      I repeatedly tried to contact Checkpeople.com to remove false information about me. There online remove tool says I'm not listed, but I am listed, and have received a report from them as of today 10/14/22 that lists the defamatory information.

      I also request a full refund for having to pay to prove that I am listed on this site.

      I also request they contact anyone who has requested my information during the last 60 days and inform them that the information is possibly false.

      I have both called and written to CheckPeople.com to have my personal/private information removed from their website. I spoke with a Manager on the phone who assured me that my name and all personal information would be removed within 24 hours. He, at the time stated, that he did not save my email address as well. However, I received an email stating that the "opt-out" was complete. I went to the CheckPeople.com website and notice that my information was still located on the google search. I contacted the customer service rep via email, and he stated that it would be removed. However, my information has continued to be posted on the Checkpeople.com website. I would like to file a complaint as I am paying for a private and UNLISTED number to which Checkpeople.com is counteracting by unlawfully posting. The Customer Service continues to respond stating it has been removed. I have enclosed an attachment from the google search I completed today, showing that my information is still available on their site and showing as searchable in google.

      I Veamently DO NOT accept the response from Checkpoint because CHECKPOINT is ultimately responsible because they are the ones that post using ******. No other company has had ANY issues with removing information from the ****** index when I have used that company's OPT OUT function for their individaul sites. All other companies that I have opted out of, have removed information from BOTH their company websites and the ****** site all within 24 hours. Being that Checkpoint, as an entity, has chosen to utilize the ****** platform to produce their people searches, Checkpoint is the liable entity responsible for having the information (that they provided to ******) removed. So while my actual search RESULTS do not show up once you click on my name...my name, number and personal information are STILL on the initial ****** page available to be clicked on as available by the Checkpoint entity and with my personal information that would be included in the results. If Checkpoint chose to use the ****** platform as their chosen search platform, then Checkpoint is ultimately responsible for having my personal information removed from the ****** search engine. I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS RESPONSE FROM CHECKPOINT. MY UNLISTED PHONE NUMBER THAT I AM PAYING FOR TO BE UNLISTED IS STILL BEING MADE PUBLIC BECAUSE OF CHECKPOINT. I would like Checkpoint to do their job and COMPLETELY have my personal information deleted from both their website and the ****** platform. And I would like a reimbursement from Checkpoint paying me for the last 6 months & counting for my paying 2 phone companies for an unlisted private number that Checkpoint has and is continuing to post and make public WITHOUT my AUTHORIZATION.

      I signed up for a $6 trial and began being charged almost $30/month for a subscription i never signed up for. I contacted them and said to unsubscribe me as i never consented to this anyway. They said i was unsubscribed yet i was just charged by them again for this service that i do not use and never signed up for. i changed my debit card and they still managed to charge my new debit card.

      Checkpeople.com is non-responsive to my removal request using their online opt-out tool. Date submitted July 22nd 2022. A verification email was sent by the company and that was confirmed. On July 23rd 2022 I received an email stating my request was approved and that the profiles would be removed. They remain on the website.
      In addition
      2 sites,**************** and ******************** owned /managed by checkpeople.com has the same profiles and the same provider IDs. Regarding the last two websites their opt-out system is non-operational.

      Any help you could give me with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
      The company **************** sent a rebuttal and asked for screenshots of Records I'm asking them to remove that are still showing on their web pages ( check people and information.com )
      I did not want to go against Better Business bureaus policy of putting personal identifiable information on the public page.
      I'm sending screenshots that they requested and was wondering if Better Business Bureau could send them to **************** on my behalf or send me further instructions how I can send them without having them publicly displayed.

      There are no ages Associated or attached to the two profiles I'm asking to be removed.
      The one is blank with a line and the other one has N/A.
      I've sent the URLs which are considered as unique as a fingerprint and are more accurate than a screenshot.
      I've been monitoring and attempting to have these profiles taken down since March 2021.(not a misprint) up until my last attempt which is stated in my original complaint. At that time I hired a company that helps individuals like myself who had their identity stolen have their information removed from people finder sites. We both met with the same results, the profiles still remained.
      No one spends that amount of time, effort and resources unless they're 100% sure that they are the correct profiles.
      When you go into the urls , the house numbers are****.

      I was charge for a background search on check people.com and I never made that search I called the number and they said that they would cancel the subscription but they could not refund me my money that they had already charged me I never made this inquiry or request. After asking me general questions they determined that it was not fraud but if I didn't place the inquiry it is fraud so therefore I should not be charged.

      I have over nine months of un authorized charges to my credit card from this company.       Per my finical institution, *****************, I provided CheckPeople with credit card reference numbers and the last four numbers of our credit card. These dates, reference numbers, and the last four numbers of our card should be enough according to *************** fraud department to find charges to our account starting on December 18th 2021 through September 2022. I am not sure why the CheckPeople can't find these charges but I have credit card statements with all these charges underlined.
