      Do yourselves a favor and stay away from Westgate Resorts. My husband and I were victims of his lies and deceit. We had won what we were led to believe was a free 4 day, 3 night stay at Westgate Resorts through a radio station. Days before our trip, Westgate called us and told us that it was mandatory to attend their presentation, and that it would only take an hour. Otherwise, the trip would not be free. My husband and I were introduced to Ricardo *******, who took us to the presentation room. He blatantly lied selling us the lie that if we became owners, we could make a profit by renting this timeshare through online platforms, which was a lie. He constantly pressured us with his misleading sales presentation throughout the entire presentation that lasted at least five hours. At all times, he insisted that if we didn't make the purchase, we would miss out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Ricardo persisted in making offers, each time lowering the price further until we finally relented. They pressured us to simply sign and never revealed how much we were actually paying or the deadline we had to terminate the contract. They lied to us and told us that if we didn't use the week, we wouldn't have to pay the maintenance fee. Westgate is only interested in scamming people. They have a perfect strategy on how they do it too. They lure you with gifts and cover their deceptions with a smile on their face. If you've been invited to a presentation, do yourself a favor and avoid it altogether. You will get stuck in something you can never get out of. They know what they are doing, and they have been doing it for years. What bothers me the most is that they are perfectly fine with taking advantage of innocent people. I warn you not to fall victim to his lies.

      Traumatizing. They take you on a ride throughout and show you a gorgeous room, yet our room was DISGUSTING. Pillows wouldn’t stay on the couch, mold in the corners of the walls, dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Lights that didn’t work. Mold on the carpets in the hallways. Then the high pressured sales pitch with music blasting so loud you can’t even think. NEVER SIGN ANYTHING. When we said no they pitched a cheaper option at a different resort. Who would buy something sight unseen?! And to top it all off as we had everything packed to leave there was a ROACH in the room! So disgusting and now petrified we could’ve brought then home with us. No customer service recovery at all. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY!!

      Complete and total liars about everything. We used a week once had a horrible experience. Told us only a 45 minute look around to see what was new total lie took us up to the sales office and pitched us to get more weeks and we said no they brought someone over to try to convince us. They did this three different times I counted I said no six times finally, we walked out because we were late for our reservations and it was well past an hour and a half. They got loud, rude, and basically called a stupid because we didn’t want to get more weeks. Don’t fall for this trap.

      They sell the time share and prent it as the greatestr investment.
      Thousands of dollars down the drain. Maintenace service goes up every year, has go up $800 in the last 15 years.
      When you try to sell, relators do not want to deal with Westgate, the right of refusal Westgate has pretty much deters people from buying, the realtors will not touch it with 10' pole.

      I tried to surrender the property back to them, for othing. They sell the same property for $48K.
      They said I have to pay $3K to give them the proprty that is already paid for and deeded. I'm giving it back to them for free to sell, but they want me to also give them $3000 on top of that.

      The whole deal is shady, the company is ripping people off. Do not believe anything they say, they are all liars.

      Walk away, run away, it is a scam.

      During a timeshare presentation, we were initially offered a gift in exchange for 90 minutes of our time, which ultimately stretched into a protracted 5-hour session marked by intense pressure and manipulation. Notably, our driver's licenses were temporarily confiscated, with the commitment of their return upon the presentation's conclusion, raising immediate concerns.
      Deceptive claims played a pivotal role in persuading our purchase, including promises of rental income, tax advantages, and discounted Disney tickets, none of which materialized. The exclusivity of resorts for owners was misrepresented, as we discovered that non-owners secured similar accommodations online for significantly less.
      A mandatory meeting a year later offered no respite, as a sales representative falsely assured us that we could downgrade our package. Instead, the new contract inflated costs and nearly doubled maintenance fees. The lack of an opportunity to review the new terms before signing on a tablet compounded our unease, and the promised contract delivery was not fulfilled.
      Despite repeated efforts, these documents remained elusive. A particularly troubling incident involved a representative's scribbled numbers on a piece of paper, which did not align with our contract, underscoring a disconcerting level of dishonesty.
      The accommodations we were shown during the tours bore little resemblance to the outdated, subpar rooms we received. Promised benefits like a nearby beach were misleading, as we encountered an off-limits, neglected area overrun by weeds.

