- 5/9/2024 Morgan and Morgan took my slip and fall case.- From 5/9 - 7/2/24 updating Morgan and Morgan about my medical status including appointments and medical findings -7/2/2024 I received a call from my lawyer who stated that the law firm is declining representation of my case with no warning or explanation!!- 7/3/2024 Received letter from law firm declining representation of my case!!- 7/3/2024 Sent email to the Associate Attorney asking for Copies of All Signed Documents related to Case, but have not received a response.- 7/18/2024 Since Morgan and Morgan dropped my case. I am now left in a lurch with out-of-pocket expenses and am still seeing Orthopedic doctors and continuing my Physical Therapy!!! I reached out to Morgan and Morgan after a woman ran a stop sign and slammed into my car. I provided all information. Morgan and Morgan guaranteed I'd be contacted by team outside of my work hours. I provided my availability and asked if it was an issue, Morgan and Morgan said "no". I even told them I need evening or weekend doctors, to which I was informed would not be an issue. At this time Morgan and Morgan has refused to make contact with me during my availability. When I spoke to my legal team and customer care they all continued to refused and even told me to get over it. I have requested for MONTHS they fix the technical issues on their end with my online portal in writing and on the phone. They have refused to make corrections. Morgan and Morgan has failed to establish follow-on medical care for me. Morgan and Morgan has failed to address the medical bills from the accident which have hit my credit report. The legal teams response was "o-well". I request I be released from my contract with a letter from Morgan and Morgan that they are NOT entitled to a single dime from me or any settlements if I hire a different attorney. This is not unreasonable as Morgan and Morgan hasn't done a single action other then constantly speak disrespectfully to me. Yet Morgan and Morgan refused. I requested a new legal team be assigned and was told they'd probably say "no" and leave me with the disrespectful and worthless current team I have. At this point I have no solutions from Morgan and Morgan other than they don't care and they enjoy treating clients disgustingly. At this point I can only speak poorly about Morgan and Morgan as a whole, which is a shame as the organization many years ago was once decent.Business Response

I called and spoke with a ******* who I was transferred to be in the intake department. I inquired about nearby locations as the Morgan and Morgan commercial ad suggest parties do, stating that " "call us for a nearby location" and advertisement indicates there many locations. I asked areas outside of the ******* to include Gwinnett specifically.When I inquire representative ******* at first said they only have one location. The person stated the only two locations in the Metropolitan and surrounding areas was ******* and ***********I inquired multiple times stating this did not sound accurate.The representative also said that they do not have appts for in person consultation but only over the phone. I was involved in a car accident in April 2022. I hired Morgan and Morgan in January of 2023 due to the slow process of the claims with the other party insurance who was at fault. February 2024, a settlement was reached. I have been passed around from various attorneys to include one from out of state who was trying to help connect me to attorney in my state. Months later, I got in touch with an attorney from my state to assist me in finalizing the settlement which has been reached. There has been zero contact since. I am not getting updated information in a timely manner about a car accident which happen June 26, 2023. Auto Accident Case Number: ********. Dear Reader,Thank you for taking the time to read this review. On 14 Oct 2023 I was the victim of ped vs vehicle hit and run. Driver has not been identified. On 24 Oct 2023 I hired Morgan and Morgan. My first assigned attorney ended up leaving the firm and I was next assigned ******************** first, it seemed all was going well. Until I began calling around to the entities involved with ny case.My case was settled 01 March 2024. I discovered the check was mailed to his firm on March 25.Upon further investigation I discovered the largest bill was paid by my insurance in early January. I also provided Mr ******* attorney assigned by Morgan and Morgan,on my behalf, the information of the correct ************* I advised him the ambulance company had sent my account to collections and is accruing interest.Mr ****** and myself,as time progressed, experienced a major breakdown in communication. I contacted client relations several times, even requesting no further communications with Mr ******* On one occasion, after filing my concerns, as well as several reviews online, and advising Mr ****** not to contact me, he called my daughter and threatened to *** me for defamation. After several emails from Mr ****** attempting to bully, gaslight and guilt me into removing my reviews, and my refusal to do so, he fired me as a client. Citing the main reason as conflict of intrest and comment of abuse from me.He advised, that now I am to recieve a larger amount, due to the reduction in fees, I will need to hire a new attorney to release the remaning funds held in trust, by law, in order to pay the lien.Currently my settlement funds are being held hostage.Business Response

Im a client of Morgan & Morgan due to a car accident. I been out of work for 3 weeks due to accident. So I asked Morgan & Morgan for a pre-settlement loan to get my prescriptions filled and pay my bills. They keep sending me to doctors and Im getting more & more prescriptions and I dont have the money to get them filled as I explained to attorneys. I have an herniated disc in my back and I also have bad pain shooting down my leg. I have missed serveral days of work due to the injuries and by me not getting my prescriptions filled and taking my meds as I should its getting worser. They for the people but I guess not for the people after explaining my situation the my attorney. First they told me that a loan is not in the best interest of me as there client.second they said that they dont do loans in ***** policy cases. The next lawyer I spoked with just told me no that its a Morgan & Morgan policy that they dont do loans. The. After explaining my situation they said that they would email someone and see if they can get it approved. And never did. So I called to speak with an supervisor and from what the supervisor said in so many words theyre lieing they do loans at their own discretion. Whats their discretion? I dont know. But this is a terrible way to treat your client thats suffering injuries. They are my attorney and should be in the best interest of me as their client but theyre not. This will be my last time dealing with Morgan & Morgan. Some of the people in that law firm is no good for the people not saying all of them because its some nice sweet people that *** spoked with in the firm. **** morgan needs to teach some of his attorneys how to be for the people because hes experienced financial hardship of accident injuries and not working, lawyers taking advantage etc.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: At the time that I requested the loan I was told that Morgan & Morgan had a policy that stated they do not do pre-settlement loans at all. Also was told they didnt do loans on $10,000 & $20,000 policys. Now for the firm to come forward and say that they do pre-settlement loans only with Claim ***** is very contradicting to the lies they have told me and the pain Im suffering due to pain from my accident injuries and being out of work, not having money to fill my meds that I need for the pain and suffering of this accident. Everyone goes thru an financial chrisis after an accident but for Morgan & Morgan thats suppose to be for the people to give me the run around and lie to there client and say they dont do pre-settlement loans is heart breaking to me as a client. Its as if I cant trust my attorney with my life in there hands. This makes the firm looks very untrustworthy and people like me to not even want to deal with this firm never again.

I am rejecting this response because: nothing that this law firm tells you is true and they always have a response about their negligence. At first they didnt do pre-settlement loans but turn around to find out that they do but only through one company CLAIM ***** so I tried and they still batted me down because my case had settled and if I get a loan it would take longer for me to receive the settlement. Remind you that I signed my closing on the settlement July 3, 2024. Now if you go back and read their last response to my complaint it says YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR SETTLEMENT 10 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER SIGNING YOUR CLOSING its now July 23, 2024 and I still havent received my settlement after 14 BUSINESS DAYS their excuse is that they havent received the check yet. So why stipulate that I would receive my check in 10 business days after signing the closing. This is not ok for a law firm as big as Morgan & Morgan to spin/lie to their clients
In times like this. Its very disgusting and unprofessional. I will NEVER again use this law firm nor will I ever recommend anyone to use this law firm. They dont work for the people, they work for self and they are very much controlling and manipulative over your case. They do what they want. Not what you want. I always thought that lawyers worked for their clients but I guess not.this law firm is a piece of c*** with a big name that I wish I never indulged into.

I was in a car accident back in 2021 and was partially paid in 2022. I was told my final check would be able to be picked up but there was apparently some hiccups with my ******** (who was my second ******** after my initial one apparently left) and the front staff. When contacting ****, my latest ********, again he said he had to reconsult with another ******** named ******************* and he now had to place the remaining money in a trust until my insurance company sorted things out. This was 1/21/2022. I wrote him another email explaining my insurance company stated they did not contest the MedPass and thats why I wasnt understanding why he was still doing a trust with the remaining money. He did not respond again to me. I actually waited to give the companies proper time, as I am understanding that insurance and settlements take time. I reached out to Morgan and Morgan shortly after my accident in April of 2022. Over the 2 years I would receive calls and I would return them to be told sorry we need to reach out to the other party for information and will call you back. 2 years.Then I received a phone call at the beginning of April to say my insurance has been waiting on an answer. An answer to what? First time I am hearing this and my case had been moved to another attorney and team. I spoke to the Attorney, and he requested medical records from me which I sent immediately. By the 12th of April my insurance carrier sent me a message that settlement had been sent to Morgan and Morgan. Awesome I think so we can finally close and move on. I wish that was the case. Back and forth yes I can say my Attorney will respond to emails, but it's the same oh my team is working on it. Well are we going to be working on it for another 2 years? I was told ***** days in April. Then ***** days in May as my team is working on it. Well with only seeing 2 doctors down in ******* at the time not much should need to be checked seriously. With 2 years of them having the case they are still checking. In just a week it will make 3 months of them having the settlement in hand. No I have not received anything to sign. I am used to the Hurry up and **** military taught me well, but, I have been waiting for 2 years. 2 years 3 months(almost 4)to be exact. In 2 years time has the team or teams my case has moved through should have gotten the quotes from the 2 Doctors seen in ******* as well as gotten the Insurance Lien. If the hospital has a bill of 200$ pay it. If Doctors' have a 0 balance move along! So ready for this nightmare to be over. Send me the paperwork to sign off on take your fee and let's all move on. All I ask. And if you are making *****% off of me then for the Love of all that's holey do the right thing. Work on it and Finish it. Give me a time of it will be completed by.Business Response
