      I am crying as I write this review. As kids, we grow up thinking we can trust companies like this because they're all about hospitality, right? They are a horrible, horrible company. We send a letter asking to be terminated from our business with them. They sent back a long letter citing every reason why they won't assist and they lied in the letter! As an example of many, they said that their sales presentations only last 120 minutes unless we are interested and ask questions. That is so blatantly wrong, disrespectful, and deceptive. They "end" the presentation but keep going so that they stay in line with their company policy but they LITERALLY hold you hostage. We tried to leave twice and the men blocked the door! They are scary.

      Do not fall for these VIP experiences. it cost us over 100,000 points for a two night stay and a rushed unenjoyable Behind the scenes at Sea World. I was going to get my son and his wife included on the excursion but they wanted $1,300 to add just him. It costs less than $100 for Sea World tickets and the behind the scenes was nothing different then the regular Sea World except you get to go in gates other regular guests cannot enter. The food included is their choice no ours. No full menu option at the restaurants. I absolutely regret doing this so called VIP experience. I will never do this again. The only people who benefit from these VIP experiences is an alcoholic because of the free drinks. Being an owner of Holiday Club Resorts has been nothing but a nightmare for us. I live in Florida and my only stays have been at Orange Lake Resort because there is never any availability any where else no matter how far ahead you try to book a stay. Plus got to love all those unexpected dues and other money bills you have to pay besides the monthly premium. I am contacting a lawyer after this VIP rip off. To top it off on the agenda it says the owners meeting where they want you to upgrade said (optional) but I get a call as I am laying in bed sick that I will be charged more money if I don't complete a virtual upgrade tour. Now I am furious! If you are thinking of becoming members do not put yourself through what my husband and myself have been through. The only enjoyable part of this VIP experience was Rachael and her coworker who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and went out of her way to make sure the special accommodations I needed were met.

      Don't do business with their timeshares. You might be saying to yourself that Holiday Inn is a legit company with a good reputation. Well, you've obviously ONLY stayed at a hotel. Their timeshare people are the scum of the earth. We have tried to cancel or be offered some sort of "out" for a year and we keep getting stonewalled. What's worse... THEY KEEP LYING. They say that cancellation is IMPOSSIBLE but we're sitting here looking at our friend's cancellation paperwork. It's not impossible or EVEN DIFFICULT. Holiday Inn just wants you to keep paying and hold you and your family hostage forever. VERY UNETHICAL COMPANY

      On July 18th I attempted to interact with Holiday Inn via email. I have been ignored by Holiday Inn since I first interacted with them on Aug 6th 2017. They got their money that day and disregarded me and my family since then. Now, you have 2 specific interactions. Here is a list of reasons why you might want to do business with Holiday Inn: 1. If you want to be lied to. 2. If you want to be ignored. 3. If you want to be lied to about being ignored. They have the worst customer service. Bad resorts. Poor demeanor. They all look like disgruntled Walmart employees...even the ones they march out in front to lie at sales meetings.

      Being referred to this company was the worse thing my relative could have done. I went to the website to search for a resort and had in mind Las Vegas, Desert resort Spa. Once I chose that location, the website asked to choose 2 dates I would like to visit. Instead of letting me know those dates were not available PRIOR to me booking like any other travel website does, it doesn't allow the customer to decide whether or not the dates are available until AFTER you put your credit card info in! A COMPLETE SCAM! And then once you put your info it that's when your given dates which was nothing available that I could use which is when I chose to travel that particular month. This company is not suitable for the average working person bc there is no guarantee of dates you want. The second issue is the NO REFUND policy, which I was told that I had to use the package in a certain timeframe or I will lose my money! I am highly disappointed and I just want my 249.00 refunded back to me immediately!!!! Customer service refused to allow me to speak with a manger, stating I had to email guest relations and they will tell me the same thing they are telling me!! I wasted 3 hours trying to beg and plead for them to refund me my money and I am at work about to get fired!!!! What I thought would be a nice getaway next month turned out to be a nightmare!!! If I don't get my money back I will put this company on social media and google reviews!!

