hour and after they had us board delayed for another hour. This is the last time I fly spirit airlines.

      Somehow the website allowed me to DOUBLE book the EXACT same flight for the SAME person SAME time SAME day and they would not allow me to cancel without paying $150 fee, sending a photo of my id, and a photo of the card I paid the $150 with (mind you I'm a free spirit rewards card holder and this is how they treated me). This should be ILLEGAL.I'm absolutely disgusted and after this trip is over and I use up the small amount of points left on the card, I'm saying GOOD-BYE and good riddance to this company. Flying spirit SEEMS to be cheaper but all the extra nonsense they put you through, you pay with your time and sanity.

      This company offered a discount ticket and has now cancelled or change my flight twice. How it is legal to bait-and-switch people who buy a ticket is beyond me. When I call them on the phone, they are rude and act like it is my fault that they oversell tickets and then cancel whole planes full of passengers.Why is the *** not clamping down on this criminal organization that defrauds customers. I wouldn't have bought a ticket with them if I had known they would do this.
