      Our Westgate Resorts experience has been a complete disaster. We were lured in by promises of free dinners and show tickets during a high-pressure sales presentation in Las Vegas. The registration process was excruciatingly slow, and the presentation was full of manipulation and half-truths.
      What they conveniently left out was the perpetuity clause in the contract, which means our descendants would be stuck with this timeshare indefinitely. The promised benefits of renting out the property turned out to be far from reality.
      To make matters worse, we were hounded by Westgate salespeople on three separate occasions, even resorting to intimidation tactics. It's been a nightmare dealing with this company, and we strongly advise everyone to avoid them. Cancelling our contract is the least they can do to make amends, but it's clear they prioritize their shady sales tactics over customer satisfaction. Steer clear of Westgate Resorts unless you enjoy being scammed and manipulated.

      Westgate Smoky Mountains timeshare experience = nightmare! Our experience was awful!! We were told we would get 3 nights 4 days at one of their locations and a $100 gift card. They farmed us out to a terribly dated, awful, seedy hotel. The pools and restaurant weren't open, as we were told. We were told the "required" timeshare tour was to be 1.5 hours. You are fined if you don't show up, or we would have just left!! The tour/high pressure sales presentation went on for over 4 hours! They wouldn't stop, give us our gift card, and let us leave. We told them "NO!" repeatedly and asked them to stop and let us leave, but they wouldn't. Finally I insisted they get the person in charge. So, the "closer" sales guy got up and went and stood in another place. The 1st sales person said we couldn't get us cleared, and checked out, and receive our gift card without our presentation sheet. So I got up and went to the "closer" scammer and insisted on them giving it to us. Finally, a guy came over, got it for me and checked us out. I felt violated!! I can't believe this is even legal!! Its clearly not ethical! There were dozens of people going through the same thing. Westgate RUINED our Smokey Mountain experience, We will never come back here or have ANY dealings with them, ANYWHERE! They are a high pressure, unethical sales scam! Read the other reviews!

      you were never obligated to remain past the agreed-upon time to receive your promised
      incentives or to purchase a timeshare. Ultimately, you have the right to inform

      satisfaction. While Westgate is a sales-driven company, Westgate firmly

      We have been owners with Westgate Painted Mountain for over 20 years. Tens of thousands of dollars later, we are being harassed by phone calls now. We were only to take a handful of vacations. Now Westgate Resorts wants even more money after refusing over and over to allow
      us into their Legacy Program. We can see through travel websites that Painted Mountain is still being sold and rented out but they refuse to take the property back! This company takes advantage of retirees knowing they will age out of the lifestyle. Westgate Resorts continue to lease out the properties while bleeding its senior citizen customers dry. We have no money left for travel, yet they continually call and harass us for more! The responses to return this “valuable investment” are always form letters or legalese. Westgate Resorts care nothing about their customers or their reputation.
      If you are approached by someone trying to get you to buy from this company, be aware, it is a scam! you will be targeted by a money-making scheme and never get anything in return for the money you give them.

      My experience with Westgate sales representatives has been nothing short of a fraudulent and manipulative nightmare. As an elderly retiree, I was targeted and deceived into purchasing a timeshare worth over $12,000. For almost a decade, Westgate has subjected me to elder abuse, feeding me lies and misinformation to make the sale. I have had enough! They promised unlimited travel options, cruise benefits, and rental income opportunities – all of which turned out to be utter fabrications. The high-pressure sales tactics and false assurances coerced me into making a regrettable decision. The availability of the timeshare was limited, and attempting to sell it proved nearly impossible due to their draconian ownership transfer policies. When I reached out to their customer support for help, they displayed apathy and refused to take responsibility. I implore Westgate to rectify this situation by nullifying my contract without negative financial repercussions. My trust has been shattered, and I deserve restitution for the blatant deceit and manipulation I've endured. This ordeal has left me deeply disillusioned and disappointed in Westgate's unethical practices.

