      I am very disappointed with this company from the financial man Steve to the general manager Joe. First they drawl up and have us sign all the contracts to own this RV then 3 days later they say we weren’t approved. They had no problem taking our closing cost fee’s of $2000 and more then 3 weeks I’m still trying to get my money back after being told 10 days. We thought from the way they stated it was ours we brought but it had some recalls be fixed, and cleaned. We were so excited and we’re told no sorry it fail though. Because Steve messed are financial paperwork up. We was planning to move in to that RV the next week. To lose the $2000 so I can’t even go to another place to purchase.

      Don’t trust them make sure to carefully review the contract.
      Once they canceled. We had the contract looked at that we did signed, we found out they raised the price on the rv to balance out our trade in then lowered the price back to the sale price with out our knowledge. I kept seeing something wrong but Steve kept saying it’s all fine.

      Then they tried to put a lot of money on a credit card to balance out the loan.

      Don’t trust them and if you do walk out with that contract and have it looked out carefully.

      After having numerous repair issues with the brand new RV we bought Tiffany ****** reached out to me to see how we could get the issues resolved. Tiffany was extremely professional and listened to me and heard me. She offered solutions and always followed back up with me. She would check in multiple times a day. There was no doubt once I met her. I knew my problems would be solved.
      Tiffany got me in touch with the general Manager Richard ******. My wife and I went and met with Richard and explained our issues. He was very professional and really listened to our issues and he offered solutions that we are extremely happy with. Richard wanted us to be happy customers. After that meeting Tiffany again followed up numbers times the next date and until the final day of resolution. I am now very pleased with Optimum and plan to buy a 2nd smaller camper from them at the beginning of the year. It may have started off a little rough but because of people like Tiffany ****** then Richard ****** my faith has been restored in Optimum. Thank you Tiffany, Richard and Optimum.

      I sold my RV to Optimum RV in Corpus Cristi, TX, on 8/18/2023. They did agree to pay the top dollar for my RV, but as of this date (8/31/2023), I have not received a check. Even though they promised it to me in 3 days and then by the end of the week, last week. I did see a tracking number on my UPS account, even though Optimum never sent it to me. A label has been created, and it is due to me by noon today, but UPS has not received the package.

      This is unacceptable since Optimum RV already has my RV up for sale. I have yet to get a call back from Optimum RV. They say they are a family-owned, friendly business. It seems they do not care about their customers. They put on a great face but do not follow through.

      Thank you for your review. We are sorry that the check was not delivered in a timeframe that you were expecting. Checks are processed and issued from Ocala, FL and typically take longer than 3 days. We did post to your Google review and ask that you email your contact information over to our corporate management team and we never heard from you. However, our tracking number provided by UPS does show that the check was delivered on September 1st at 11:45 am.       Steer clear, is my recommendation. Unless you do not mind being manipulated and bullied when you do not do what they want you to do, which is to allow them to rip you off with no questions asked.

      Steven is the name of salesman that which I had the unfortunate experience. He said he was a Spartanburg Police Detective. Not a very prudent disclosure given his extremely poor communication skills and manipulative, bullying behaviors.

      I was interested in selling my toy hauler. Steven made me a ridiculous offer for the unit with no initial explanation. Without an explanation of how he got to the number that he quoted me, which was a quarter of the blue book value of my RV, I needed to gather information. Preferably, another estimate. Consequently, I vacillated in my decision whether to sell to Optimum RV. Steven and I had set an "appointment", for me to come in and complete the sales transaction. When I called to clarify the process, Steven refused to provide me with a written estimate. Further, he expected me to sign the title over with nothing more than a verbal that, "the check will be there in 7-10 business days". When I questioned this nonsense, he became agitated and insisted that that is how dealerships conduct business and called me, "wishy washy". I may have been, given the circumstances. However, you sir, are a ridiculous bully. Further, when I made the decision that I would give it away to a family in need of a place to live rather than to sell it to Optimum RV, Steven became increasingly agitated and in a very unpleasant tone asserted that they would not allow the church organization to pick the unit up at the dealership.

      I made several attempts to speak to the general manager, Gabriel. He simply avoided me. It is my impression that the higher ups know what is going on and have no intention of making any changes by providing training to their sales staff in hopes of losing the bully style customer service tactics and learning what is real customer service.

      you had a negative experience at our Spartanburg location. We sincerely
      apologize that we did not meet your expectations. Steven and our Sales Manager
      worked very hard to get this unit purchased from you. Had you decided to move
      forward with our offer we would have provided you with proper documentation to
      support the purchase; you would not have just been signing a title over to us
      with nothing in writing. The agreements are typically verbal, but the final
      process includes supporting documentation. Once an RV is in our possession, we
      will only release it to the customer or a hired transportation company. This policy
      is in place to prevent theft of our customer’s RVs. Your feedback has been
      forwarded to our senior leaders and this matter will be reviewed and handled
      accordingly.

