Longhorn restaurants have gone down the drain. What was once an upscale restaurant is now a scene from the Wild Wild West. My date and I went in there and was harassed by the whole entire staff. First they invited themselves into our private conversation, then later a server downright verbally attacked us attempting to denigrate me and my date for being there on a date since they had seen us with other dates with other people there, then the hostess calls the police and falsifies a police report stating we hit her while she was physically blocking us from leaving the parking lot after I asked for the server’s name to report her to management. I spoke to the assistant manager about this who was unapologetic and protective of his crew saying that he was there that evening when it occurred. I spoke to the director of operations who says he is taking statements from the employees. Do not eat there. It is filled with disgruntled workers who are busybodies and troublemakers who treat regular customers poorly because they are jealous.Darden Restaurants, Inc.

A man from guest relations called me but didn’t really care because I recounted the nightmare to him but he shut it down and did not want to hear it. He kept saying I’m more than welcome to go back there, no one will harass me and they will cooperate with authorities. The whole staff should be fired for harassing a loyal customer.Melissa G

I won’t be going there anymore. What once felt like a safe place to go 7 days a week is now something I wince uncomfortably at every time I drive by. I tell all my friends and dates not to go there because of the nightmares I’ve experienced there not once but multiple times. The other instance was when a busybody bartender told my date I was there with someone else the previous time. The place is a catastrophic setting to go to because there are busybody vigilantes who work there ready to destroy people’s personal lives without knowing the situation whereby they have no right to know in any event and their role is to just do their job, remain quiet and mind their own business. Management should terminate the whole rowdy bunch for not only humiliating my date and I but for being aggressive with us by imprisoning us in the parking lot and calling the police to report fake allegations. The entire staff was out of control and could have caused harm to myself and possibly others had my date not told her to move away from the back of my car. She reported to the police that I punched her and that I was trying to run her over. Please review the cameras for outside footage for the disgusting unfolding of events of that night. I am seeking legal recourse for my post traumatic distress syndrome in the aftermath of that torrential night.Review fromLatonya W.

I went to Olive Garden with a my sister. We both ordered Lasagna. I found that my Lasagna had a little crunch to it that increased to the point that a piece wasn't chewable. I took the piece out my mouth and found it was what appeared to be white glass like substance. My sister experienced the same.
I contacted the waiter and he immediately took the plate and said he was taking it to the manager. Manager returned and informed me that it was pieces of the plate. He apologized, said they threw away the pain and could get me more if I like. Of course I declined.
I started feeling stomach pains went to ER and was there for 6 or so hours. I started feeling better a few days later and was able to return to work.
I filed a claim with the organization and my medical bill is still unpaid as their offer was minimal in comparison to what I went through and me and my sister bills have went to collections. I will never patronize them again. The restaurant as well as the corporate office doesn't value their customers.Darden Restaurants, Inc.

I decided to bring my son after graduation to eat at Longhorn. When we were seated, we only received a menu. I had no idea that we did not receive our silverware. I happened to receive my salad, but I had no utensils. I asked the guy who seated us if we could receive some utensils. He answered, “No, I cannot; your server will have to give it to you.” I was baffled by the nonchalant response. I asked if he could at least let my waiter know I needed utensils to begin eating my salad. He continued to wipe the table next to us. This gentleman was Caucasian with kind of length brunette hair, wearing eyeglasses. I asked for a manager, but he ignored and walked off. I asked a waitress who I saw; she ignored me the first two times after I said, “Excuse me, ma’am.” She was a Caucasian white female with eyeglasses.
I asked for a manager again — she stated she would get one for me, but one never came to the table. It felt like we were being discriminated against. I will also be filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau or contacting the local news media. For one, I made a purchase over $100 for sloppy service. I informed my waiter of the situation; he apologized and stated he would notify the manager about the problem. Still, no manager came to my table, or was anything discounted. The food was horrible. I ordered a ribeye steak that left an aftertaste. I went to this restaurant because I thought we could get a nice, upscale meal. So disappointed! The customer service was disgraceful. I do hope this matter is looked into. However, I was still fair to my waiter by leaving a reasonable tip amount. I will not be returning for any future services, nor will I recommend this location to anyone else.Darden Restaurants, Inc.

We stopped at the Olive Garden Hyannis, Mass and had a great
experience. Our meals were terrific, and I would like to add a huge compliment for our waitress. Her friendly, professional approach
was much desired after a long day.
Our waitress did all she could to make our experience at Olive Garden a memorable one. We will return again, not only for the great food, but also for the experience with our wonderful waitress.

