I have had an awful experience from start to almost finish since I still haven't recieved my settlement check, from miscommunication of settlement amount to lack of updates ... I was told by my lawyer to stop making notes of my online portal this was how I was keeping my self updated with what they told me then they switched to texting my cell phone instead of calling my phone and I have txt from both parties...... I am not in a good position and I feel like my case was not properly handled , I sent in paperwork for both jobs that I ended up loosing due to injuries from accident and lack of transportation due to wrecked car none of which was added to settlement or even looked into as an additive .... only my medical bills were looked at ... non of my other items ... I am a black women and I felt as though they didn't want to work ****** due to my race and did everything they could to ignore and rush my case to be done with me I will NEVER RECOMMEND MORGAN & MORGAN to anyone I love. This law firm has ran past any goals they have set for them selves the people you are suppose to put first are being shoved to the back to line your lawyers pockets .....Morgan & Morgan

I tried filing a complaint but the BBB site is down. After telling Morgan & Morgan to stop contacting me they continue to harass me every day. DO NOT FILL OUT THEIR FORMS. THEY WILL HARASS YOU. The *** should look into their marketing tactics. ****.Morgan & Morgan

False advertising. They turn down and deny your small cases though they advertise they do. But not till after they make you sign with them and do all the paperwork *** then later say oh no. Even though your case is winnable.Morgan & Morgan

They called me 14 times in 3 days and over **************************************************** they can't take my case. The lady on the phone said they've had numerous similar complaints because the way their system is set up.Morgan & Morgan

As a consumer it's only right for me to share my experience with Morgan & Morgan. The case started in Feb 2023 it has been nothing but a headache. I will try to sum it up as much as possible. My daughter case was switched to so many different case managers, paralegals and 2 different attorneys. I would not have known if I hadn't been calling multiply times until I spoke with an attorney. The communication is horrible. The case was settle in Feb 2024 and money was held to pay lien for medical expenses. Now that the firm received their percentage. The attorney *** stop responding to my ************** messages. The paralegal ****** fail to communicate with me in a timely manner or if at all. I had been told in 2023 that info has been sent to the subrogation, ****** couldn't provide me a case #. I have spent so much of my time and energy to get the subrogation contact info for the Medical claims, gathering and providing documents. I asked the subrogation to call ****** in which they did on 4/15/24. I called the subrogation *** on 6/7/24 and was advise ****** has not responded to their email with additional questions which was sent early May. The medical providers apparently settle in March and never received payment from the escrow. I started receiving calls from providers for the balance owed. On 5/20 ****** finally ***lied to one of my email that I sent on 5/08. She had advised me that they will be sending payments and keeping me informed. I hadn't heard anything and collection calls kept coming. I just made payments myself. I's making me wonder if they were holding on to the money so long because they are earning interest. I started noticing that a different *** from M&M name Asia started handling the case for the settlement of the lien in which I wasn't made aware of. The subrogation company finally received their paymemt on 09/18/24. I vow to never use M&M ever again. No matter the out come of the settlement the headache and mental stress is not worth it.Morgan & Morgan

Two years before my brother passed away, he hired Morgan & Morgan out of the ** ********** office to represent him from injuries sustained in an auto accident. My brothers notes and his friends confirmed the case settlement would be $1.5M. Within 12 days of my brothers death, the lawyer, **** *******, settled the case without our approval from the family, despite letters of administration and personal representative paperwork being submitted. Florida law states that an attorney may not settle without the approval of the personal representative. He never shared the details of the settled case. We called another attorney who informed us the case was settled on July 25. **** refused to outline what the net award of $100k would be so I did the numbers for him. Morgan and Morgan receives 40% (40k), expenses $15k, ******** claim $22k, estimated medical costs $15k, lawyers estimated costs my brothers estate is $5,000. The net amount is $3,000. And there was no guarantee our brother would have seen an award near $1.5M. Morgan & Morgans tagline is: We dont just want to do wellwe want our clients to get what theyre entitled to and the defendants to face real accountability. Florida state law states no cause of action dies with the person. I asked if he had considered other strategies, (no wrongful death, survival action due to excruciating pain and suffering over 24 moths), he said 3 times to me, you are in so much grief that you cannot think clearly about the law. This lawyer was mean to a plaintiff because I questioned him. **** rushed to a settlement. Was this the best option? May be? I can only think his defensiveness is hiding something. Tonys responses that I am welcomed to pursue other options with another law firm. **** will respond by filing a lien for their fees and costs which will be paid out of the maximum settlement available of $100k. My advice, be very careful with Morgan & Morgan. My brother would be so upset with **** and Morgan & Morgan.Morgan & Morgan

You couldn't just receive my presentation that I've worked so hard on day and night for a month? You had make some guy listen to me cry while I tried to answer questions I've worked so hard to convey in a respectable written manner?! First of all you must realize that you are dealing with a huge Law Firm where you can be lost in the shuffle vs a smaller law firm that you will develop a personal relationship with.Morgan is more like a conveyer belt system where you are assigned a number and processed along the system. You will more than likely never meet the attorney that is assigned as the primary to handle your case face to face in person unless you have a trial. The main way that your attorney will handle your case is with FaceTime and more times than not you will need to request a meeting for updates.**Keep all correspondence that you have with this firm (emails, texts) and take very detailed notes of phone calls and when you FaceTime try to have someone else in the room to witness the call. Morgan will keep all records for sure and you need to be able to tell if their notes do not match yours especially when you are discussing fee's and settlement amounts!I discussed trial vs settlement with my attorney after negotiations were conducted. The other side made an offer which I was very reluctant to accept. My attorney which initially discussed a really high lawsuit was now reluctant to go to trial and wanted to do a settlement. I discussed the amount of the settlement with the attorney and the attorney assured me that I would receive (AT LEAST) half of the of the settlement amount.I took the attorney at his word and accepted the settlement. I received initial funds from the settlement with some of the funds being held for billing. I received a final settlement check and to my surprise it was ****** short. The attorney gave me the run around and I fought back and got them to pay ****** back. You shouldn't have to fight with the law firm to get what is owed to you. I think they take advantage because people won't fight with a big law firm and just take what they feel like paying you.Keep accurate records because you will need them and always look after your own best interests !Morgan & Morgan
