I called their customer service today, but was brushed off, so I had to come here to file a complaint. I paid for the in-depth genetic testing and only received a generic outline of the results and a very generic health plan, which doesn't tell me how many milligrams of supplements I should take. I then paid for the clarity call with an expert, and the expert never called me. I tried emailing her twice, but she didn't respond. Totally wasted my evening and didn't receive an apology. I rescheduled the call with someone else. The person, ******, wasn't able to answer my questions, and all she did was read me what I already had in the *** generic outline. This isn't the service I paid for, and when I filled out the online form for the clarity call, I put information about my age, weight, medical history, and meds I take, in order to get a detailed plan that would help me based on my personal needs, but all the clarity call expert did was read from the *** I already had. This isn't what is advertised, and I expected more. There was no tailored plan to my needs, and she didn't even go over the additional information about my health that I provided. I asked the "expert" how many milligrams of TMG I'm supposed to take, and she didn't know. She didn't know if the recommended supplements were fat or water soluble. She didn't even know that 10x doesn't sell TMG and recommended I call their customer support about it. I asked how many milligrams of the 5-MTHFR I should take, and she didn't know. She only knew that the *** I had says to take 2 pill in the AM and 1 in the *** That isn't helpful at all. 10x should advertise that all you are paying for is for someone to read the *** to you, if that is all they are doing. I no longer trust that the results I got from my saliva swap are accurate, and question if they just send out random results to everyone. I trusted ************************* recommendation and now realize this is a scam, and I'd like all my money back.Initial Complaint

Business offers auto-ship on over priced supplements. They auto charge over 5 days before shipping so you have little chance to cancel. When you attempt to cancel the say it has been boxed to ship. And we have a 100% no return policy. This is an absolute racket and rip off. They charge $16.95 for shipping alone! No postage for a small box and 4oz item costs $17.Business Response

I purchased the $599 genetic testing after seeing advertising on their social media sites and their website. Based on the videos presented, I was expecting to receive two saliva swabs, testing to take 4-6 weeks for results, and a comprehensive document outlining how to achieve optimal results based on my genetics with nutrition, exercise, and supplements. When I received the test kit on 6/5, it only contained one testing swab. I mailed the testing kit back the same day around 5pm EST. My testing kit arrived to the lab on 6/7, and then I was emailed the results on 6/10.The testing of the results did not take 4-6 weeks as the documentation stated that was included with the testing kit. Im concerned about the validity of the results - the content seems to be canned content to be applied to many people.The emailed packet is *********************************************************************************************** workout recommendations. The videos imbedded in the *** are generic videos of **** speaking about each ***** None of the testing results are personalized besides my name on page 4 and the key dates referenced above. I want a refund. This is a bait and switch I sadly fell for in a time of need when trying to get control of health issues. On January 25th we purchased 3 *** test ($599 each) kits and two blood tests ($700 each) from 10X. We were told by the salesperson ****** that once we got the *** results we would also get a clarity call so we could better understand the results. We did receive the *** results (long after promised) and as of yet I have not received the blood lab results. I have called 10X numerous times and spoken with several different people saying to give them 6 weeks to get the labs and set up a call to go over them with you. I purchased this on February 28. The testing was 599 and the vitamins were $117. It says that this is personalized results but it is not your response is a cookie cutter video that goes to everyone so it is not personalized for $599 and the vitamins they say are guaranteed to see a difference in three weeks and when that did not happen, I reached out for a refund and they said there are no guarantees and they would not be issuing a refund for my money.Business Response

I understand the video may look ****ric, however the videos are used for you to understand your determined result. You can use page 3 of the *** to see your results per **** and page 4 will have the protocol you will need to follow based on your results. Pages 5-9 will have the breakdown of each **** based on your results. We would be happy to complementary review the result and have one our our wellness experts explain how these results are unique. There are 5 ****s and 245 different combinations of results. With 8 billion people in the world there does tend to be some overlap on the results. the simplification of the results delivered is intended to make some of the science more palatable. As for supplements, the supplements are based on the result recieved and will cover all of the nutrient defficiencies covered in the test. How people may feel after starting the supplementation varies based on previous supplementation, dietary and lifestyle habits, taking the protocol as advised, and the consistency of how often you are taking the supplements. I am rejecting this response because: this is not a precise and specific test as is advertised. The views they send are videos they send out to the masses, it is not a "hey ****** let me help you understand your results," they are blanket videos. Also, they state improvements within 3 months - but no changes and I felt worse taking these medications. When I quit, I felt 10x better - that is the only 10x that works here was quitting this regimen. Also, they did not tell me what my body needs, they gave me again a blanket 10x vitamin regimen - THEIR VITAMINS- with no explanation as to why the supplement would work, how it works, and what was contained in the supplement. They recommended a bottle of their stuff - which again - is a blanket treatment plan. When I reached out to say hey this made me feel worse (I feel so much better and bloating this caused in my gut finally went down) they could careless and dismissed my need and desire for a refund. They guarantee they are a legitimate company but cannot back up their product? This is a scam. They literally have a 1 start on yelp so I found that I am not the first to realize this. I want a refund.

