      spirit airlines canceled my flight back on July 21st 2024. I tried to reschedule a flight home and booked a flight but then I canceled the flight and booked another to get home. I contacted spirit on several occiasions in chance to get my money back on the the first flight that I booked to return home. I spoke with a manager and she stated since I didn't follow the rule of cancelling my flight 24 hr and 7 days prior (which I couldn't due to the face they canceled my orginal flight) spirit stated they can't refund my money but due to their policy spirit would issue me a credit. I recieved email confirmations and saw the credit on my spirit app. In the midst of all this before I recieved the credit I did try and have my bank WSFS get a refund from spirit airlines. The young lady ***** from **** stated they couldn't get me a refund due to the fact the spirti airlines issued me a credit and to contact them. I contacted them today and I spoke to Bless and she said they took the refund back due to the same issue of not canceling 24hr and 7 days prior but this is why spirit issued me the credit in the first place espesically since I booked another flight within a few minutes of spirit canceling my original flight. DO NOT fly spirit no matter how cheap the flight is. They have no customer service in person or on the phone. I am now out over $1200 dollars due to the fact that spirit canceled my orginal flight to begin with.

      1 star is actually to much for this airline Unreliable. Delayed flight, got on plane delayed 2 more hours. Cancelled flight. Left stranded. Had to rent a hotel Layover flight was also delayed by several hours . Lost a full day at hotel in *****. Very poor customer service. Airline changed their story for the reason fir the delay several times. I would not recommend this airline. Do not fly Spirit airlines.

      If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never had a good experience with spirit. The low price flights are a SCAM! They will nickel and dime you for everything. They will often times loose my luggage and this last time I was double charged for my luggage. When I asked for a refund they basically just said they couldnt do anything about it. It might seem appealing to get the cheap flight but when it is all said and done it usually costs more and there is a very high probability the flight will take off hours later than planned.

      Thry don't deserve 1 star. That's too much. Do not buy tickets with this airline. I can't count on 6 sets of hands how much i tried to get a refund after 1Oct 2024 and an extension to use the credit. Absolutely no help. It is like the do all of this to keep your money. Please make a better choice than Spirit. I will walk to my destination before I would ever buy a ticket from this horrible airline. No reason their profits are down nobody wants to go thru all of this ratchetness

      This is a terrible airline to fly with. Do not recommend at all. My daughter had a flight from Houston, Texas to Minneapolis Minnesota and upon check in at Houston told her she could not fly because her children were misbehaving. They did send her luggage ahead with our her. She called spirit because they said she was a no show. She was there though. Filing a complaint is hell and not easy. Filed the complaint and yes they did refund her a voucher to fly again. Tried to book her another flight it was saying invalid code. Well if you call and book with a person they charge you a service fee of $25 a ticket. Well got her booked had to pay and extra $119.00. Then when she got the email it said she had to pay another $153.00 for seats. I had asked and asked about everything and they assured me that everything was good. Then trying to get her luggage was a joke also. They told me the hours were 6am to 10 am and again from 6pm to 10 pm. I went there, drove 60 minutes to the Minneapolis airport had to pay for parking to get there and find out they were closed and their hours are 10am to 5pm. I called the spirit number and they said sorry nothing we can do .. Everyone we talked to was very, very rude and when I asked to talk to a supervisor they flat out said no. I would never ever recommend this airlines to anyone. If your a single mother with small children do not fly with them .. horrible horrible. Then they said they would hold her luggage for 6 days but called her on day three and said she needed to pick them up by the end of the day they would not hold them. The people we talked to on the phone said that she could have her luggage sent to and address, but then these other people said no we don't do that ... I get her children may have been misbehaving but it was excitement and nerves because they have never flown before. The airline should have a little more understanding.... I wouldn't even give them a one star but had to to continue with this review.

      I wish I could give zero stars. Flight delayed 3 times, then after 5 hours of waiting, told the flight was cancelled. Representative at gate was rude. **************** is terrible. Then they only want to give you $30 for a cancelled flight. They were announcing no updates. Stay away from spirit, if you enjoy traveling.

      My return flight from ************** to *************** was canceled one week before departure. When I called to question why the flight was canceled no one could tell me why The flight had been canceled. The first ************** I spoke to said that there was space on a flight that was leaving two days later and I would have to pay an additional $350 for that flight. I escalated my complaint to a supervisor and was able to get The flight that left two days later without paying an additional fee. Now I am stranded in ************** for an additional two days because spirit only flies Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. I was not offered any additional compensation. I have to pay for two nights of a hotel because Spirit chose to cancel my flight without reason.

      Zero stars. I’ve never had such a terrible experience with an airline until Spirit. Our flight was 3 hours late to where we missed getting our rental car due to the rental car place closing at 1am, then nobody could tell us how to get an Uber, then the gate agent left our bag in Phoenix in which we had to wait 17 hours to get a new bag . This has happened to multiple people. This airline should be fined a hefty fine

      I made reservations the end of Dec 2024 for 2. It wouldnt allow me to add baggage. I waited for my payment to post to my account and then started calling to add bags to my Feb1 round trip flight. They said to wait until I got my e-tickets. Since I didnt get those by Jan 31st, I called. They said my reservations were canceled ( not by me!) I asked if she could replace it. She said she could and add baggage. The cost for the flight and luggage was more than double ( luggage was tripled) I would have gone with another airline at this point but my niece had purchased a separate ticket for the same flight. She had no problems. It was like bait and switch.

      Had a flight with this airline, came with a carry on and they charged me $100 for a carry on! $100 dollars! Guys whats this about? First time, and LAST i ever flight with this airline again!
