  If I could give them 0 stars I would. This company has taken a paid google ad in my name (claiming that I am a criminal and that for 1 dollar people can access my background check. They also wanted me to know someone left a message for me. I believe they are working with ************. I have reported them to the fbi and I am also going to pursue legal action for using me for publicity and harassment.I have screenshots and video to prove all that I am saying.

  I do not know how they received my information to charge me for 10 months on my ******** card and my cap one card.Literally criminals.When I called up and finally got to the person in charge he was seriously so defensive and not looking to do anything.I asked him who he answers to and he would not give me a name.Then he hung up on me.I called up and asked the nextvperson I called who wasn't connected to him and just becausecI asked they are sooo paranoid from the criminal business they are operating that even the low level employees are very sneaky.They are taught not to give any personal inf9rmatuon.Dont take my word for it.Go call them.Its disgusting that they can get away with this.Background checks of all things should not have excons working there....

  Automatically charges you $30 after 5 days. Stated on page in terms and conditions. I rated 5 stars since they were able to process my refund after calling to cancel. They do provide access to a lot of information and it is a good company with good customer service.

  If there were ZERO stars that’s what they deserve. They charged a monthly membership ($30) that was missed by an elderly woman when she paid to look up 1 phone number, she got the number and thought that’s all it was to it, no the inconsiderate people of “checkpeople.com” don’t care so long as they get money for providing no services. Absolutely disgusting!

  I used CheckPeople.com to reconnect with an old classmate from grade school, and I was thrilled with the results. The site was user-friendly, and their report included their emails, phone number, and addresses. Now, I’m friend with my old best friend again!

  This company is a Rip off. My 1st day was May 3rd. I called to cancel on May 7 2023 they billed me already $29.50 on May 8th which terms info is not clearly stated on the agreement where an average citizen can read and understand. If such stated it may have been very fine print and obscure. I didn't find any terms that were stated. I want charges reversed and my refund for the billing. I think it's wrong for a company to be so insiderate of customers where there's no recourse to go further to discuss the situation further. I was told to just call back and talk to another representative that she, Dee, was not able to transfer calls. I wanted to elevate the call to a supervisor. I am a senior citizen and I can't afford to be charged for a service I get no benefit from. This is a background check company, I needed it to address Mother's Day cards to my friends from church and I couldn't get addresses from this organization whenever I either searched for a combination of either entered names, city, state, or phone numbers. It's a poor service if basic information can't be provided.
  I was offered a reduced next month's billing amount but why would I want to continue a "service" that has no value for obtaining contact information? If they can offer reduced rates for a future month's bill why can they not simply refund/reverse charges as a "good ?ill" gesture that may possibly get returning customers and a good word of mouth review for their reputation rather than leave a sour taste in customer's mouths. Please do whatever you can to get my money refunded to me through same method of payment. Which was through ******. The company is a Scam. Thank you, Martha * *****

  I recently used CheckPeople.com to run a background check on myself, and was relieved with how easy they made the whole process. Now I feel prepared for what the companies I want to work for will see when I apply to work with them, which is a massive relief. Plus, their customer service is friendly and helpful, so I was able to get my questions answered quickly.

  I've never signed up for their service but today I got a ****** receipt for $29 for a subscription. Never heard of the company until I got the ****** receipt of payment. ****** cant return my money but canceled the subsription