I ordered a family size salad ONLY to-go at 9:25pm on 4/7/23 from Cheddar’s in Little Rock, Ar. It was of poor quality when getting it home. We called the hostess working around 10:30pm that night and asked how it can be corrected, and asked the hostess what she would suggest we do? All of which was asked in a pleasant tone (after we tipped 20+%). The hostess condescendingly said if it were her she’d eat it and not say anything “bc she works at a restaurant and understands” and hung up. When arriving and speaking to Tom, he justified her telling us she’d just eat it and not complain. When I mentioned how she hung up before we could even respond, he only said “Well…”.. Tom continued to dodge accountability for the interaction. As we exited, I addressed the rude hostess (white girl with burgundy extensions and very long nails) WITH NO PROFANITY!! She smirked and flipped me off, while Tom stood and allowed it. Hands down the WORST experience, I have ever had at any restaurant. I expect much better from DARDEN restaurants, and from Larry ****** (GM).
The fact that management offered no empathy…and when refunding…did not refund the initial to go tip is infuriating after such a horrific experience. Tom didn’t even asked the host to go to the back after flipping me off…he never addressed her behavior besides defending it. This was my go to restaurant for small family gatherings, now I will NEVER visit again. Literally still shaking from the experience.Darden Restaurants, Inc.

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant - Fairfield,
We usually like Olive Garden Italian Restaurant - Fairfield, and dine there on occasion.
..BUT:
Warning: Don’t ever let the hostess seat you in the bar area !
Why the hostess on Fri 31 Mar ’23 [elderly lady] sat us in the bar area I don’t know !
But the so called ‘service’ there was terrible..
The bar maid [a hvy-set black lady] was too concerned w/ the bar to care about us !
She never smiled or said anything nice !
We had to continually wait and try get help ourselves.
& It wasn’t just us, ..another customer came in & She didn’t even want to serve him !
Must just be short-staffed, and cant find any good help !Darden Restaurants, Inc.

My mom and I visit the Longhorn in Bowie, Maryland on March 6, 2023. The booth that we sat had ants on the table and chairs. I spoke with the manger and he said that they did a pest treatment on the outside of the restaurant, and that they needed somewhere to run to. That’s not a response to give customers. The ants was on the bread board it was just awful. Someone needs to address this manger and the situation.Darden Restaurants, Inc.

My family and I have been a avid fan of Longhorn for years and refuse to dine any other steak house. We make it even a tradition to come to Longhorn every Friday like clockwork since it was built and open where I live. It’s VERY rarely we miss a Friday. It’s like a treat and something we look forward to. We made friendship with one of the original waitress when she started out as a hostess. So, giving you the idea of how much of a regular we are. I normally don’t do reviews, but tonight I had to. It’s over something stupid. So I’m a avid fan of the flat part of the wings and I know that you guys don’t do just flats. But one day, I was explain by one of the managers that we can order all flats if a customer ask. Explained that recently a VP or someone higher up went to a Longhorn wanted all flats and was told the same, and he went to the back kitchen and got flats and explain that if customer wants all flats they can. So last couple Friday, I was thrilled to order them. I got my wings back. Tonight when I ordered it, I was told by my waitress that Jeff the Management partner was not happy and raised his voice when he saw the order. And basically make it clear that they should know that they don’t do that. And not do it again.
Now mind you, as much as my family and I (party of 3 usually spend between 98.00 - 110.00 every Friday for over 4 years) do the math. And you Jeff would get mad over some 12 dollar wings?? When all the customer did was order what they said they could ? I know some would probably think, I’m probably picky or a Karen. I’m the opposite. I love this Longhorn and rave this Longhorn at this location I go to. It’s sooo sad that we won’t be coming back any time soon.Darden Restaurants, Inc.

1 starHello, I went to Cheedars in Brandywine MD on Saturday 2/17/23 around 1500. There was a wait for a table but the host told us we can self-seat at the bar area, MIND YOU.. its two couples, and it was 4seats open for us at the bar. My other party did not arrive until 5mins after I was seated. THE BARTENDER refused to serve us because she assumed we had a party of 6, noone told her this. A couple of young women came in asked " is this seat taken " I said no but I was waiting on someone, them people over there just left if you want those seats. THE BARTENDER NANDY just kirks on me, saying you cant tell them where to sit this my bar, I wont serve you, Calling me *******. Trying to spit in my food, This girl is disrespectful and don't care about how she makes the company look. I spoke with TWO MANAGERS NOT ONE ABOUT THIS SITUATION and they did nothing about it. SHE CONTINUE TO THREATEN ME SAYING SHE was gonna meet me outside after her shift ends, she kept saying "10 mins " is this how you guys run a company???? I come to cheedars to often to deal with this kind of treatment. I want this taken care of bc I will continue to report this on ***** ******* **, ANY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM.. WE LEFT AND PAID A GOOD AMOUNT OF MONEY, no money was deducted off.. no apology was given, and this girl did not get sent home for anything. The service was disappointing and I refuse to ever come back to this place to spend a PENNY!! yall just lost a good loyal paying customer. I had a bad experience at the Cheddars Sugarland location. My mother and I went to have lunch yesterday 1/22/23@1513. The young lady was very nice that waiting on us . We waiting almost 30 mintues for our drinks at the bar . The young lady stated that bartender made the wrong drink . We ask for the manager the guy came look the machine at the table then said i will be right back . The asst manager came with the drink very frozen He did not apologize anything . My mother and I.