      We had such a terrible experience with Westgate. We fell for a discounted vacation package, but during the presentation, they fed us a bunch of lies that were the complete opposite of what our timeshare is actually like. They also totally misled us about the total cost. They promised us rental income and annual vacations, but they haven't followed through on any of those promises. Plus, their team used some pretty shady tactics to pressure us into signing a contract. We're demanding they cancel our agreement ASAP.
      The presentation was led by a lady named Stephanie ******** on February 11, 2023. She kept telling us that buying a timeshare was the best decision for our family and that it would let us vacation anywhere we wanted. They showed us a really nice 2-bedroom vacation home that she said was perfect for us. She even convinced us that we could rent it out whenever we weren't using it.
      We thought we were getting a great deal from their offer of two weeks annually plus an extra three days and four nights and 1,500 bonus points. Stephanie also kept talking about how they're associated with Disney and how we could get discounted tickets and free cruises through their program. That's what really sold us.
      At first, they wanted to charge us $45,000 for the timeshare, which was way too expensive. But then this sales supervisor, Jennifer Woodworth, came up to us and offered the same deal for only $18,000. It seemed like we were getting a good deal, but it was all a trick. When we went to sign the contract, they rushed us through the process and left out important stuff like our maintenance fees and our right to cancel. They totally took advantage of us, and we're beyond disappointed with how everything turned out.

      Our experience with Westgate Vacation Villas was dreadful. We were promised a 4-day, 3-night stay in exchange for a one-hour resort tour, but it turned into an 8-hour ordeal. Despite declining multiple times, we were coerced into signing up for a misrepresented timeshare with crucial details hidden from us.
      It started with a brochure in March 2021. The representative urged us to lie about our income to qualify for the promised gift. At the resort, a salesperson named Demian ****** pressured us with extravagant claims and a false sense of urgency. We reluctantly agreed. The loan officer, Jonathan ****** ******, rushed us through the contract signing, discouraging thorough reading. Important details like rising maintenance fees, the right to rescind the contract, and the financial burden on our children were kept from us.
      We paid $7,000 towards the timeshare since April 2021, with no benefits. Booking vacations was impossible due to limited availability. If Mr. ****** had allowed us to understand the contract, we'd have seen the exorbitant costs.
      Westgate Vacation Villas used dishonest tactics, leaving us in financial uncertainty.

      Westgate Gatlinburg scams you with offer for discounted tickets and asks for a deposit for the the tickets prior to the presentation. When you get there, the s******* *** *** ********* ****** *** ** **** **** ** **** arbitrarily decides you are not interested and calls a big bouncer to throw you out. He tells you that you said your were not interested though you never said this and that you didn't complete the 90 minute show due to no fault of your own other than answering the questions honestly. He now tells you that you do not get your tickets or the money you paid for them which they now call a non-refundable deposit. So, now they don't even have to pressure you to get your money. They have it before you go. So each employee makes about $100 for the company for throwing you out early time and time and time again. Employees were ******* ** * *** **** in their aggressive treatment before you even see the pressure of the sale.

      If this were truly an investment, the sales representatives wouldn't have to lie to earn their commissions. If this were truly an ownership, a customer would be able to actually use their property.
      If you find yourself trapped in one of their presentations for a free gift, know in advance that this is not an investment. It is a money-making scheme from a deceitful company. The sales people are safe telling lies to their customers because they know the company will ask for proof. The only proof that you will have is the knowledge that you were tricked. We were told we were getting one thing, and found later we had signed for something else. This is a bait and switch tactic. If the sales representative tells you that you can rent it and the income will cover your costs--that is an outright lie.
      Westgate Smoky Mountain isn't a timeshare, it is a money pit that will continue for the rest of your life, with nothing to show for it.

      satisfied, active owners, and those who are unhappy are a very small
      percentage. Many of our owners visit our resorts year after year, upgrade to
      units that better suit their travel needs, and purchase additional weeks.

      Excellent sportsbook viewing experience - however, be warned, their customer support/payment system is in dire need of a makeover.
      On September 9th - We had a party of 10 purchase a booth / min-spend area for Week 1 of the NFL Games. We had an issue where our card on file (the holding card and the card to make the full $1,500 payment) was given to another party and were told that the individual would not return the card. We were then provided a discount offer to make up for the incident - that discount was not applied to the final bill. We tried for multiple weeks to work through both Kyle ********* and Ian (Last Name Unknown - but Director of Food & Beverage Experience) with little engagement, response, and a whole lot of "passing the buck".
      They've stopped communicating hoping this issue would resolve itself when the blame for this incident lies squarely on their shoulders - they allowed our information to be handed to an incorrect party, failed to find a resolution for the issue, and failed to provide any concrete communication to help rectify the error.
      I don't recommend a party/group experience at this venue unless you have directly spoken with their onsite managers and emphasized you want your information protected and feedback taken seriously - until they make changes, just go to Circa for a much better customer experience.
