      The worst airline ever spirit airlines need to be shut down . They steal your money and dont accommodate when its their fault. I was giving false information from the airline I never knew you had to go in and check in due to you having a in lap child they charged me 226 then tired to charge me and external charge of 99 dollars for the 8 of feb flight because they didnt have any flights for the day . Then I didnt know they have a cut off for accepting check ins . My flight was for 343pm ( not crowded at all I had enough time ) they cut of check in at 240pm thats bogus never knew they did any cut off in the matter . Then spirit customer service told booking .Com to not refund me when they was trying to help me . I also had my 1 yr old with me and it was cold I had to go back home and contact them for them just to talk to me like Im a idiot when I understand everything that was going on . False information and disrespectful customer service. They stealing from the people and we want justice .

      The website does not work. When you try and call no answer for over an hour. The chat they do not answer. The airline service is impossible to schedule, book or get help. No one answers and the phone, no one answers the chat, then they say they will get back to you in 30 days.The worst

      Gate agent was very rude and had me size my bag, which was fine, but my bag fit into the sizer and she wouldnt let it pass because my belt strap sticks out a touch, even though it wouldve squeezed into the space if there was any pressure at the top. Definitely shady business practices. Made worse by her snapping her fingers and clacking her nails at me the entire time, and being very rude in her language.

      Absolutely the most frustrating experience ever for every aspect of traveling. Their website is virtually non-functional most of the time. We attempted to get our SuperSaver discount on a bag, but there was no way to do so, so we attempted to cancel the bag, which was $58, and after getting through after a 50 minute wait to chat, told the agent to forget the bag when she couldn't give the discount. The next day the bag was on, but it was $66 each way. No way to cancel it online, so found a phone number here on BBB, which had an actual person answer without a long hold. She was helpful and got the discount. This company has very poor customer service, practically impossible to speak to a human being, their chat bot is worthless, and I would never recommend them.

      Please use another airline. Spirit steals your money. I was to take a flight back in 2021, got Covid and had to cancel. They gave me a credit but only gave me 90 days to use it. I am what you call a long hauler for Covid. Well, needless to say they would not honor the credit past the 90 days. So they stole $246 of my money. Just spend the extra. Totally not worth it.

      First time flying with Spirit and the last time. Within 3 weeks of booking, they had already changed my flight two times, and when -- after hours of trying to speak to a human and not a bot -- I was finally able to converse with a human, she could give me NO reason as to why my flight was changed twice. Will it change again? She couldn't answer that. Seems like a scam to me where they hook people with reasonable times and then change them to awful times that mess up trips with no real way to remedy the problem. No compensation or remedy was offered. The second time my trip was changed was also after I had spent an hour online "talking" to a bot about the first change. Also, this is from someone who has flown Allegiant many times with great success. I understand that there are extra fees and that water costs extra with a discount airline. Constantly changing flights for no reason makes it extremely hard for travelers to plan, however. What a joke of a company.

      129$ for one piece of luggage. Prepaid 60$ and we got there and thought 50Lbs was the weight but spirit airlines in conveniently 40lbs. We were 8 pounds over and had to pay an additional 79$.

      I enjoy travelling the globe so I recently decided to use Spirit Airlines to Travel back home to ***** ******* from ************ *********** on January 30, **** at 1:37 pm Flight Number ****. The only male Spirit attendant that was at the boarding gate was pulling everyone aside after having their boarding passes scanned to check that each person's personal item fit accordingly with the max *********** requirements. He would yell at the passengers telling them that they could not touch the bag nor push the bag into the *********** slot. He said that the bag needed to slide in by itself to be the appropriate ***********s. Furthermore, he announced numerous times that all food purchased from outside the airport was not allowed onboard the plane. That those foods needed to go into your personal item if not it would have to be thrown away. When it was my husband and my turn, he asked me for the receipt for my bag of food and said that if I did not show proof of purchase at the airport, I would either have to throw the food away or simply not get on the plane. Again, I travel a lot. I travel each and every month to a different location and I have never felt so offended and upset at the behavior of this particular Spirit Employee. When he started yelling at me, I raised my voice even louder because I will not allow for anyone to speak to me the way he attempted to. It is as if he needed to be and feel he was in authority. From my end, I will never use Spirit Airlines again. What a disgust of an airline.

      Wont allow you to cancel Membership . No where on the site for you to cancel you membership. Force you to chat wiht automated bot. After 1 hour of getting same message . working on this...They ask If I would reconsider my membership. ..NO CANCEL.. PLease hold.. Completely unethical ! DO NOT FLY WIH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS!
