      They suspended my account permanently and refuse to say why
      Plenty of competitors out there who are responsible and respectful to their customers. I would strongly suggest trying 1 of them as Checkpeople makes unsubstituted accusations about their customers

      They deceived me into paying a dollar but then charge me 29!!! I have an email stating I had only agreed to the 1.00 deal, not 29.00 monthly payments!! This is insane. Make them pay us back for their deceit.

      I’ve been requesting this company to take my home address off the interest fir a couple of weeks. No response and it’s still there. This can be very dangerous for me and my family.

      Permanently banned without explanation, customer service said they don’t know why. I was using the site to find old friends, friends birthdays..etc. I am not an employer, a stalker, or sell information. I have no idea why I was banned, but after reading everyone’s post I’m glad my account was cancelled.

      Same as other users. Fraudulent representation. Indicated clearly cost of $1.00 for access to a report.
      I looked through all of the fine legalize trying to see additional costs. If it was there it was covered cleverly. Now charges on my charge card for $29.17, $6.99, and of course the $1.00 that was clearly legible. Company should be reviewed by a government agency and forced to pay back all that fell into this trap.

      PERMANENTLY BANNED WITH NO EXPLANATION. I have been a subscriber for approximately six months and found the service to be useful and informative. I was an occasional user, the monthly charge was paid by credit card, and I was satisfied with the service. The last time I tried to sign in, I received the notice Error 1005 Access denied. I never violated the terms of service nor misused the information in any way. I called customer service, who told me I had violated the user agreement but could not or would not tell me how. They informed me my ban was non-negotiable, permanent, and my monthly charge would be refunded to my credit card. I am surprised by this ban and wish to know what prompted it.

      Rip off. Said trial was $1.00 charged me full price. Then I called snd canceled and they still charged me $6.99. Said it was a PDF charge. And none of the infomation the gave me was not corret at all

      Horrible company! I signed up for a one time charge of a $1 to look up one person. Then they hit me with 2 months of charges. I caught the 2nd month as a pending charge and they refused to remove it. When I called them they didn’t even have a record of my account so I had to send screenshots of my card activity to prove that they were collecting money. DON’T ever use this company!!! They are just a scam to run up charges