      Prior to arriving to Gatlinburg, TN, I was a little upset b/c my husband and my airfare cost more than the $249 we paid for the 3 night/4 day stay. On top of that, we were placed in the hotel directly across the Gatlinburg Holiday Inn resort. Ok, when we arrived to the hotel we were pleasantly surprised with the location (basically walking distance to many things) so our attitude changed and we went to our sales presentation with a positive attitude. Our sales guy, Kevin, was great and we were sold. Not until I got home and showed my Navy Jag officer (I'm Active Duty) the paperwork and went over everything I was appalled. I was advised to cancel immediately and highly surprised that I didn't catch some things myself. They claim they would reduce my interest rate to the (SCRA) rate after my account was active in 30 days. That raised a flag (why I showed my Jag the paperwork). What was pointed out to my husband and I is that with the monthly payment of $350.18 for 60 months we would have satisfied our loan of about $21,000 so why did the give us 120 months?!!! Even if we paid extra payments they still would have been getting over $40,000. What a rip off and fraud! I'm patiently waiting to receive my $2,300 because I know they received our written cancelation notice within the appropriate time period. I also sent overnight with signature required and sent subsequent packages just in case. I have plenty of proof! Waiting patiently for my refund. Buyers please beware! The one star is for Kevin only! I did receive my $249 back plus an extra $50 for confirming my reservation. My husband and I do not want anyone from this organization contacting us unless it's to discuss our refund. I'm a veteran defending your freedom and to get taken advantage of in this way is horrendous!

      Yes, please cancel and refund my $2,300 ASAP. I will NEVER again go to another timeshare/vacation club sales presentation with ANY organization. What is not broke don't fix it. We've been doing just fine with the way we vacation through the **************************! We had a 2-bedroom condo in Orlando for $349 for a week during peak season! Also, we did NOT or do NOT have to ever sit through a sales presentation.

      No one has contacted me yet about the refund of my $2,328. You guys were quick to take and charge my credit card. Please be just as quick to issue my refund. I sent the written cancellation in time with a couple of days to spare.

      I was invited/bribed on a "free" hotel stay in Florida. Let's get this out of the way first, I am in a wheelchair and I questioned them about accessible hotels, and of course they said of course - fully accessible. Questioned them about international travel they claimed I could stay in a castle in scottland and would get my room upgraded to private executive suits in many of the holiday inn hotels. Promises and more promises... Still upset about this decision. On the way home I lost my luggage with all the paperwork, and tried to cancel this membership after I knew it was lost. I called after a week that I got home and they said it was too late to cancel.... GRRRRR!!! omg A+ rating with over 250 people giving a 1 star rating? There is something fishy going on with the BBB! I didn't know that they could be bought off... Ohhh yeah, a few hundred million I guess anyone has their breaking point!

      We was led to believe if we purchased more we would get a free trip certificate to Germany and Hawaii. Then another person said we would get help using our points to get better at understanding how to make the most from our points.

      The company will not honor their promises after they sell you the timeshare. On December 21, 2021 we purchased a timeshare and they told us we didn't have to pay for maintenance fees for the one we were owners. I know it was stated on the recording portion of the contract. They denied that was tue, but no one have played the recorded contract to me. They basically not allowed me to use the points that I'm paying $500 a month until I made a payment for the maintenance. Since I started doing the payments, they basically told me that I have to pay it, and dropped the case. I have another timeshare (*************) and my parents have ********. Never had an issue with other timeshare companies like I had with Holiday Inn Vacation Club. Do not purchase from this company! The rating for the BBB should not be F, not A.

When you acquire a new contract week with us, you have the option to finance the next year's assessments or pay them separately when due. We can see that the team determined your new contract did include 2022 assessments, but it did not reach over to pay the assessments for your existing contract. This is not something we can do, since the contracts are separate, and they have different Homeowners' Associations. We are deeply sorry for how this all played out, and we've asked the team to get in touch to see if there is something more we can do to help!       The fact that I requested to hear the voice recorded contractual agreement and the answer was that this recordings are not kept is a big red flag to me. For anyone purchasing ANYTHING from this company, make sure everything is in writing and do not trust on anything verbally communicated. Do not trust on the voice recording contract agreement as it is not kept by the company.

      High pressure sales, made me feel coerced into singing just to GTFO of their offices. Please learn from others mistakes and DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE CRIMINALS. They will NOT let you use your points when YOU want to use them. the whole system is a sham and a cash grab. They are so bad I even dropped using their hotel line for personal and business travel. Ill never give them another dime in any form.

      Impression? for over 3 years I was unable to use points. There is no "impression" its how you do business. All the other BBB reviews relay the same theme. I dont think ALL of us with the same issue is the problem here.
