I too was scammed by the Holiday Inn Vacation Club. I paid for the resort hotel only to find out days prior to leaving that my family and I were placed in an outdated Holiday Inn. The location was clean but that is about the only nice thing I can say about it. The most concerning part of the experience was going out each day to the car to see a beat up truck with people doing drugs, drinking, and living inside. When I called to express my concern they told me the reservation line was not the number to call but I kept getting looped back while spending over 20 minutes on hold. Then I got charged for $300 when the hotel was only $70/night and I already paid $249. I called the reservation number again and was rudely told that I could have prevented the charge if I would have attended the 2 hour presentation which was 20 minutes away. The whole thing is ridiculous and I am done with IHG. Don't fall for the scam.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

They don't care for their customers. My parents were lied to on how a contract would be written only for the benefit of the sales team. We have been fighting to fix this one contract for 9 months with NO resolution. We were very happy owners until this issue. Now I feel like we need to let everyone know they don't care.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I received a call on February 23 2023 telling me I was being rewarded with a vacation package for my using Holiday Inn Express and IHG rewards Club. The cost was $249.00 for four nights and I would receive a refund of $100.00 dollars at the time of my stay. When I received the details by E-Mail and saw that this was for the purpose of selling time share's I called my create union to reject the charge. I was informed by EECU to cancel the existing card and they would issue a new card. I agreed and received my new card in the mail. The next month the $249.00 charge showed up on my new card. Each month I have called my credit Union and was made to believe it would be corrected. Then on May 10 2023 I received a letter from the credit union stating I had to call the merchant first. I called HICVI on 5-15-23 and was told I would not receive a refund. This is elderly abuse at the least. How can they have A+ rating.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Our packages are deeply discounted,
because we know that vacation time is precious, and tour attendance is
required. For those interested in learning about our Club and benefits,
it can be a great alternative to prevailing rates. In light of the
confusion, we’ve asked the team to reach out to you. Thank you for

My first time coming to this hotel and I will NEVER stay at this hotel again in my life! Literally typing with tears. I booked a room at this hotel for 16 nights totaling at 2863.80USD (7700.00XCD) which was suppose to be in Trinidad and Tobago and by accident it was booked Trinidad in Co as in Colorado… I called to ask them if there’s anything I can do because I was literally standing in front of the lady at front desk who did not see my reservation at Holiday Inn Trinidad and Tobago. They said I can not cancel with no remorse and I said I wasn’t asking to cancel I just wanted my booking transfer as it is the same change and you are affiliated. It was an easy mistake as it said Trinidad and not knowing there is another Trinidad in the US. Still with no care they just brushed me off even when I asked to speak with a manager. I still booked a room for 3 nights because I needed somewhere to stay when I got to the room you can smell the carpets! This has never happened to me before. I will never stay here even if it was the last hotel on the planet!!! They still never put me on to the manager and cut me off twice!! 8k just down the drain and they don’t care!!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Holiday Inn Club Vacations is a
vacation ownership company, and we do not have resorts in Trinidad and Tobago
or in Colorado. Sorry for the confusion. You may wish to contact

hear of the unexpected disruptions to your vacation plans. Thank you for

We had gone on a vacation in 2018 where we stayed at a Holiday Inn. The only reason we stayed there instead of the hotel we always stay at is because our travel agent found a cheaper price. AT no point were we ever informed about the mandatory meeting we needed to attend to keep this rate. We were also given the wrong room so we should have taken that as a sign to leave. The only reason why we attended the meeting is because the employees had bribed us with a $200 cash in exchange for our attendance. During this meeting, they attempted to sell us many packages, including one that cost more than both of our salaries combined. Absolutely ridiculous. Since they were not taking no for an answer and will not let us go until we had purchased something, we decided to pursue this real estate investment. We were told our purchase would let us vacation 4 weeks per year, that we could use it at any resort in the United States, and even exchange our points through RCI to travel internationally. To our surprise, it was all bold faced lies, from a shady company that employs shady people.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