      We greatly appreciate the opportunity that you gave us to
      earn your business.

      Good deal on a good used motorhome but non-existent after-sale follow-up!

      We purchased a 2019 Coachmen motorhome the first week of July. The sales people we dealt with were courteous, helpful, and answered our questions. After reviewing a half dozen units over two days of a weekend, we settled on the Coachmen unit. It had several items that needed fixing, which we put on their "We Owe" list. All but two were taken care of by the delivery date. We were missing a over-cab bunk ladder and the Operating Systems Control Panel needed to be replaced.

      The unit was ready on our appointed pick-up day. After a cursory review of the systems, we were left on our own to depart with the assurance that the missing items were being ordered and we would be contacted by the Service Department when they came in.

      Three weeks after the sale we still had not heard from them. Calls to the Service Department were referred to the Sales Department. This became the second sign of trouble ahead. When asked to speak to a specific person we had dealt with, we were transferred to their phone. It would ring a number of times then go to voice mail. It's then we were informed either that their mailbox was full and not accepting any more messages or that the mailbox was not even set up. How could one work there for over ten years and not have a set-up voicemail box?

      We left messages with whomever we could talk to to call us back. No-one ever did! Two weeks ago we met with Rory, who assured us that the two missing items were being ordered (almost 4 weeks after purchase!). More importantly we found out that our license plate paperwork hadn't been submitted yet and the temp plate was expiring in less than a week. We were assured that if we didn't get the plate by the weekend that they would overnight a new temp plate. Neither has been received at this writing.

      Lesson learned: GET ANYTHING PROMISED IN WRITING. DON'T TRUST THEM TO CARE!

      updated, and our staff informed on what we have available. We have over 100 RVs
      at most of our locations at a given time, it is difficult to know what is being
      previewed by another prospective buyer at the time of each phone or internet inquiry. When you inquired about the units they

      They are very rude, condescending, lying and thieving criminals. They ran my credit AFTER I told them not to. When I asked why their excuse was “you filled out the credit app, why would you fill out the credit app if you did not want your credit ran” … I FILLED OUT THE FORM THEY GAVE ME! IF I TELL YOU NOT TO RUN MY CREDIT YOU DONT RUN MY CREDIT! they then kept my ID from me. When I went back to pick it up I was told “it’s in a lock box with a timer. We can’t open it for a week” … 2 weeks later I got a call saying they were mailing my ID… 3 weeks later I have still not received my ID… I called back and they told me they lost my ID… VERY SHADY BUSINESS!

      Masters at “bait and switch”. Went there to see camper advertised on the internet. They added $6000 to the sale price, and slipped it past me. Didn’t realize until I received my payment book. Never gave me a copy of contract that I requested 3 times. No ethics…..

As you know per your conversation with us you were not overcharged for the RV. We advertised it for $15,999.00 and you paid $15,999.00. The figure that you received from the bank included all of the cost associated with buying the RV and the additional coverage that you purchased. You have all of the documentation pertaining to the deal.       purchased motorhome on 6/19/2023. The sides windows were foggy and supposed to be fixed, Never done. On the way home the vent cover flew off , We called and talked to Brittany. She was supposed to sent locks for cover. Never received them. While waiting to pick up motorhome called several times to find delivery date. Left messages with Brittany and she never returned our calls. It took 5 weeks to finally get motorhome . I don't know what the 19 points of service are that they advertise. Besides the vent cover coming off 2 marker lights weren't working, the entry light was burned out, the a/c filter was filthy, slideouts needed lubed and the chassis battery weak. We have talked to several different people and nothing was resolved.

      You can't get ahold of anyone in the service or delivery department. When leaving messages, they will not return phone calls. They will not fix THEIR problems that they have created and were promised to be fixed before delivery. It takes calling the original salesman and complaining before anyone from service or delivery will call you back, and then when they promise to check on issues and call you back, they don't unless you call in and complain again to the original salesman. The dealership will not deliver any resemblance of service after the sale. When I finally got ahold of someone in service, was told they would check into the problem and have someone call before the end of the day. Again, they did not follow through and now both problems still exist which were ORIGINAL problems that were supposed to be fixed prior to delivery after purchase. I would never give this business an ounce of repeat consideration after such a large dollar sale with no customer service after the sale. BUYER BEWARE!!!
