      BEWARE -- one of those that is very difficult to get out of. Even after you think you have canceled they still charge your card and then when you finally talk to someone they say they can not refund anything. STAY AWAY!

      I was lead to believe I would be charged $1 for doing a background check on someone. I was actually charged $6.95 for downloading the pdf, which was NOT explained anywhere. I was also charged $29.16 for a subscription, which I DID NOT sign up for.

      They say a dollar for 5 days but they try and take over 20 lies not happy at all. It would not let. Me ost. This unless I gave a star. Scam

      I called today to cancel the so called 5 day free trial and the phone representative called me rude because I didnt want to hear about keeping this service. Theyve charged all kinds of ridiculous charges to my account and promised to reimburse me. This company is a scam!

      Exactly as all other complaints on this page; deceptive or nonexistent billing information. Customer support line is chaos in the background, and when an "agent" is connected, you must be vigilant and probably insist on talking to their boss. What is also worthy of note is the poor quality of the information provided by their "check", and the fact that they would me more successful if they were honest and upfront, offering levels of information and clear payment options, you know, like every other online business.

      I called CheckPeople, LLC on 1/24/24 @ 8:14 am and documented the date and time due to companies not remembering when we call them. Sure enough, when a payment went through today, the refused to refund my money back even though the start of the billing cycle is today and said they could not find the number I had called from. Now I could have called from any outgoing number at my work but that is beside the point. The first guy was rude, the 2nd guy was still semi rude. I have been in management and customer service for over 10 years and this is not how to treat customers ever, and I have only written 2 of these letters; today is one. Do not use this company. As you see by the ratings, they are not accredited and have an F rating. If I could give this company a 0 star I would. Undeserving of a 1 star even.

      They **** !Told me like I have read now... they had all kinds of information, they didn't have c*** and had numerous names never heard of. It was all Bogus. I hadn't gotten any Pdf 's but can see where they can fraud u there if u hadn't seen there info. Cuz there isn't. No stars from me !Big O !!!!

      I thought i would give checkpeople.com since they offered a $1 trial period. If i canceled before that period ends the consumer(me) owes nothing else. If i don't cancel before the end of trial period i will get billed $29.16 every 30 days until i cancel. I wasn't on the sight for a half an hour before i started receiving notifications from my card company. This company immediately hit my card for $29.16 plus $6.95 plus two $1.00 charges. I hate dealing with scam companies like this. I immediately messaged my card company to make them aware and went to my app and locked my card to prevent more charges. It was 11 pm. Then i called the number associated with the charges in an attempt to resolve the issue. Im a hot head so i was pretty mad when the recording said i would have to call back during normal business hours. They can take a persons money at any time...fraudulently i might add. The consumer however has to race the clock 3 different directions to keep checkpeople from ****** you of your finances in the middle of the night. The next morning i called the company..even more angry about what they did and was told by their rep that i ordered stuff.. I didn't order anything so i was bursting with rage at this point cuz they weren't going to refund the bogus charges. After several minutes of heated discussion..******* supposedly talked to a manager i was told i would be refunded. That day it showed the money was refunded and i was done with this company,or so i thought. At nearly 9pm the very next night... once again took $6.95 from my account and repeatedly keep trying to hit me for $1 charges. So in the morning i will have to deal with this again. This company is a scam. 100%.. Their "FREE" offers are all over the place and the info is so basic i found more helpful information about the person i needed to check from fb. Don't trust them and tell everyone you know not to. How long will i have to deal with these ppl b4 they stop trying to steal money in the night?

      Lesss than 1 star. Fradulant in my opinion. Searched for a person and website said "We found...".. Paid **** to see the result and then they said no person found. Immediately caancelled/challenged subscription charge. Should be investigated.
