We were hostages of Holiday ****************** when we thought, we were going to a presentation about vacationing, We were confined in a room with a team of three sales representatives, who made it their mission to ensure we did not leave without agreeing to their terms. Despite our clear and repeated refusals and declining more than four different offers, the intensity of their tactics escalated. We were physically prevented from leaving the room on multiple occasions, and our IDs, taken at the start of the presentation under the guise of verification, were withheld to keep us there. Again, they promised us it was to be a brief, one-hour session extended into an exhausting ordeal lasting more than three hours. The sales tactics employed were not only intense but deeply unethical. The Total Interest Percentage (TIP) was never disclosed to us, a critical piece of information that was conspicuously absent from our discussions and the documentation process. This lack of transparency is deceptive, to say the least. Furthermore, key product-related fees were omitted from our conversation, leading to unexpected financial burdens that we were not prepared to take on. These deceptive practices led us to make a commitment under false pretenses, without the necessary information needed to make an informed decision. As a direct result of being misled, we have never used the timeshare and have no intention of doing so. We feel deeply wronged by Holiday ************ Club employees and are seeking redress for the unethical and fraudulent practices we were subjected to by your employees.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

My experience with this company started in December 2022, when I got a call from Holiday Inn Club Vacations at ********************************** in *********. They proposed a 3-day, 2-night stay for $199, on the condition that I attend a timeshare presentation. I saw it as an opportunity for a brief getaway and decided to take it, knowing full well that I had no plans to buy a timeshare.After enduring hours of relentless pressure, I finally gave in and agreed to purchase the timeshare. Exhausted and just wanting it to be over, I was taken to another office where the woman, who oversaw the contract signing, had me sign and initial numerous pages in about ***** minutes. The whole experience felt like a whirlwind, and I left with a stack of paperwork and lingering doubts.The costs seemed to keep accumulating with no end in sight. To date, I have spent thousands of dollars with virtually nothing to show for it. The annual fees keep increasing, and this entire experience has been both financially and emotionally draining. The sales presentations were overwhelming with so much information being communicated so quickly, while the contract signing was hurried and rushed. I have been an owner for over 5 years, one of my worst decisions in my life . There customer service is terrible, and it is impossible to talk to a person. Don't make a mistake while booking because they will charge you for a simple mistake.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

If zero stars were an option that is what they would get. I called Holiday Inn to make an adjustment to an existing reservation and they told me I would get 500 rewards points by listening to information about a vacation package and they transferred me. I was told by the salesperson that I was getting a 3 Night/4 Day stay Resort package for up to 6 people. When I called to make a reservation, I was told I purchased a standard hotel package for one room. I called back and demanded a refund because I had been lied to. She put me on hold to "listen to the recorded conversation" and came back and said to look for the cancellation email. I completed the form and submitted...now I wait. Do not be taken in by this group. I'm really disappointed that the hotel has an affiliation with this group. I think I will avoid Holiday Inn for future stays because this is so dishonest.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I will no longer be a customer of ********************** or any of their hotels. It has been almost two years since losing my wife and I myself have been in and out of the hospital for the last several months. Holiday Inn doesnt care to release me from the ownership and can only think to ask me for money. I cant pay it and I have told them as much for years. I cant use their hotels and I dont particularly want to go alone without my wife. Obviously I cant go anywhere when I spend half the year in the hospital. They are not considerate of the loss of my wife or chronic health problems. I would not suggest becoming an owner because we all eventually get older and with that comes health problems and hospital bills. According to them it does not matter what you may be going through. They will send you bills until you are gone. They will not show an ounce of kindness even though they are probably going to resell your timeshare anyway.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

We were pressured into buying this Timeshare. We attempted to use the timeshare and was diverted to a hotel. When we arrived in *********** after a 13 hour drive we were told the hotel was closed for repairs, and the only thing they offered was a number to call and suggested another hotel. We ended up using our monies for the vacation to stay at the other hotel. We attempted to use our points at a Holiday Inn in *******, **, and was denied. We just bought this Timeshare in March this year 2024. We would like to cancel our contract, and receive all monies due. I would like help with this. 1. I have solicited call from Holiday Inn Club Vacations even I never provide my personal details to them. The sales person was nice and short and I purchased 4 night stay for 300$. Then I lost my job and they called me to book. I explained my situation and they told me they cannot refund. Then Russian aggression started and I am Ukrainian I support my country and then they phone me again, guess what when I explained the situation the said we cannot refund we can extend your time for reservation of service i never received. So they called me 6 times I gave him my situation 6 times its really hard to explain it every time. And finally I decided to give it shot and forget about this crooks but my wife felt down and had s an emergency radiology exam on this date and guess what they charge me additional 99$ for not show up.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I just stayed at the H3233**31353735343539H, My family and I have been coming to the property since the early 1990's. My recent and last 2 stays have been horrible. During my last stay (from 9/5 to 9/12) I found out on 9/8 via a phone call to my villa that I was signed up for an Owners Update meeting that I didn't agree to during check-in. I complained to the agent and 3 different people about this and even when I checked out - I was charged a #** no show fee, When I was told to speak to Marketing agent ******, he refused to refund the charge then showed me a sheet that I signed for the meeting which doesn't match my signature, When I showed him my Driver's License and then stated how does these 2 signatures match in any way he didn't care and still refused. He fed me a line that he was going to pull video cameras to see, I then pointed to both signatures again and then stated these signatures don't match. I had to go to H313532373933****3733H *************** to get the refund - even they saw that my signature was forged by the agent (*****) who gave me my parking pass and wristbands . Our relationship with Holiday Inn began when we were invited to take a trip to **********, *********. This invitation followed our booking of a room at ************ in **********. As part of the invitation, we were required to attend a brief presentation about a vacation club. We agreed to an early time slot, believing it would allow us to spend the rest of the day with our family at the ************************. Although the presentation was brief, deciding to purchase a one-bedroom villa (with a corresponding points value) turned the day into a six-hour endurance experience. Throughout this sales event, we were never informed about the fees associated with using or extending points. We were often told that points could be extended and stockpiled, but at no point where we made aware of the fees for banking points for future use. At the end of our first year, we had surplus points and had to pay a fee to bank them. Additionally, we discovered that even after paying to bank points, they were only valid for a limited time. The numbers discussed during the presentation were different from those we signed up for, resulting in a cost that tripled instead of doubled when we traded our one-bedroom for a three-bedroom. Critical aspects such as inflation were not adequately covered, and the promised exclusivity and priority booking were not honored. We were also misled into believing we could sell the timeshare after it was paid off. Additionally, we were signed up for an *** credit card on the spot to cover the down payment, and many details of that transaction were unclear.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Agentasked if I would be interested in 3 night and 4 day excursion for a nominal fee of $199 to hold the deal. Told that that amount would be returned after presentation. At least once a week or more I was hassled in making a trip. I finally made reservations in ***********. Arrived on Saturday and went to presentation across the street on Sunday. I was in line to check in. Lady asked some questions. One of which was did I have annual income of 50k . I said no. I am retired. Without any other commentary, she announced in front of bystanders that I did qualify and gave me a card and said to call the number. I did and was told that $402 had been charged to my credit card and I would not receive $199 I had already paid. He insinuated that the hotel made the charge and couldnt be reversed. Hotel did not make the charge. Holiday Inn resorts did. They even stated that there were some shady characters and unhappy people who had attended the presentation. I checked out early because I was so upset and humiliated. I called the company the next day and asked to speak to management. I explained what happened. I told her that I could have lied about income. She relented that they would not have any way to prove otherwise. I also told her that she had no idea my circumstances and that I was comfortable in the fact that I could have entertained purchasing a vacation. She finally relented and told me they would credit me $200. Even with that I am out $500 plus the extras I spent. Guess what, two days later still have not gotten credit. Called back and somehow credit wasnt processed. And to boot, hotel Holiday Inn Express which is very nice and customer friendly, is located across street from holiday inn vacation. There is nothing around except cruise lines. It is at least 10 miles to get to civilization. No beach. Very bad experience. I accept some responsibility by not investigating the company and falling for something that sounded to good to be true.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated
