      This is the worth customer service I ever received. Flight attendance are rude and unprofessional. They will discriminate base on gender. Never ever again will fly with them.

      I flew to lasvegas arrived with my suitcase taped up and damaged contents missing. Followed spirit’s manager steps and did the online claim and it was denied I just couldn’t beleave it. Had to purchase a new suitcase to fly home . My brand new suitcase didn’t make it back to DFW airport wheel broken off, big hole punched out of the side and a rubber foot missing . Went to baggage service for spirit . They gave my a card with a QR code it also wouldn’t work because of technical difficulties with thier end spoke to several supervisors on phone after trying thier text/online hep chat help so I called several #s that couldn’t help me and then they hang up / disconnect with you . I have looked up several different ways for help ! I think spirit does this on purpose to avoid fixing any problems

      If possible I would give 0 stars. I have always heard terrible things about spirit but in spite of this. My family and I chose to book with Spirit airlines. Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away this week and my family needed to get out to Atlanta because the funeral is happening on Monday. Our flight was scheduled to leave at 3:55pm. My mother, brother and I arrived at the airport well in enough time to make our flight. When we arrived for some reason the fire alarm was going off. When trying to check in the Spirit representatives told us several contradicting stories. At first they said the gate was closed but we stated that our flight was not supposed to take off until 3:55pm so that was not possible. Then they told us that they were no longer taking checked bags because they couldn’t be sent back due to alarm going off. In the end my family and I ended up missing our flight because of things that had nothing to do with us. Not accommodations or remorse was shown by the ticketing agent or the phone representatives. It was very disheartening and poor customer service.

      I received a flight delay notice @ 6 hours before departure. The first notice said the flight was delayed by 40 minutes. The second notification was an hour. Upon arrival at the gate myself and @ 10 others were told the flight took off on time. We were directed to customer service who told us the plane was still there. We went back to the gate to find the nothing. No one cared that we were stranded or acknowledged the airline made a mistake. I was forced to sleep on the airport floor and missed a days work due to this screw up. I was put on a flight the next day however, nothing was done to accommodate me. No offer for a hotel, a refund, a discount, or at the very least, a meal. In trying to contact SPIRIT AIRLINES, I couldn't speak with an individual and that the time of this complaint I've been on a text hold for an hour and a half. This is by far the absolute worst airline I've ever dealt with.

      When you book spirit airlines, you understand the deal you are making. You get a cheap flight with no leg room, no food or water, ridiculous baggage fees, you probably won't leave on time or arrive on time, the flight attendants will forget the flight number (actually happened), and you will be made to cram your carry on into a metal bin in while 1/3rd of planes passengers grumpily stare at you to prove you don't have to pay $80 to store it in the overhead bin. If you checked a car seat, golf clubs, or skis, then the oversized bagged handler won't be present and you will be required to wait an hour and a half to find a confused employee who has never done the job to pass out people's belongings. This is all expected because when you arrive at your tropical destination you will have an extra $30 to $50 for a massage to forget it all.I am sad to say Spirit will break this deal.If you miss a connecting flight for any reason other than "mechanical" they will rebook you for the following day but not provide a hotel, transport, food, or anything else. We missed the last leg of our flight due to a combination of the plane leaving late because they thought everyone boarded and realized a bus of people were still waiting outside, the plane being stuck on the runway because the gate was taken, then spirit deemed my duffel bag as oversized so it came out 15 mins after all other bags. We were rebooked for 8 hours later left to fend for ourselves with a 10 month old baby at 9pm in the ************** airport.The only good part of our flight is I can now happily say I will never be on a spirit plane again.

      I've flown with them for many years, 2022 I start the free spirit points. I just recently got the cc for them and the free spirit number is not the same as my established account. No one could help me with customer service, they can't combine the accounts and I can't use any of the points on the other account complete *** ***

      Spirit airlines is a unprofessional rip off I will not book another flight with them they took over 500 dollars from me because my son was in the hospital with documentation I still was not compensated for my flight

      Flight cancelled 5 minutes before takeoff without explanation. Flight reservation credit expired without notification after being told that reservation credit was good until January 2023. **************** representatives kept dropping my calls or deferring to another representative. I was deferred to at least 6 representative during this call. No one was able to assist or even help direct me to the appropriate department. Therefore, I was not able to have this issue resolved. I usually fly & recommend Spirit Airlines to other business ******************* but after this ordeal I question the reputation of Spirit Airlines.

      Spirit does not honor their word after a ticket is purchase, they overcharge in fees, they sell away already purchase seats, they dared to charge me extra on seats you already purchased in advance. They do not apologize and care less and being that I was charged 3x during my trip and for bids never purchased, they didn't even offer to upgrade at complimentary, no they went ahead and made me pay even after I showed them proof of purchased ticket, they also wanted to sit me in back seats, when i had purchase front window seat. My seats were sold and I had to purchase other seats one was given at a window seat and other was not. I was also humiliated in front of other passengers during this trip and agents continued as if nothing happened. Never again will I travel with spirit and neither give referrals as I use to. I requested my refunds for overcharging and extra charges they did to my bank account and they denied my refund. So you can imagine how upset and frustrated I am at this situation.

      So I'm I arrive to the airport at 8 am only to find out my flight was delayed to 10:58am ... I get to the gate and 10:28 am because the server at the bar was taking a while to close me out at the bar and I was going based on my ticket that the boarding closed at 10:40am. Once I get to the gate the guy at the counter told me I missed my flight at 10:28am when it says gate closed at 10:40 am. He still maintained the gate opened 5 minutes after claiming he called me and another passenger multiple times when that was not even the case.