After you declined to accept a return, I disposed of the supplements and ceased taking them. I have noticed an improvement in my well-being since discontinuing their use. It's important to recognize that one treatment plan does not suit everyone, and this service is not personalized. Your inability to support your product with a refund or guarantee suggests to me that this is an unscrupulous money-making scheme.

I purchased a PEMF Mat from 10X health. The picture of the product shows 10X Health Systems on top Super Human Protocol on the bottom with a black background and red trim. The description of the item says nothing about this being an additional cost of $500 to receive what is pictured for sale. This is an item that is sold by this company as part of their super human protocol. I ordered directly from their site. You just pay the $5000.00 plus shipping to receive it. There is a no return policy for the product. I received no instructions with my order the wrong password for the log in and when I sent a email about this and stated I did not get a Mat with the logo cover I only received a gray mat. I was sent a email saying this is an additional $500 cost and nowhere is that stated. I have taken a picture of the description and the advertised product. I have also informed the company I expect to get what I paid for and that I will be contacting the BBB to inform of false advertising. Please get me what I have paid for and make this company be truthful in what they are selling. Their stuff is not cheap. I am glad I didnt spend the ****** I wanted to spend. 2/29/24 Paid $1200 for DNA and Blood Test Paid $130 to have blood test ( Consultation )They put me on 7 bottles of supplements which I paid $160.20 and started taking them on 3/12/24 After several attempts to get my consultation (they kept canceling) I finally told them that I had not slept for two weeks since starting this supplement. So they added 8 more bottles of supplements. I did not order those 8 because they wanted another $1300 dollars. Since starting this I have been sick and my blood pressure has been extremely elevated so much so that I had to call 911 on 3/30/24 because my ** was 216/116 critical And I had severe stomach pain and nausea They gave me a ct and blood test but did not find anything they could treat I told the doctors about all the supplements from 10x and they advised to stop using them Which I did.Business Response

Each set of supplements he purchased were also all delivered in a timely manner. On 3/11/2024 ***** received his blood lab results and was scheduled for a blood lab review on 3/22/2024. As ***** stated he spoke with one of our providers on staff who explained the protocol that was recommended for blood lab results. ***** chose not to purchase those items at that time, the option to purchase still has remained available to him. The genetic test we offer guarantees the test kit and results which were provided. The supplement purchases were also delivered and can be confirmed via the tracking numbers above. The Blood lab result and lab review were also delivered and completed per the attached screenshots. I did not state anything about not receiving the supplements on time or that there was a issue with the blood or gene ******************* complaint was that they put me on 15 bottles of supplements ( Really) and the supplements made my blood pressure go to CRITICAL and I had to call 911. Its like they didnt even read the complaint and just sent some standard bs reply. I will not except anything but a Full Refund. I guess they think since there a millions dollar company they can treat poor people however they want.

The customer seems to be misunderstanding **************************'s role here. 10X Health is not a medical provider and does not provide any medical advice or recommendations to customers. Rather, a license ************************** provider is the one who reviews the results of the blood test and/or genetic test and makes recommendations accordingly. That is exactly what happened in this case. 10X Health facilitated the blood and genetic tests and sent the results to the customer and the assigned ************************** provider. Then, the healthcare provider recommended certain 10-X Health supplements to see if they would help. Not all people react the same way to supplements and each person has a different type of lifestyle.
In this instance, there is not enough information to know if the supplements actually caused the issues reported by the customer, or whether some other lifestyle choices (e.g. poor diet, smoking, lack of exercise, consumption of alcohol, etc...). Supplements are not miracles that can counter an otherwise unhealthy lifestyle, and there are no guaranteed results for such supplements because everyone is different. Additionally, it is worth noting that the customer never raised any of these issues with 10X Health or his healthcare provider. Instead, he went directly to the BBB to try to get a refund for products and services that he received and benefited from (e.g. the blood test and genetic test). 10X Health struggles to understand the logic behind requesting a refund for the blood and genetic tests when the customer, as he admits, received those services. We strive to provide the best services and products possible at 10X Health and we are always looking for ways to improve, but we cannot issue significant refunds to customers who received exactly what they paid for. I ordered 2 test on 12/13/23. We received a handful of emails, but nothing on results. I contacted business on 3/4/24. They responded on 3/8/24 saying to be patient, as they are busy to to influx of orders. We are now in the month of April.... and nothing! I paid a a decent amount of money, and sent in swabs. I no longer need promises of results. I would like a full refund.
