Yesterday my husband and I decided to try Longhorn in ********* for the first time. I was very disappointed with my experience. When the waitress asked us for our drink order she told my husband I didnt even hear anything you just said which we thought was kind of rude. Then we placed our appetizer order (which came out at a decent time) and then our food order. We waited for about an HOUR for our food. Keep in mind my husband and I SHARED an entree because of how big the steak was. So ONE HOUR for ONE PLATE OF FOOD. I started to get frustrated because 2 tables that came after us already received their food and were already paying their bill. The waitress was checking in on the food every once in a while but said there is still one order ahead of you and the kitchen is backed up. The final excuse was that since I ordered my meat medium well it takes longer to cook. The manager finally came over, with our food at that and says Im sorry for your wait is there anything else we can get you? I tried to tell him about our wait and how everyones order where coming out before ours and he was very dismissive and repeated Is there anything else we can get you as if he did not want to listen to what I had to say. I think I really had it when the waiting did not pay off. Instead of enjoy our SHARED medium well steak that took a little longer to cook, it was RARE or Medium Rare. The waitress asked if we wanted a box and I said NO because we didnt even ask for the meat to be cooked like that. She takes the steak back to them and comes back with the bill with 50% taken off. I dont think we will ever come back to Longhorn again.Darden Restaurants, Inc.

1 starI was celebrating my birthday last night, only for my girl to find a long black hair in her appetizer. Which wasn't a huge deal till this man came out who was rude and disrespectful. He not only made a racist joke about Mexicans in the kitchen sorry for the hair you know how they are!!!!! I'm Hispanic...the whole table was of mixed race. Than he didn't even take the food off the receipt the waitress had to ask him ...we didn't stay we left right after he said that . The waitress was so nice she tried to fix everything and said sorry so many times but the point is he said it not her!!! He never even said sorry after the fact. Im mortified. 1 starI was discriminated because I could not walk and I am an electric wheelchair. The manager wanted me to ask him for permission to have my electric wheelchair back if I have to go to the bathroom or to leave the restaurant. I've never had this problem in ******* and plus I was there at that same restaurant two nights ago and no one said that they have to take my legs which is my electric wheelchair away from me and for me to ask permission to have them back.Review fromVictoria N

Hi name is I give this company a zero, this happens to be my favorite restaurant so I ordered my favorite dish which is egg plant, well the egg plant was not cooked it was so hard a plastic fork would cut it, so I called the restaurant to complain an the person who talked to didn't understand what was stating I tried to explain about my food an he stated that they can't do anything about it. So I asked to speak to a manager an I was waiting on the for them to answer an no one ever picked up the phone. This will be my last time I eat at this restaurant.Darden Restaurants, Inc.

My husband and I came in for my birthday **********. The waiter was excellent, none of this is a complaint on him. But it was 8:45 pm, they stopped making bread sticks, the soup had very little sausage and very little broth. The main meal was skimpy on the sauce and had crunchy salt throughout the meal. The tea was very very bad. They brought me another tea and that one was also bad. It tasted soupy. Long story short , my birthday meal felt like they were closing and giving us the bottom of the barrel on every single item, except the breadsticks, they were out. Not happy with the food at allDarden Restaurants, Inc.

1 starWe were expecting a local brewery, sports bar type vibe. However, we were instantly discriminated against for being Philly sports fans. Were used to it. But to be told not to cheer for your team that is losing at a sports bar? Being confronted by 2nd shift management with threats? No thanks! 1 starWe arrive at the olive garden at ************** before 4 pm and it was 2 hostess neither one of them turned around to greet us the one woman African American say " how many we say 2 for booth....she say you have to wait 15 me and my husband look at each other and we say OK we are leaving the African American women say " OK have a good day with cocky tone of voice " we come to this restaurant often and never have this kind of service...the restaurant was empty...why should we wait 15 minutes and why the attitude of this worker? This was probably the most horrible experience Ive ever had at this establishment and Ive been here plenty of times before. I would give them no stars if I could. I took my son daughter and my two nieces on September 8 around 8:30pm. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table which is expected I have no issue with that. We were finally seated our waitress came after a few minutes to take our drink order. Ordered a peach iced tea when it got there I noticed it was unsweetened tea. We were all ready to order so we did. I noticed there was no silverware on the table. Usually its there before you arrive to the table. Didn't think anything of it. Since we were staring with our soup. It comes with the spoon. Thai is when things started to go downhill. Took them very long to come with the soup I kind of thought they forgot about us. We finished all the breadsticks by the time the soup came. I asked if we can get more. Waitress said it was going to be a while something was going on in the kitchen. Finished the soup without breadsticks. Asked for more soup and finally the breadsticks came. Still no silverware by this time. Out entrees came like ***** minus later. And I finally said to our waitress we need silverware. She apologized said her manager was getting some for our table. My kids and I were so hungry and tired of waiting we started picking at it with our hands for a good 5-10 minutes, when the manager finally come with the silverware she only brings 4 there are 5 of us. I was ****** Im only here two days out of the week Im on the road all week. All I wanted was a nice dinner with my kids. I feel like everything was pushed off and management went without a care ? Asked for a refill of water and she came back with a plastic to go cup saying they ran out of glass cups. At this point I ask for the corporate number but then I googled what to do and this was recommendedDarden Restaurants, Inc.

1 starI placed an order at 5:01pm and it was to be ready at 5:30pm. I drove to the restaurant, was early and waited. I called inside at appx 5:32 pm to inquire and was told coming out now. I I called again appx 10 mins later, was told I'm bringing it out now. At appx 6:00pm, I called to tell them that i was leaving and to cancel the order. I even drove around the lot again just in case it was ****** out, no it wasn't. I asked for a manager and was told she was in a meeting. I held on for appx 20 mins. While holding about 5 mins. someone came on the line and said I came outside and you weren't there. I told her that I canceled because it wasn't brought out and that I was waiting on a manager. The manager finally came n the phone. After asking, she said her name was ***. I told her what occurred and told her that i wanted a refund. She stated that she would process it and that it would take 24 hours. I said ok. I then asked again if she was the manager and was told ***. I asked, does Longhorn apologize for poor service?? She, then, gave a "fake" apology (it's how I felt). I gave a fake thankyou and sounded as if the phone was slammed down. As of 8/27, I have yet to receive the refund. At the very least, I want my money immediately. Longhorn spoiled my evening. I was attending an event where my food was going to be from this restaurant. 1 starI came in for an interview at this Olive Garden on New ***** and it was the worst experience I have had job seeking. The hosts were snickering and eventually, loudly started making fun of me. I would repeatedly try to ask for the manager. Yet each time I was met with either "maybe you should make sure it's the right date" and "the manager is on their break". Finally, they told me that I should just apply for another position later. As I walked away, the hosts were obviously laughing at me. This behavior is unacceptable and it's no wonder people hate on this business with the way they treat future employees. By the looks of this page, it seems that they don't even treat their customers with care. The manager should be fired or at the very least reprimanded for wasting future employees times.
