      My aunt's flight that was scheduled for this morning was cancelled last evening. She was scheduled to fly to ***********, where she lives. After waiting on hold for more than an hour and 20 minutes, a representative finally answered our call. When he was unable to assist us, we asked to speak with a supervisor. After another hour on hold, and only after demanding from Chat Rep to speak with a manager, did the manager (*****) answer the phone. Much to our surprise, both employees were very apathetic to the situation and provided no resolution to our issue. The only answer we were given was that the cancellation was due to some "weather anomaly" that only affected this flight (none others). It seems suspicious, if not even just a downright lie, to say that the flight was cancelled due to weather. The weather in both ******* (currently 44 and sunny, 4mph wind) and ****** (currently 39 and sunny with 9mph winds) are beautiful. I have also checked the weather from here to ******* and the entire route has beautiful weather. To make matters even more suspicious, there are other flights traveling to ******* (and the surrounding areas today, including Spirit flight **** at 355pm. One could only surmise that the reason provided to me regarding the cause for the flight cancellation was not "weather" but was in fact because the plane was undersold. My aunt, who is sickly, is in need of her medications from *********, but she is now unable to get to them. We are hoping by the ***** of God that we are able to get her meds in time. Additionally, she will now have additional parking fees incurred as well as boarding fees for her dogs (in which she shelters rescues), which she now must pay an additional $1,200. Other airlines do not seem to have any issue with flying, which begs the question, is the cancellation due to "weather" because your planes are in disrepair, because your pilots are ill-trained, or is it just because the reason or "weather" was a lie?

      Spirit airlines is horrible and very inconsiderate. I took a flight to ******* on 12/27/22 and the flight left later than the normal time, which caused ** to arrive late. When we arrived the plan could not pull up and unload us due to the gate being utilized. We had to sit on the plane for an additional hour waiting for an available gate. Please do not fly spirit. You will be disappointed. It never fails with them its always something! *************** is so huge there had to be another gate we could have pulled up to instead of inconveniencing everyone. Especially the people who missed their connecting flights. This is soooooooo horrible.

      Worst airline! Delayed 4 hours then cancelled because they couldnt find a pilot! Thanks for ruining my familys vacation! Spirit can't re-book us until after the Christmas break, so no vacation for my family! And Im out $313 for hotel no-show! Oh, and according to Spirit, they are "Legally" not responsible for any fees I incurred because of their cancellation. So not only do we no longer have a family Christmas vacation, I'm out $313 because of them! And not to mention the 8 hours my family had to sit at the airport and on the plane only to find out the flight had been cancelled!

      An absolute JOKE of an airline. My partner was supposed to take a flight out of ****** and it was cancelled 30 mins before boarding due to bad weather. Which they should have known about way ahead of time. They then put him on a flight a week later a WEEK later without even offering any hotel for him to stay at in the mean time. Absolutely the biggest scam and complete s*** customer service!!! Do not fly with these people!

      Horrible airlines. Expect delays and cancellations without same day flights as well as costumer service that does not help with what you request.

      Spent a week in airport had 5 flights canceled while flights are still going to my destination. Treated rude and disrespectful. Luggage with contents costing $700+ was just lost with no idea where it was or what happened to it. Was never offer a room or upgraded ticket. Completely missed my holiday with my family when i bought my ticket weeks in advance. To top it all off i have not received a refund for my ticket nor reason as to why. Im am behind disqualified i will continue to spread awareness of this "so called " company spirit airlines and the horrendous treatment you will endore while a guest of there services.

      Unreachable by phone or chat (up to 5 hr wait times) no reimbursement for flight cancellations, even if its their fault will only rebook you next week if youre lucky. No assistance or recourse available if youre stranded

      Wasted my time and money. Had to reschedule my flight with **** a specialist because of an accident. Made me pay over $600 just for my flight to be canceled with no notice. Was on the way to the airport and logged on to check in- flight canceled. No email or anything. Tried to get ahold of customer service rep for over 7 hours with no reply. Contacted through text, call, and email. So disrespectful and extremely disappointed. WILL NOT and will NEVER let anyone I know book with spirit again

      Absolutely shady outfit, feels like dealing with mafia. I had to cancel my 2022 xmas morning flight from ******* to ********* four days before flying. I paid $140 for the flight ($60 for carry on!!!). When i cancelled they offered me a future flight credit $18...wtf!!!!! Good god i was floored! I told them as long as i live i will never ever use them and if i ever hear the word spirit i will tell whoever listening what crooks you are... absolutely mafia based! DO NOT USE THESE BOZOS!!