After booking rooms for trip to Florida, I was transferred over the IHG timeshare group since I was “specially selected “ to receive this “rare offer”
Well, my 2 hour tour lasted almost 4 hours. First level sales lady was nice and courteous. I explained up front chances of me buying were 0%. Didn’t want to waste her time… but she wanted to follow through with it.
After the presentation and tour, again told her no, not buying, just here for free room and my refund of $199.
She had to let her manager know who then Tried to pressure me into buying.
Told him, wasn’t a vacation type person, never have been, never will be.
He then preceded to explain that is why my marriage didn’t work and why any future relationships won’t last. I just laughed and again said no… last step was a trailer where you get your money back. She also tried to get me to commit to coming back for a “free stay” at the resort, which I again declined.
Got my $199 back so happy about that.
My suggestion is just say NO… don’t allow anyone to tell you what you can afford or need.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I have serious regrets about purchasing a misleading package for 199$ from Holiday Inn Club Vacations. The initial phone call was misleading, the resort information presented prior to purchase was false, and I was not able to get my money back. I was told I would have my choice from several nice club vacation resorts and for 3 nights/4 days at 199$ I would get my money back after listening to a time share presentation. I submitted my dates and waited the 72 hours I was supposed to wait for a response. No confirmation was sent. I had to take time out of my day to call. I was hung up on several times by representatives. I was told, that I did not buy the package for the nice resorts they spoke of or sent links for, that I only qualified for a hotel stay. The whole thing is misleading and horrible representation for the Holiday Inn Brand. This whole experience was disappointing, frustrating, and honestly criminal. Avoid at all costs. This is pure trash and likewise you may as well throw 199$ in your trashcan for the same experience but with less headache.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Holiday Inn Club Vacations packages are terrible and very much fraudulent. As a servicemember, certain things are beyond me. I was tricked into the 40th anniversary package deal by one of their representatives who never disclosed that I will not be receiving full refund if I were to cancel for any reason. As I am about to leave for overseas, I kindly requested for cancelation and refund. This company said no. This is so terrible. This is such a terrible way to deal with customers. Holiday Inn Club, I would like my refund especially for something I never used or even requested dates for.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

As an IHG member who loves Holiday Inn Expresses, I figured I would keep an open mind and attend one of the Holiday Inn Vacation Club presentations as part of staying in Williamsburg, VA on a golf buddies trip. The sales lady was very professional and polished, and the presentation was impressive, but I really don't want or need a timeshare. I agreed to 2-hours but the presentation was pushing 2 and a half hours and then they left me sitting alone for like 15 minutes and I had a tee time so I up and left. I held up my end of the bargain by attending their sales pitch for 2+ hours but they said since I left early (before they could really put the squeeze on LOL!), I forfeited the $100 cash gift. Plus it turned out that my stay at the affiliated Holiday Inn Express in Williamsburg would've been cheaper for 4 days had I just booked through IHG as I usually do. I think IHG should disassociate themselves from this organization as it does not help IHG's reputation and I think the only remaining connection is that the original Holiday Inn founder was able to use the Holiday Inn trademark name for the timeshare product. I recommend not doing business with this organization, regardless of the sales pitch.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Our discounted vacation packages
require completion of a tour, and questions may take time beyond the
anticipated length. We’re sorry to hear that yours ran longer than
expected and that there was a conflict with your tee time. We’ve asked
the team to reach out to you about how everything played out. Thank you
for sharing your comments.Review fromRoosevelt E

Holiday Inn Club is a timeshare scam! My wife and I were tricked into attending a presentation at the Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee, Florida. We were promised a quick, 1 hour presentation, but this has become a never-ending nightmare. We were treated horribly by the salesperson, who was rude and pushy, insisting that we take the tour even though we had no interest in purchasing. We foolishly agreed to the tour, not realizing that it was a trap! Afterwards we were stuck in an office for over four hours while a team of salespeople swarmed around us - bombarding us with lies. They promised us that the timeshare would be an
investment that we could pass down to our children. Ha! Little did we know that there are no positive returns on this "investment", and that our children would be forced to take on all the hidden fees and mortgage payments. They boasted that access to Disney World would be an ownership perk and we could rent out the unit for extra income. These were all lies! It was all just a marketing ploy. After hours of intense pressure to make a purchase, we caved and bought the smallest package available. We immediately regretted our decision and tried to cancel, but unfortunately, the sales manager and quality assurance officer were nowhere to be found. We made dozens of calls and sent countless emails, but they ignored us. For nine years, we've been stuck with this timeshare, paying outrageous hidden fees. We've attended numerous "owner update" meetings, which are just high-pressure sales pitches in disguise. It's been a constant reminder that we were defrauded and taken advantage of. If you ever encounter anyone from Holiday Inn, I urge you to walk away and never look back. Do not fall for their timeshare scam. Save your money and spend it on a real vacation, not a nightmare that lasts for years!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated
