      There was a free trial which I had used and then cancelled right after. Not only did the subscription not cancel but ive been billed for almost a year now against my will.

      I agreed to a $1.00 promo from this company last night. This promo was supposed to give me full access to include downloading the full report. Today I look at my banking account to find that theyve not only charged the 1.00 but also ***** and 6.95. I did not authorize anything but the 1.00. I wish for this to be cancelled and for a refund of these fraudulent charges.

      I attempted to pay $1 for a background check my card was declined and then later charge two separate occasions for 806 and ********************************************************************************************************* 806 and 2906 on my other card I had to cancel my other card the one card the billing is being disputed

      It appears that you signed up for our $1.00 trial period on 9/22/2024. Our service begins with a trial period, of which you have full access to our comprehensive database and unlimited searches. After the trial, if not canceled, the monthly subscription period begins and will bill each month going forward. Since the account was not cancelled, you were billed for $29.16. The additional charge of $6.95 was incurred due to the add-on PDF download feature, which was self-selected by you upon checkout. 

      We are pleased to inform you that we have accepted your refund request and have processed the refund for the charges on your account. The amount of $37.11 has been credited back to your original payment method.       I was offered a free trial for ninety nine cents for three day s. After less than one hour using the service I decided to call the 24/7 customer service line to cancel. The customer service is not 24/7 as they say in their email. See photo I have to wait until Monday to call and cancel.I received an email stating I would be charged $1.00 I checked my bank account and ******************************************* have charged 29 dollars and another charge of six dollars and 95 cents. I am furious. That is not what they said they were charging me in the email. They made no mention of the 29 dollars or the six dollars. I used the service for less than 30 minutes to look up two individuals. I was not satisfied with the information as it is information that I already had. All public record. Furthermore, in my email, they changed my purchase date as the day before even though the email was on 9/20 they said I purchase 9/18 so that by monday my three day trial will be over and they want - well they already did charge the 29 dollars because they knew that there was no way for me to cancel and that the three days would expire before I would be able to cancel. This is so unethical and it is theft in my mind. I am so so mad.

      My audit of my account reveals monthly charges of $29.16 to CHECKPEOPLE FL, from 08/04/2024 to 09/16/2024 made without my knowledge or consent. I will contact Elan to stop these payments and I will contact CHECKPEOPLE to confirm that an account exists and request that it be closed.

      On August 13th, 2024 I followed the steps and the guidelines on the companys website to have my fathers personal information removed from their website. Since then I have sent two emails to the business to remind them to please remove the information. Despite these attempts my fathers information still has not been removed.
