Horrible!! Worse time share ever. Told me I was always be able to book when I wanted because they block off rooms for members. Never happened! Promised me a free weekend, never happened. Said no maintenance fee, I’m getting that twice a year. I can’t use it and can’t afford to keep paying for it and there is no way out! I’m beyond frustrated!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

This is pure Scamme. They tried to foce me in to buying a timeshare. When they realize that's not gone work. they charged me 279 dollars, which supposed to be refunded back to me. It is a scam don't fall for it as I did. You will be better of paying out of pocket and manage your schedule. They just waisted my time and mony. The holiday vacation club experience made me to rethink the values I had for IHG.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

So I booked a 5 day/4 night vacation package in Las Vegas for $279. Find out it’s at another hotel and not the original Las Vegas IHG holiday inn vacation resort as stated. At no time during speaking with the IHG vacation representative he mentioned this portion regarding about staying at another hotel. This is ridiculous and a scam in order to get you to buy a timeshare property.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Because we are proud of the vacation ownership experience we provide at
Holiday Inn Club, we offer incentive stays for prospective new owners to come
and attend a tour of our resorts and learn about our Club benefits. During
popular times, we may not have enough villas available on-site, but can arrange
accommodations nearby. It is certainly important that we make this very
clear to our guests. We’ve asked
the team to reach out to you and we thank you for sharing your comments.Review fromVania L

I am very unhappy and disappointed with Holiday Inn. They exhibited willful negligence and intentionally deceived me. Everything from the very start was a ruse. The 90-minute presentation I was invited to was actually a very high-pressure 7-hour-long sales event. The salespeople refused to let me leave no matter how many times I said no. I was promised luxurious vacations and financial savings, but all I have done is throw away money. I was also told that I would not have to pay any maintenance fees or taxes. Another falsehood. This is probably why they rushed me through a 40+ page contract in 10 minutes. If they let me read it, I likely would have caught the lies then.
Recently, I wrote to the CEO of Holiday Inn to explain everything in more detail and ask to be let out of my contract. Unsurprisingly, I haven’t heard back. Not only have I been conned, but the company clearly is also okay with it. How is this legal?Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I was also approached by *** outsourced marketing company. They promised three nights at the resort. It ended up we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express that was being renovated. It was one of the most outdated rooms I ever stayed at IHG. They painted the bathtub white to cover the rust. During the Holiday Inn Club Vacation presentation, I complained about the bait and switch deal and they did nothing. Their main focus was to sell me a timeshare at whatever cost. The presentation went over two hours. Sign here they said and we will offer you 16.50% interest rate for the $40k and then just make your $2000.00 annual maintenance fees, plus a booking fees. This kind of pressure tactics needs to be investigated. I am disappointed the IHG brand which I respect is associated with this group and program. I have the highest membership level at **** ******* ****** This group could not have cared less. Hoping BBB gets involved here.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Scam and lies - RUN!!!
This is a scam, and if you are reading this, it’s likely too late for you. If you are thinking of purchasing, do yourself a favor and read all the reviews here. The only reason there is even 1 star is because your can’t leave 0 stars. Same story as everyone else, nothing but lies and empty promises. I’ve actually been going to the Tahoe location for many years before Holiday Inn Club Vacations purchased and everything went downhill. We used to go annually and paid reasonable annual dues. Last year we foolishly agreed to listen to the timeshare sales pitch, and even more foolishly fell for it. Nothing they said is true. You can’t use your points, there is no availability at any locations at any date. We were told that our points could be used at their resorts but it would also open up thousands of IHG properties. Lies. You can’t use your points anywhere or at any time. I’m currently fighting this but based on all the awful reviews, I am not super confident. But, I have no problem going to their location, setting up a time share meeting and then loudly telling all the people in the room what a scam it is, nothing but lies and empty promises. I’d love to make a scene and I’ll go back daily, I don’t care. Won’t make a difference but it will at least make the salespersons uncomfortable. I’m so furious and can’t get anyone to respond to me. To add insult to injury, all the worthless points I bought will expire in a few months. And what was one set of dues is now two sets. One contract does not replace the other if you were already an owner prior to HIVC purchasing. How does that make sense? I spent all this money on worthless points and now I have 2 sets of dues, for $2000?!?! This organization is total trash and they will eventually have to answer to people, my next step is to get a lawyer. There is a special place in hell for people that scam others, they will get what they deserve. Don’t do it, just run.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Made reservations on the phone and got email confirmation # several months before our stay. When I got to the main desk, they couldn't find my reservation. Spent 20 minutes on the phone with a rep at IHG to try to find my it and link it to the main desk (# on email received didn't match what the main desk had).
On the morning of check out, I did a last minute check around the rooms to ensure our party did not leave anything behind. Upon inspecting the main bedroom with the King size bed, there was a roach on the side of the bed, I knocked it off and tried to step on it but it went behind the night stand/under the bed. I took photos of it. I didn't have time to stop at the main desk as we were leaving to return our car rental and get to the airport for our flight.
This was the only bug/insect I saw but it was unsettling to say the least, that this could have been crawling over us as we slept.
When I got home, I tried looking for a contact email or phone number to call. When I input my information on the IHG website, it states I didn't have a reservation at their facility...assuming again issue with the reservation #?
I would suggest getting an exterminator for these buildings....
I was asked several times to take advantage of resort credit or cash for the Disney parks and when I declined, they continued to push the timeshare sales pitch. They called the room every day. I stopped answering the phone.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

1 starSimilar story to those below. Agreed to go on what was supposed to be a two hour presentation (turned into four hours even after saying we were not interested) and felt things were going fine until the two hours were up and then the salesperson and her manager became extremely pushy. They kept offering multiple discount rates and packages even when we said we would not be purchasing today. It's like they don't want you to have time to think about what you are purchasing because you will realize it is not a worthwhile investment. My husband and I agreed to purchase another stay and attend another presentation at the end of our session but after reading all of these reviews, I will be requesting a full refund (which has to be mailed and received within 10 days of purchase).
The presentation has turned me away from Holiday Inn locations.Review fromAshley M

Holiday Inn Vacations Club is beyond corrupt, it’s not even funny. They kept me in their sales meeting for 5 hours and pitched several “benefits” I’ve come to learn are not true. For starters, I couldn’t even get my contract that day, it took a couple weeks to get it because they mailed it to me – I was also told that part of being an owner with Holiday Inn Vacation Club, I’d be able to access Disney Resorts, Cruises, and Theme Parks, for a discounted cost, which isn’t true either, because you still have to pay full costs to access anything Disney related. I’m sure Disney would find that extremely interesting to know this fraudulent company is using their name to lure people in and profit from their good name. They said that this would pay for itself, and it’s incredibly easy to sell points, none of which is true. They also failed to inform me that the maintenance fees would increase yearly, so how is it even legal to withhold so much important information? I want my contract CANCELLED like yesterday. I want nothing to do with Holiday Inn Vacations Club, and I will never use a property owned by them again!!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated
