      ****** ******** in ************************ 4 spirit refused to let us take our stroller that goes overhead inside the plane because the plane was too full after they had us wait 2 hours delayed. Last time we flew they lost our gate checked stroller and car seat for a week and half which is why we bought an overhead one travel stroller to prevent our kids from not having our stroller at destination. We paid extra for 3 carry ons to ensure they wouldnt complain and she said we didnt we showed her our purchase confirmation she still refused to let us bring the stroller in while having a nasty attitude. When I asked her to have in mind I have a 2 year old and a baby under one she proceeded to say so what. I asked if there was a way to guarantee it wouldnt get lost again and she said no nothing no one can do while being unbelievably rude and nasty. I do not think this woman should be working a customer service position At all! I understand they cant always accommodate you but if Im paying money for a flight thats pays for your paycheck at least be kind and polite instead of rude and nasty *******

      THE WORST EVER airline. They will trick you with lower fares and then put you in the situation where you have no options to rip you off charging SO much money for any carry on or check-in luggages. No device charging outlet in our seats either. DO NOT fly with Spirit. This company should not exist.

      If I could rate lower I would. My ticket did not include a carry on and was forced to pay $99 at the gate to get it checked because paying for it to be a carry on wasnt an option. Once I was in the plane there were countless places I could have put my luggage in the overhead compartments. No one checked to make sure I checked my bag either, so I believe if I hadnt done anything I could have just gone through, so felt like I got scammed a bit. When I went to pick up my bag, one of the wheels was broken off and now the rollers are off balance, effectively unusable. I spent 2 hours waiting on customer service to just be told to file a claim and within an hour it was rejected as they claimed it was normal ware and tear. Im extremely frustrated and mad at Spirit Airlines for deceiving and forcing me to pay an unnecessary fee and then proceeding to break my luggage. Im not usually the kind to leave a review like this but this was such a terrible experience I wanted it to be known.

      If I could rate Spirit for less, I would. I had an issue they attempted to resolve in November 2024, where I was not able to board my flight due to overbooking. They provided me with a voucher to use for future flights. Fast forward to 01/17/2024, I booked a flight and used the voucher (total was $1,409.88 - Voucher amount was $999 and out of pocket was $410.88). Spirit as usual, stated there was a flight change on 01/24/2024. I made changes to my flight and received and invoice stating the voucher was used for $999 and I only paid $170.88 out of pocket. This means there was a difference from what I paid which results in them owing me $240. Its been 5 days and I have not received a refund for the difference. I decide to reach out to Spirit via chat. According to their staff and supervisors, the funds I had paid on the original flight ($410.88) and the voucher ($999) from the original flight to cover the total, what was not listed is that they used less than what the voucher was for and used my full funds. At this point, I am sick of Spirit and will be escalating my issue further because there is no way they can continue to deceive customers who pay.

      *****. Changed my flight from a 2 hour direct flight to a transferring flight with a 6 hour travel time, offered nothing for this egregious change in schedule nor did they offer to pay for additional costs I would incur having two separate flights

      Terrible customer service. I bought a round way ticket from *************** to ************. I had to switch flight in ***********. After being there for 2 hours they came on stating the flight has been cancelled. I spent 375 dollars just to get from *********** to *********. Now *** Id number 356 is staying I have to file a complaint to get my refund. So here I am filing a complaint. I need my 375 back that I paid. Now I paid 430 to get back to ***** through Southwest Airlines and need that funds back also. *** states that I can only speak to a supervisor and NOT a manager

      No wonder they are bankrupt!!!! Extenuating circumstances to reset a password could take 30 days. Told me to update the app 3 days ago and started chaos. Unable to update a password. Get grilled like Im a criminal instead of a 9 time RT passenger since 8/22. Good bye and good riddance and hope you choke on my remaining 4333 points!!!!

      There should be negative numbers on here as well bc thats exactly what I would rate Spirit Airline. Completely unorganized, and more delays than all other airlines combined (exaggerated). This is hands down the worst airline *** ever had to use. I used them for the first and last time for my husbands birthday trip. We were late arriving to our destination and late coming back home. Both of our flights were delayed by more than 2 hours separately. One of our flights didnt have a crew to fly us so instead of leaving at our scheduled time of 820pm we ended up leaving at 120am. This company either needs to have new management/ownership or just no longer be in business

      TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We were on a ********************** flight to ** and our checked bag never made it onto our flight and was left in *******. We were told that we would get our bag the next day, however this did not happen. We filed a missing bag report and never received any updates. We spent all day trying to get a hold of someone that could give us an update on where our bag was, however we were met with terrible customer service on every call. We were hung up on, left on hold for hours when told we were going to be transferred to a supervisor, and sent to voicemail serval times. ******************************* bag. We will absolutely not being flying Spirit airlines ever again and do not recommend that anyone else does in the future. We just want to know where our bag is.

      I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with Spirit Airlines. My family and I were scheduled to take a Christmas vacation flight to ******* on December 20, 2024. All of us were eager to travel to ******* for the first time. The aircraft was scheduled to depart on time, but when we arrived at the airport, it was delayed. The flight attendant's 40-minute delay was the first reason given. The second reason is that we boarded the plane at 12:40 am on December 21st and waited for approximately an hour because we just needed fuel. The third reason for an additional hour was that some travelers would not be able to catch their connection flight to their destination and would have to find another Fourth excuse: all 35 passengers' bags needed to be unloaded, which took an additional hour. It was really draining to wait in the plane for four hours without any complimentary drinks and with a toddler. After the terror we had while waiting for so long inside the plain, they finally called flight. The staff told us to try to rebook to the following flight by going downstairs. Nobody ever showed up despite everyone's requests to speak with a manager or supervisor. Nothing was available until 12:30 p.m. on the aircraft to ***** on December 21st; there were no other flights that day that would have allowed us to get to our destination. Our family's Jamaican holiday had to be canceled because to an inconsiderate airline that doesn't give a **** about people's plans, just reimburses money, and doesn't consider how much people spent planning their trip, taking time off work, and paying for their hotel without receiving reimbursement.
