      Booked a trip to *********** for my daughters 21st birthday. Unfortunately, there was a hurricane that hit *********** and theres flooding and most of the island is without electricity. I pleaded with Spirit for my money back so we can do something at home and they refused. I spoke with a supervisor which made no difference. I was given credit which I likely will not use before it expires. Never again will I give them the opportunity to steal from me.Thanks sprint.

      Spirt airlines has false advertising. They have a lot of hidden fee that u don't know about upfront. By the time u pay them the cost is doubled

      Terrible service, should not have started an airline company if they are not willing to put the time, effort and funds into making it a decent airline. Scheduled a 6:59 departure flight to ******* from ***. I kept receiving emails about delays so i called and sat on hold waiting to talk to someone for 20+ minutes. The lady was very unhelpful only offering me a same day flight change when there were no other flights out that day. How does that help me? The delay was due to maintenance needing to be done on the plane which makes me feel very unsafe to even get on the plane now. In addition, why cant they perform maintenance without impacting their customers. Will never fly with Spirit again, ill pay extra for another airline.

      Spirit Airlines lost, then didn't deliver nor offer subs for our children's seats for the entirety of our weeklong stay in ********. Instead of taking accountability for this on account of Spirit Airlines, each Spirit rep I talked to pivoted the burden of blame on someone else. No refund, compensation, remediation, or accountability was offered. Losing luggage can be understandable. Horrible customer service throughout the chain of command is not.

      Terrible customer service and policies. Cancellation pages are not up front about fees and reps refuse to send you breakdown of fees.

      I wanted to add my known flyer (TWIC) to my ticket today, but it would not work on the app, so I called. The customer service representative told me it was an issue of name discrepancy, and he asked, Is this how you spell your name: C H R I S T O P R? I replied, No, it is T O P H E ***** told me, That is the problem. You can cancel the flight, or I can fix it for a fee. I immediately asked to speak to his supervisor. His supervisor confirmed that my name was spelled incorrectly on the reservation, and that it would cost $49 to fix, or I could cancel the flight. By this time I was becoming skeptical, as I have decent attention to detail, and had seen the reservation a number of times. So, I decided to look really quick as I was speaking to the supervisor, who kept telling me I needed to pay an extra $49. And I saw it. My name was perfectly correct. No misspelling at all. I said to the supervisor, Wait a minute! I am looking at my reservation on your app, and my name is perfect. It is spelled correctly. And he hung up on me. Just a couple minutes passed and my phone rang, and a third representative was on the other side of the phone, and he informed me that everything was as I wished, and my known traveller number was added and that I could do early check in now. The gall. They were purposefully trying to extort me. This is criminal behavior.

      Spirit just ***** overall. They dont have good customer service because they dont have good organization, planning, or management. They should go out of business

      We arrived at ******************* from **** ****, and ran to Spirit on the opposite side of the airport, which took about ***** minutes. We arrived at the spirit counter, I paid $139 for my luggage, and printed my boarding pass at 8:53am. There wasn't a line, and I walked to the counter, and handed my boarding pass and proof my luggage to this older Spirit representative. My flight was scheduled to leave at 9:49am to *********, I was definitely within the window of being allowed to board the plane. She looked at her computer, and said I wasn't allowed to fly on the plane, because I had missed the window of checking in. She then proceeded to crumble up my boarding pass, and said I'm not going on the flight. I said I need to speak to your supervisor-this is unacceptable. She called her, and we waited 5 minutes for her supervisor to show up. I told her I am within the window of being allowed in the plane, I have the printed boarding pass stating so-they speak to each other in their native language, and the supervisor tells me that I'm not allowed on the plane. I told her that isn't fair, and she proceeds to tell me that if I didn't speak to her with so much attitude, she would help me. I told her that she would be upset as well, if she was told she wasn't allowed on the airplane when she made it on time. Eight other people missed that flight, and a couple were re-routed to **************, 30 minutes away, and were schedule to arrive the NEXT DAY to their location. Within that hour, 30 people were in line because they were seconds of missing their flights. People were visibly frustrated and upset, but Spirit workers did not care one bit. It seems as if that's how Spirit makes their money- I paid $260 for a one way flight from ***** to ********** and $139 for my luggage- thats $400 for a one way, to get treated like c*** I will never fly with Spirit again. It's not budget fare-that's a lie.

      Last year I was told I could use a credit into this year per a supervisor if I called in by December 30th. I called but was told I could not extend it also by another supervisor. Had to file a complaint and 3 months later was given the credit to fly this year. I booked my flight in the correct time frame and 2 months later my flight was cancelled by the airline. I was offered a refund which I accepted, was told it would be for the amount of the entire flight (credit and paid amount from my credit card) but they only refunded the amount paid from my card. Nothing was done about the credit I had previously since it was not placed back onto my credit card so had to call in yet again only to find out I couldn't have the entire refund they offered me. The credit had also not been placed back on my account so if I had not called it would have just vanished. So now if I choose to use the credit I have to call in AGAIN to extend the time I can use it which I'm sure I will run into issue with this as I have had nothing but frustrations with this airline every time I call. I was told an amount that would be refunded and that's what I want. I do not want any more credits I'm done flying with this awful company. I have already filed a complaint on their website which will probably take another 3 months to hear from them. If I misquoted a customer at my job the misquote would be honored and I would be written up or let go for not doing my job accordingly.

      when i got to the airport, they played a nasty trick, claiming their "system" was down, so they could only issue handwritten boarding passes. As of result, my baggage was lost when I paid 140$ to be delivered from ******* to ***. 2 days later, I received my baggage and they said they will compensate me. Later on, when i reached out to them, they denied any of that and when i made a dispute with my credit card, they lied and showed that i didnt lose my baggage. bunch of thieves and the worst airline company in the world. there should be an investigation on how these people are allowed to run such scams and get away with it.