      Upon arrival I was unpleasantly surprised by a mandatory resort fee totaling $141.20. When I inquired the clerk rudely replied that it was shown on the reservation and treated me as if I was ignorant.

      Hi folks, I'm very very sorry some of you fell for the deceiving sales pitch of sharks. Thankfully, I knew better not to fall for it. As I told my wife, "Amor, do you really think people, especially successful people, share the best out there to others open and freely without an underlying goal?" Folks, just remember, if it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true. Right now, as I write, I'm in a westgate rundowned room without a working AC. When the maintenance guy arrived after I called the front desk, his answer was to wait 2 to 3 hours for the system to unfreeze, then he will turn the system back on. To say the least, that's an interesting approach to a solution; wait. When we first arrived, the bed sheets were dirty, had pee and blood stains, and the mattress was sinking in the middle. The bathroom floor was dirty with hairs, in which my wife despises, and the towels were also stained. However, they did replace the mattress and changed the sheets on the second night. Did I mentioned I asked to upgrade the room, the front desk said there were none available. Well, the one right next to me is empty. LIES. They can't even get a pizza order correct. Ordered Buffalo chicken, got pepperoni. Just my initial experience alone screamed to stay away, and as suspected, I was curious to see what others had to say. Sure enough, the lone star says it all.

      Beware of Westgate Las Vegas – a company more interested in profits than ethical business practices.
      My wife and I had the misfortune of attending a so-called "vacation presentation" at Westgate Las Vegas on June 17th. What was supposed to be a brief discussion turned into a nightmare that left us frustrated, irritated, and scammed.
      From the moment we were approached on the street, we were relentlessly harassed about attending a presentation in exchange for show tickets and a free dinner. Our repeated protests and clear disinterest did not matter, the sales team used inexcusable tactics to keep us engaged.
      It is crucial to mention that I suffer from anxiety and hearing impairment, which was only exacerbated by the overwhelming atmosphere of the presentation. We repeatedly expressed our desire to leave, but our pleas fell on deaf ears. The situation escalated when we were offered a timeshare for $300,000, a price that miraculously dropped to $10,000 after our repeated refusals. My anxiety was at its peak, and I felt desperate to escape. To make matters worse, our IDs and credit cards were taken upon entry, leaving us uncertain about who had them and unable to leave, further exacerbating my anxiety.
      After agreeing to buy, we were rushed through the contract signing process, deliberately deprived of information, and discouraged from asking questions. Details such as maintenance fees and the 5-day rescission period were omitted. We were fed misleading information about renting out weeks and using the timeshare as an investment, promises that were false. To date, we have paid around $3,000 and have been unable to secure any availability for personal use or rental, despite being assured of flexibility and open availability.
      The entire experience with Westgate was a disgrace!

      FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. My Family and I went to a 90 minutes presentation for WESTGATE RESORT LAKE AND SPA in ORLANDO FL. The SALER giving the presentation promised we would be able to Vacation when ever we wanted. Now to find out we only get to vacation ONCE every two years but have to pay every year maintenance fees. The first time we got to use the room they gave us an old room which is not the room that was shown to us at all the room was old and outdated. We are very disappointed Not only did they lie to me but they lied in the loan in regards to my income charging me an incredible high interest rate. They are a Fraud and liars.

      If i could rate them less the 1 i would. SCAM SCAM SCAM they held us and and our kids for HOURS and HOURS for a "90 min presentation". Promised us that they could sell out weeks to help pay for our "investment" promised us at anytime they would be able to sell out "investment" with equity back. they PROMISED that they wold receive a bonus if our account was paid in full in a 2 year period so they would gladly help sell our weeks to do so. They refused to allow us to think about it stating that if we left we wouldn't be able to purchase for the price they were offering but a price 3 times as much. They showed us "paystubs" from other guests they "helped" sell weeks for that were for thousands of dollars.

      RUN AWAY WHILE YOU CAN!!!

      I've emailed the company SEVERAL times with they only response being stop emailing them.
