      Spirit Airlines is the worst reliable airline. They cancelled my flight, ( they said because of weather which is common for them), no other flights were cancelled. Cost me $450. for a new flight with a new airline. Then I complained, they gave me a $50. to use on another flight that was unusable. I took pictures of the process. I will be making a formal complaint to the ** of ******* and hopefully others do the same. This business is unreliable and deceptive. *****

      Gave my wife tickets on *********** day for our 40th wedding anniversary. A week later the flights were 100 dollars a piece cheaper. They want $100 per ticket to change the tickets to the same flights on the same day. If I cancel the reservation altogether I have 90 days to rebook but yet they charge me $100 per ticket to bank my tickets. I want to congratulate spirit airlines on being the number one airline in 2022 with the most complaints. Usually you get a discount for booking ahead of time. I guess we're helping to pay for the empty seats they have in the flight. I only wish them the worst and hope they go out of business. They are such a Mickey ***** airline nickel and diming you for every conceivable

      I flew to and from *********** ******* with Spirit. When headed home not only did i have to pay for my luggage that was supposedly over their weight limit but i noticed that my luggae was busted open upon transport in *******. I spoke with someone at TSA and was informed that i needed to speak with someone at the next airport . When i arrived at home in **** i found that my luggage was damaged even more . At this point i was ****** because not only was my luggage shredded at the top but i had valuables as well as suiveneers that were irreplaceable. I went on to speak with someone at the airport and was unsuccessful because my flight was a late evening flight. A security guard at the airport told me that its hard to get in touch with spirit and that they usually as security guards have to handle these situations . At this point my time is almost exhausted to recieve money or replacement for my luggage as well as misplaced items . I have contacted this airline multiple times since my arrival back home via email, phone call as well as their chat service with no help but foreigners who cant help me or automated services that can only give repetative responses. I just said all that to say that i want my luggage and items replaced in a timely manner .

      I had purchased a one way ticket to the Dominican Republic , I had already checked in on line and when I go to check in my bag the agent said I had to buy a return ticket or else she wouldn’t give me a boarding pass . I knew that was a lie but I didn’t want to miss my flight. The agent said not to worry about it that all I had to do was cancel the flight.and so I purchased the ticket but 2 days later when I called to cancel the agent on the phone said I would be charged a $69 fee for cancel and that they will only give me a credit towards another flight with them. I found their customer service to be rude and unprofessional and I don’t wish to fly spirit airline ever again.

      I would give less stars if available! Spirit canceled my original flight and had me rebook. I went to rebook and they only had a flight that got me to my destination a day after I was supposed to. I rebooked because I had to make it to my destination but in the chat told them I'd only rebook if I was guaranteed that if in the future there was a better flight that I could change again at no additional cost. The chat representative said yes. Another flight opened up that would get me there the same day as the original but Spirit refused to change me to that flight without paying a fee. Absolutely a disrespectful and dishonorable company!!!

      I lost money and was treated like trash by them in ***************. They made it so I missed my connecting flight, then made me fly to another airport that was further from my destination, making it so I had to get an Uber which costed $200. If I wanted a flight into ****** I would of paid the cheaper airfare. We got messed over on our car rental and my 9 year old was crying because it took 24 hours to get to a place that takes ******************************************* and said everything was weather related when there was no weather. He said my 3 hour hold on cell was weather. They hung up was weather. It was pure h*** I would love to *** them, but I can't afford it. I watched a girl worker on the way back be nasty to people going on a flight while she played on her phone. Worst trip ever.

      Spirit lost my luggage and will not give me any updates. They did not put my luggage on the plane and it's now been move than 24 hours and no one will tell me what is going on. I have no idea where my suitcase is. I need my things and no one can tell me or will tell me what is going on!!!

      I had purchased round trip tickets with the flexible flight option for the whole family (4) An issue came up and had to change to a later flight in the day. Contacted customer service. Was told in order to change flight it would be over $800. I said I would have the family go on the earlier flight and I would just purchase a new ticket for myself for the later. **************** told me they would mark my departure flight as a no show so I would lose my return flight later in the week if I did so!? Spirit airlines will ***** you at every turn. You pay extra for a flex flight option, though it doesnt actually have any benefits. I will never use spirit airlines again. The way they treat customers is disgusting. Makes you lose hope in humanity just a little more.

      WORST AIRLINE IN THE ****** I have flown everywhere but truly Spirit needs to investigated by the government and SHUT DOWN. 1) In ****** (International flight), we spent 4 hours to get to the gate, and at the gate they cancelled our flight. It took us another 3 hours to depart the airport. They would not pay for a hotel because they said it was weather related but we found out the pilots would get paid overtime so they said "weather related," so they don't have to spend on hotels. The next flight back to US was 2 days later!!!!!!! 2) My travel agent booked our flights (we didnt realize it was Spirit). Spirit completely changed all our flights for our family vacation so some peoples tickets didnt get changed and some peoples did get changed to HORRIBLE flights with layovers. It took me 2 hours on the phone to receive any service and then BOOM disconnected.WORST AIRLINE EVER.GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE SPIRIT AIRWAYS

      They are a crooked company. Do not fly with them. They delayed my flight by 6 hours and gave me a $50 flight credit which they now wont even let me use. I actually have high blood pressure from dealing with them and their rude staff. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. CROOKS AND THEIVES.
