I was checking on my reward points and wound up being offered a chance to preview one of there resorts for $199. Plus $87. Then $25 at hotel check in. Three days in the resort of our choice. I would receive at least 3 emails a week with different incentives to book now. Finally we had some time to kill so we went to see what they had to offer. They didn't have room at the resort so they booked us into the Holiday Inn in Pigeon Forge. When we arrived at the scheduled tour we were greeted like family. Once we watched a video and toured the condo I told the Rep that this wasn't going to work for us. I told him we didn't need all these extras when we vacation. Just a nice clean place to hang our hats and sleep and the time away, was for what pleased us. Rep got us back to the table and showed us how we needed to take the offer, and then another offer and another. Then he went and got a manager for the hard sell. I told her the same thing as before. After some angry back and forth they both left us sitting there and the they came back and they rudely told us to go see this lady at another table. She rudely push a piece of paper in front of me and started asking questions and circling things on the paper. She finally told us to go to the counter and collect our $249. Refund and walked off. After getting the refund I ask the man where do we go now. He said out that door. It was down 2 flights of iron steps that took us to the back of the hotel next to the HIVC. Definitely not the way we entered. We didn't buy anything and they were done with us. They couldn't take NO for an answer. So glad that experience is over. My wife is still upset how bad and roughly they treated us. Beware .Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

We went for an updated training on the $25,000 package we bought earlier this year. We got to the review location in Branson Missouri which was supposed to be just questions and answers and sure enough they tried to sell us more. I declined to buy more because they made it look attractive but in reality they're just back in your pocket for more money.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

We had a horrible experience this past summer when we went to view the property at Holiday Inn Club Vacations oak n' spruce resort in the Stockbridge Massachusetts area. When I called regarding my rewards program I was transferred to Holiday Inn Club Vacations where I was told explicitly that there would be no pressure when I went to view the property. This was the total opposite of my experience. The salesman was going through the club information etc. and I said several times I wanted to think about it, etc. He said he would be right back, disappeared came back with the manager who was super aggressive, in my opinion. At one point I said she was making me feel very uncomfortable and she still didn't back off. This was during Covid and we were wearing masks and she came very close. She said well you asked for other options, which is not true at all. The property staff were very nice and not associated with Club Vacations.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

*************************** They book us in a hotel. After checking with hotel, additional fees are required plus $30 per day in parking. Had to cancel due to husband's having surgery, was told oh well you will loose $199 if I don't complete trip by April 2023. Horrible experience. Undergoing fertility treatment and in the two week wait. Supposed to be stress free. This company did nothing but stress me out and make me extremely angry. Sad thing about it is that I could tell that the agent I spoke was getting a thrill out of it. I was transferred to them to hear about a promotional offer. After giving them my payment info they disclosed a few details that were not initially mentioned therefore I said to discontinue processing and we have decided to pass. I could not get the agent to say that. He just kept talking about timeshares and then told me that I was out of line for becoming upset. He continued to talk and wouldn't let me get a word in. Of course I became overwhelmed and he got just what he wanted. As far as I know the transaction was not processed. It's only been a short period of time. Horrible customer service! Been paying on the resort for five years I have two accounts and I missed monthly payments planning on paying with income tax and they took my money and closed both accounts one for 5000 which was almost paid off and the other for 15000. It upsets me because they allowed me to pushed what is owed to the back of the loan and took 3000 twice from me and this time just closed my accounts. If I could give Holiday Inn Club Vacations zero stars I would. I was lied to from the start. I was told it's an investment.....it is not. I was told maintenance fees would remain relatively steady....they have not. I was told as an owner I would receive preferential treatment. This couldn't be further from the truth. Sunset Cove on Marco Island is nothing but a hotel. People can make a reservation and stay there cheaper than my maintenance fees. I even asked the general manager what I received as an owner and he said nothing other than a dedicated week. Now IHG or Holiday Inn or Sunset Cove or whoever it is changes their timeshare calendar, doesn't notify us and tells us we are out of luck as a result. We were basically told oh well, you screwed up. Anybody that is reading this and considering buying a timeshare or doing business with any of the above named entities seriously needs to reconsider. I'm advising you not to do it. These places are dishonest, unscrupulous, deceitful, malicious and outright liars. Steer clear!!!!!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

When I decided to go ahead with a purchase of a timeshare with Holiday Inn Vacation Club, I was told that I was making a real estate investment that would, over time, save me money, not become a financial burden. Oh boy, now I know this is not true in any way. I'm not sure if the salespeople are confused about what they are selling or if they do it on purpose. Because of their lies or ignorance at what they are selling, they have completely committed fraud and have been taking my money and giving me nothing but a headache in return. I am 67 years old and newly retired, and they have shown me no mercy or sympathy for what they have been putting me through. Hey, Holiday Inn, I have a question for you. What is the point of owning and paying fees as an "owner" if any person can book directly through your website or other online travel sites? You have completely disregarded our letter, but instead highlighted multiple times to keep our account current. So basically, you want to make sure you are getting paid, and care less about us! To the people who currently have not fallen for the tricks and games played by Holiday Inn, do not fall for it. I have been a loyal customer for years and have paid all my bills on time. And you may ask, what do I get in return? A headache. Their timeshares are worthless, and they will lie to get you to buy. They always have a way to overcome an objection with dishonesty and paint an amazing picture of vacations for life, but in the end, it is devious and just a disguise to get your money.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Complete scam. Don't ever signup. There are no available rooms, even when calling to book 3 to 6 months in advance. I tried multiple times and everytime they said there are no rooms. But if you go to the IHG website, you can see availability at the hotel, but they won't give those rooms to holiday inn club vacation reservations.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated
