I would give zero stars if possible. Holiday Inn Club Vacations is effectively a scam. After getting sucked into a "short survey" following a stay with an IHG property for rewards points, I was then transferred to a different person and then "offered" a vacation package at one of their resorts. It was a basically a high pressure sales call where I was given basically no chance to do any research and suckered into signing up. They said I could book at several locations across the country including several hotels in Orlando but when I called the reservation line this list of available destinations that I could book at were only:
Theme Park Thrills Orlando, FL
Entertainment Oasis Las Vegas, NV
Atlantic Escape Myrtle Beach, SC
Living History Williamsburg, VA
Mountain Wonders Great Smoky Mountains, TN
Space Coast Sights Cocoa Beach, FL
Western Treasure Scottsdale, AZ
Family Entertainment Branson, MO
Mountain Adventure Lake Tahoe, NV
New England Nature Berkshires, MA
Urban History New Orleans, LA
Midwestern Appeal Sheridan, IL
Watersports Paradise Lake Palestine, TX
Hill Country Getaway Canyon Lake, TX
Gulf Coast Charm Galveston, TX
If you get a call from IHG to answer a survey or Holiday Inn Club Vacations I would recommend you not make the same mistake I did and just hang up the phone.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

My disabled husband and I had the worst experience with Holiday Inn Vacation Club. Those salespeople were beyond pushy, and they knew my husband was a Vietnam War vet, which they shamelessly used to their advantage. We said no over 4 times, but they kept at it for a whopping 4 hours! And guess what? They straight-up lied about the cost, making it sound affordable. So, we caved and bought the smallest points package. As it turned out, those selling points turned out to be completely fabricated! They didn't mention that our kids would be stuck in debt forever. Trying to book a vacation is a total nightmare! Never any availability, and their solution was always to buy more points.
Even on vacations, we couldn't escape the harassment. Constant calls to attend their updates, even after I said no. It is extremely difficult to find time to vacation and the harassment makes it impossible to just relax.
Shame on Holiday Inn Vacation Club for preying on us and all the lies. We're demanding they cancel our contract right away. Trust me, stay far, far away from these jokers.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Scam...Scam...Scam!!! Stay Away!!!
I AM BEYOND FURIOUS WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY!!!
I'm writing this review on behalf of my elderly parents. They have owned 2 timeshares for 26 yrs. and spent over $100,000 over the years and was in good standing with this company. Both timeshares were paid in full at time of purchase and all maintenance fees were paid on demand each year in full when they owned them. My parents are 86 & 82 and unable to travel any longer so they sold both timeshares in Aug 2019 with the assistance of a law firm. Moving forward to Jun 2023, Holiday Inn Club Vacations (HICV) sent my parents 3 separate past due bills for maintenance / membership fees totaling $17,410 ....LET ME BE CLEAR... from Aug 2019 to Jun 2023 HICV NOT ONCE contacted my parents regarding past due fees...NO EMAIL...NO LETTERS...NO VOICEMAIL...NO PHONE CALL...NOTHING. Now they are demanding payment in full which they will not get. I will be contacting them today demanding an explanation as to why there was zero correspondence for 4 yrs and suddenly they now want their money....that was a huge red flag.....What company would allow 4 yrs to go by without receiving any payment then suddenly demand so called past due fees in excess of $17,000 ... NONE that I know of!!!
Do yourself a huge favor and do not do business with this company. They have caused tremendous unwarranted stress on my parents and should be ashamed preying on the elderly!
I can only hope reading this deters anyone from conducting any business with HICV!!!

I strongly advise against any involvement with Holiday Inn timeshares, as their deceptive practices and broken promises have caused me significant financial and emotional distress. Let my experience serve as a cautionary tale to others.
In March 2020, I attended a meeting after Holiday Inn employees manipulated my children with false promises of store credit. The meeting turned out to be a four-hour high-pressure ordeal filled with lies and misrepresentations. They convinced me to convert my timeshare at The Ridge Tahoe into Holiday Inn points, with promises of access to Caribbean resorts that don't even exist.
After being conned into purchasing the timeshare, the promises made during the closing turned out to be empty. Booking stays became a nightmare, with no availability even in Colombia. The resort I ended up staying in Scottsdale, Arizona, was far from what was advertised, lacking the expected amenities.
To make matters worse, the maintenance fees skyrocketed from $500 to an outrageous $2,000, contrary to what I was assured. This experience has been embarrassing and distressing, and I no longer wish to be associated with Holiday Inn. I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others about their dishonest tactics.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I
feel the need to share my terrible experience with Holiday Inn Club Vacations' deceitful timeshare program. My wife and I were promised luxurious vacations worldwide, including trips to Disney resorts with our family. However, the reality was a web of fraudulent
claims and manipulative tactics that left us financially burdened. I hope this review serves as a warning to others. We were enticed by the prospect of dream vacations and a fraction of the cost through a Holiday Inn representative. Little did we know we
were being severely ripped off. The initial hour-long presentation
turned into a grueling four-hour ordeal filled with pressure and incomplete information. Hidden fees and our right to cancel were conveniently omitted. Despite declining
several times, we were coerced with false promises of profitability and belittled for not providing our children with extensive Disney vacations! The
constant ringing of a bell and fabricated urgency further manipulated us. All smoke and mirrors with Holiday Inn. The reality of our timeshare ownership didn't align
with the promises, at all. Booking vacations became a nightmare of insufficient points, forcing us to purchase more points
repeatedly. The pandemic worsened the situation. Despite being assured of “deeded
property”, we couldn't stay
anywhere during Covid while still making payments. When travel restrictions eased, the resorts were either inaccessible or drastically deteriorated. The once-reputable brand of Holiday Inn has been tarnished by their lack of honesty and decency. I
urge anyone considering a Holiday Inn Club Vacations timeshare to beware and avoid this heart-wrenching and financially draining experience.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Holiday Inn Club Vacations is ruthless, and unethical to its core. Since becoming owners, my wife has passed and I cannot afford this solely on my own income with everything else I have to pay – I’ve reached out to Holiday Inn Club Vacations informing them of this, and they are forcing me to remain financially responsible, and I cannot take on this burden anymore. They only care about the number of deals they can close; they don’t care about how this affects people’s livelihoods. You’re just another dollar sign to them! They’ll harass you until you sign a contract, and God-forbid something life-changing happens, they’ll harass you for your payments. You’ll NEVER be able to use this when or where you want, not without being told you’re not using it right, or you don’t have the right week or number of points, and that you need to upgrade. ITS ALL JUST ONE HUGE SCAM!!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

My experience with Holiday Inn Resorts timeshares was HORRIBLE ! Due to misleading sales tactics & a significant disconnect between promises & reality; And despite declining their offers multiple times, the sales staff persisted and resorted to deceptive tricks. I was never provided with necessary documentation such as the rescission period or a truth in lending document. I was trapped and pressured by an intensive presentation resulting in an ill-explained & predatory contract. I was shown an enticing video featuring luxurious beachfront hotels with the assurance that these accommodations would be available to me as an owner; the pressure to make a purchase intensified with more than two sales persons joining the pitch. However the actual resort I stayed at was far from what was advertised & resembled something you could book online for $79.00 a night. To add insult to injury I was not allowed access to the entire resort areas amenities, my stay was underwhelming and fell far short of what was advertised. Attempts to seek clarification & resolution were met with deaf ears. A paid new owner orientation intended to shed light on my purchase was abruptly cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances due to the pandemic. The lack of transparency became evident when I discovered the exorbitant mortgage payment of nearly $300 a month & more than $900 annual maintenance fees. Holiday Inn Resorts timeshares has been marred by misleading sales tactics, unfulfilled promises & a significant disparity between what was advertised and what was delivered. I strongly advise potential buyers to approach these timeshares with caution and conduct through research before committing to any agreements. You're better off at a regular hotel ! This isn't the investment they described...this is an expensive RIP OFF!!!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I would give zero stars if possible. Holiday Inn Club Vacations is effectively a scam. After getting sucked into a "short survey" following a stay with an IHG property for rewards points, I was "offered" a vacation package at one of their resorts. And by offered I mean it was a high pressure sales call where I was given basically no chance to do any research and suckered into signing up. This package included a "2 hour tour" of one of the resorts as part of a timeshare sales pitch. After finally booking our stay, they screwed up our reservation more than once, failed to ever communicate anything with us without us calling them multiple times, and more than once implied my wife was too female to understand anything. We finally did some research only to find how their "2 hour" sales pitch turns into an entire day being effectively held hostage until you pay your own ransom by buying a timeshare. I'll note here that in their original sales call for the vacation package they made a big deal out of how you're supposed to get paid for the tour, because what actually happens is they won't pay you until you sign up. After having our entire package "accidentally" modified to a different week at a different location, we had had enough and canceled the trip. When I called to cancel, the agent tried to slip an additional "rebooking fee" into the cancellation because he assumed I'd be rescheduling the trip. After I said to cancel the package multiple times.
Please be very cautious with this predatory company. Their entire business is built on one of the worst industries already as a timeshare company, but their sales agents are all awful as well. I really can’t tell if their agents are stupid, or really that monstrous. Do not get suckered in; avoid at all costs.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated
